I usually go to this McDonalds for iced coffees. As of late, the employees have acted like they are on another planet. I know McDonalds is not the best place to work, but at least have a little enthusiasm about your job. The male that took my order and grunted at me when I pulled up to the first window. He could not even be bothered to greet me or say "Have a good one." Not that I need a greeting, but how bout a reply when I say, "Thanks man have a good day." Unfortunately, he could not even grunt at this. In the second window, I was met by a female. She also seemed as if she was being forced against her will to work here. After handing me my items and not saying one word to me, she shut the window in my face as I was trying to get a word to her. I then took that opportunity to yell at the closed doors "Thank you, have a great day!" And of course after trying my iced coffee, it was one of the worst I have had. Went to the Pittsfield, Housatonic street McDonald's and the manager was the grumpiest man I have EVER met. There was this sweet trainee who was taking orders and he didn't know how to put in apples. So I said "okay I'll just add it up there." I told the other people and the manager FLIPPED. Threw the apples at the counter, started yelling at ALL employee embarrassing the trainee saying "I TOLD YOU NOT TO PUT HIM THERE, HES NOT STRONG ENOUGH, HE FS EVERYTHING." In front of my kids and everyone in the place. I get its fast food but that moron shouldn't be a manger and that kid deserves an apology. It was just wrong. Worn-out store very much in need of remodeling - perhaps the worst part is the single sink faucet on the only sink in the women's bathroom, which is broken and almost impossible to turn on without water spraying all over the counter. One of the worst McDonald's on planet earth. Walk up to the counter, no greeting, no assistance, just a cold stare. After you give them your order without them asking, you'll wonder what to do next as they don't tell you or don't ask if you want a receipt. Rude and disrespectful service to say the least. Then, the food. You really have to be a useless soul to mess up a McDonald's order but they did. When I say mess up, I don't mean missing a item or getting the wrong sandwich, I'm referring to the sloppy mess of a burger, that looks to be almost crumbled in a paper wrapping that doesn't cover the sandwich. We were driving by... Passed an enticing Italian place, but forewent hoping to up our culinary game; then rubber necked an enchanting diner, only to be overruled by an ebullient 6 year old and an overtly ornery 13 year old and with annoyed resignation drew the car closer and slower to the Golden Arches. The staff....very nice and patient with the carefully thought through order of the good Misses K. They even permitted said wife to exchange happy meal toys. Bliss. The food was hot, then parfaits were cold, and the beverages more than adequately carbonated. Par for the course, if you get my drift. No beer or spirits, but certainly someone at corporate should contemplate that for a way to improve earnings. If all day breakfast was a boon, imagine what all day beer and spirits would do. Frankly maybe no fast food chain probably should get 5 stars or 4 starts, so this place hits the high-3. One big drawback, seating is VERY limited. 3 booths, a handful of tables and singled raised counter-bar that seats about 10. Unless a bus of Lilliputians pulls in, the place probably could only accommodate more than 2-3 dozen people. There it is......there you go...... read more

I normally am not one to review but will for this one. The parking lot area smells beyond horrifying. So didn't bother trying food as I couldn't imagine the food tasting any good. So I stopped at McDonald's before work, I ordered 2 10 piece chicken nugget meal, and a double quarter pounder with cheese meal, so when I got to work I gave my 2 Co workers their meals, and realized my 10 piece was missing, the main part of my meal. I asked, " is everything in there?" They responded, "yes", well guess what, I'm missing my 10 piece. 36. Dollars, and no nuggets from my meal. I don't even know where to start. First, the bathrooms were horrifying - fences and urine all over the seat. Then, the food took forever, so many employees there - not many customers- yet still food took a long time. My favorite was the "gentleman" in the back. He first caught my attention by yelling "fuck you" to his coworkers. Then singing "I hate my dad for getting me this job" and the icing on the cake was when he said to someone that he is a "hard working man" as he was picking up food with his ungloved hand and stuffing it into his mouth - while on the line. There were a lot of employees - including what appeared to be a supervisor or manager. Nobody did anything? Stay away from this place. Something has changed at this location,and it wasn't the cooking oil.Upon opening the Crispy Chicken Sandwich the foul smell of rotten fish filled the car. I have recently been going to the drive thru at this location around midnight. The man who takes my order is extremely nice and one of the best employees I have ever dealt with at a McDonald's in my entire life. He will make me sausage mcmuffins, where as the other McDonald's in Pittsfield lies about it. They will tell me they don't serve breakfast until 7am, sometimes it's they don't serve breakfast until 4am, one time it was because they had to clean the equipment, etc. They are rude about it and do not reply after I say no thank you, I don't want anything then. So I stopped going there and the West Housatonic location will always make them for me. Not sure of the name of the employee but he appears to be biracial with short hair, I know, not much to describe the employee with. But he is fantastic and deserves a raise as far as I'm concerned. read more

I wasn't gonna argue over it I just ordered a whole new order and paid cash again! I also got my daughter hotcakes and my wife a mcgriddle and two coffees one large iced mocha and one medium Caramel The gentleman starts making hot coffees I explained that I wanted iced he tells me I didn't even know at this point I'm recording because I can tell that this guys got a chip on his shoulder so I explained to him that I did have an audio and video of it and that he's not gonna tell me I'm lying he got angry that I was recording told me he wasn't going to fix it I told him if they don't fix my order then I want a full refund he denied it and an employee from the back came to the front and said I don't explicit about this job don't test me your testing the wrong one and threatened to assault me I explained I don't care about all that I just want what I ordered either give me my money back or give me my coffee and my food The guy actually calls the cops on me and I have nothing to hide I've done nothing wrong I waited for the police the police explain to me even though they felt I wasn't wrong a business has the right to refuse service to anyone they want I said whatever took the food I paid for and left upon getting home I opened my sandwich find another problem even worse than before And I attached a picture with the receipt to show what I paid for this steak egg and cheese sandwich which is supposed to be substituted for a round egg had no steak on it and just cheese sauce and a bagel mind you I asked for no sauce and a substitute round egg they gave me the yellow egg and I felt he did this just out of spite because I was complaining I am disgusted that I just paid close to another $20 to days in a row and I got screwed both days and then they trust past me so I can't go back in there to dispute this I told them I was calling corporate they all laughed at me like they could care less this is not how you run a business and this is sure as hell not how you treat customers I should've never been told to go somewhere else if I don't like what I'm receiving I am the customer or you wouldn't have a business without customers I understand it may have been petty to make a complaint but I order what I order and I spend my money on what I want this guy should not be an employee never mind a manager and he needs to be reprimanded and my money needs to be given back or the situation needs to be rectified going to post the video on YouTube if it isn't fixed this week because clearly in the video I am not at wrong I was threatened assaulted and taken advantage of and you criminally took my money without giving me what I paid for Below I attached the first sandwich from yesterday with the burnt bagel and how gross it looked and then I attached a picture of today's sandwich with no meat LOL this place is a joke furthermore read more

So I just left this McDonalds. Worst experience of my life anywhere at any establishment and I lived in nyc and the Bronx for years. I had to wait for few minutes at the drive through which prompted multiple cars to start yelling at me like I did something wrong. I was just waiting. I thought maybe their kid had Tourette's syndrom or something but it turns out it was adults yelling and McDonald's manager was right there seeing the whole thing. They didn't say anything. They also messed my entire order up. When I got home I got hell from my family because it wasn't what we asked for. imagine full grown adults screaming because they couldn't get their food fast enough. This was the worst experience of my life and I took time aside from being a father to write this experience so maybe someone else won't be abused and threatened while just trying to buy their family dinner.
