This location doesn't feel safe or comfortable so beware of what's happening around you. Two customers came in and started fighting and screaming at eachother while I was waiting for my order on an early sunday morning. The staff was also super overwhelmed and busy and did not do much to better the situation. Luckily they took the fight outside, but that definitely increased my anxiety the longer it took for me to get my order. They do also offer drive thru so you do have that option to save yourself stress. In terms of the ordering process, I would not recommend ordering on mobile if you want a faster pickup. It seemed like the mobile orders were grouped with the delivery orders and it took about 15-20 minutes to actually receive my order whereas the walkin counter orders only took about half the amount of time. I ordered an iced coffee, hashbrowns, and an egg sausage breakfast sandwich. The food itself was pretty standard in terms of taste, but I was grateful that my hashbrowns came out fresh! read more

I was simply eating a mcdonalds cheese burger in the washroom, and accidentally dropped the scrumptious piece of art into the toilet bowl. When I went to retrieve my meal, to my surprise a snake bit and dragged the burger down the toilet. I said "not today" and reached my hand in, and grabbed the snake along with my burger. I gave them my order then they told me to pay for it. I already paid on the app. So I gave them my card and they charged me. They'd get 5 stars because everyone at the drive-thru is so pleasant and polite but the food is really not good for you. A lot of it is made from animal byproducts (never google what a "chicken McNugget" actually is) and is chock full of fat and sodium. Located across the street from the Northern Police Station (yet where I see drug deals openly brokered across the street), this McDonald's on a tough stretch of Fillmore has every excuse not to have such open and friendly employees whose attitude might be taken as a weakness to some of the thugs hanging out around the building. I'll very occasionally go through the drive-thru for McDonald's breakfast burritos. But I've promised myself to eat better and kick the rare guilty pleasure so you won't see any check-ins until spring. And then they'll just be one for another long stretch o' time- promise! read more

A lady goes through the drive through. It looks as though she could stand to loose a pound. Across the street 4 guys are trying to unlock a door on an older Toyota Avalon across the street with a slim jim. A guy walks in with two sealed Coronas in each hand. He goes to order something. A young man comes in with his girlfriend. She runs to the bathroom he orders a small drink. I notice he keeps a close eye on his girlfriend and his wallet as he pulls it out from his front pocket. As you can tell it probably is a good idea to keep your wallet in your front pocket here. I have a dessert and use the restroom - which is spotless by the way... The young lady at the counter couldn't have been more cheerful. A real nice smile in the middle of all the madness that walks in the door here. As I leave 15 minutes later they guys are still trying to unlock the Avalon. I'm sure they own it and are not trying to steal it. As I kept being unable to reach anyone at the Mcdonalds here by phone, I did something I've never done before, I put in a complaint with corporate as I know that in general, McDonalds does like to keep customers happy. Corporate got back to me by email a day or so later, and the next day I heard from the manager Tonia, by voicemail and then by text (which is a good thing cause I tried to call back and couldn't get anyone on the phone.)
