This is the worst costumer service I have ever gotten. Mauricio, which I think was the manager, was the one taking out order. As soon as I ordered 11 bigmac meals, he started getting very rude. We were ordering this for a large family event, and clearly he did not like the thought of making the large order. The ultimate sin: shortchanged me on fries. I ordered a large and they only filled the container halfway. I was a fool and didn't check the bag they handed me at drive thru until I got home or trust me, I would've handed the box back and made them give me the rest. This location also knows it's one of the most convenient so everything is pricier (mcchicken $1.89 before tax) and they charge for lettuce! Customer service training is needed at this McDonalds. The manager, Salvador was taking orders during the busy lunch time rush. I placed my small order of a McDouble and small fries, extra crispy. It came out approximately a dollar over the $2.50 McPick 2 menu. As such, I questioned the price discrepancy to Salvador who was taking my order. His response... "You didn't mention McPick 2, and it's a different price when you order it separately." My response... "I ordered straight off the McPick 2 menu." His response... "Doesn't matter, you ordered it separately." Huh? Really?! A simple order off the small McPick 2 menu and he couldn't put two and two together? I needed to say the magic words of 'McPick 2' to get the right price?! Is that good customer service to fault the customer?! That little extra effort of giving your customer the best value was too much work? Moving on, I picked up my receipt and noticed my order didn't say 'Fries well done' like I had ordered so, I mentioned it to him. His response... "They already know." How do they know? I didn't see him mention it to his staff. Less than ten seconds later he walks from the register and mentions my order number and says something in Spanish to his staff. Needless to say, when I received my order, I get limp lukewarm fries. It doesn't take that much effort to provide good customer service even if it's McDonalds with a customer who is placing a small order. Place yourself in the customer's shoes and consider if that is how you'd like to be treated. Good customer service training at this location is in dire need and it should start from the top. For a McD's, this place is pretty decent. Most McDonald's in the Bay area... in California... and heck, in most of America for that matter, are full of homeless bums, ghetto trash, and riff-raff. But NOT this McDonald's. We're talking smart IT nerds, nice Asian families, and old guys reading the newspapers from Hong Kong and Taiwan (in the mornings anyway). They also have free Wifi and a kids play area. They keep it pretty clean, but this McDonald's is in need of a remodeling for sure (remodeled like the one in Los Gatos. I come here often for breakfast and the service is OK. The mostly hispanic staff does a decent job, but many yelpers have commented that they can be rude (which is true). You'd think here in Cupertino, where Asian predominate, they'd have a few Asian employees or part time student types from the area. read more

Easily the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Unfortunately this is the closest McD to my house so I have a good sample size to base my decision off of. They will almost ALWAYS forgot something pertaining to your order, whether it be drink size, sauces, or items all together. When they do manage to get your order right the burgers will usually have dry and cracked buns, the hot items will be lukewarm at best (the double cheeseburger's cheese isn't melted and dry), and the items will all be sloppily assembled. I've been to this McDonalds throughout my childhood. The entrance and exit to this place has always been the most confusing. The drive through is consistent and it is clean on the inside. As for the food itself, you get what you order and it is as great as you expect. I walked in to order while another person was walking out and one of the employees told me only one customer at a time. I looked to my left and saw four employees sitting down at the same table eating together. I asked for a coffee refill and the employee behind the counter said that they don't do coffee refills anymore and that their coffee machine wasn't working. Is it bad to say that I like their chicken nuggets and fries that just come out of the fryer? Sometimes I can't finish their 6-piece chicken nuggets, and would prefer to just get the 4-piece chicken nuggets, but that only comes with a meal - small fries and soda. I don't drink soda, so I always end up getting the 6-piece chicken nuggets and medium fries. I'm quite sad that they don't carry honey anymore. :[ It went so well with the chicken nuggets! Another story: one time I ordered a hashbrown and sausage mcmuffin for breakfast, but my hashbrown was ice cold! Very strange since the hashbrown was supposed to come out of the fryer. I used to have an occasional lunch or dinner at this particular McDonald's because of its location. I'd always order at the drive up and on several occasions my order would be in error. That aside was nothing compared to a very serious bout of food poisioning that I suffered after eating at this McDonald's one year ago. I remember the filet o' fish sandwich that I ordered looked unusual. The slice of American cheese was very gummy mixed in the tartar sauce. The sandwich didn't taste quite right but not off enough to make me spit it out. Seven hours later while at home I felt faint and immediately kneeled down in my hallway. I made it to my bathroom with monumental abdominal cramps. For the next seven days I was completely deengerized. All I wanted to do was stay in bed. I've had flu viruses that never hit me like this bout of food poisioning. And this was the first time I ever suffered a case of food poisioning. When I was feeling better I wrote an email to this McDonald's explaining what I experienced and the unusual lookIng and tasting filet o' fish sandwich that I was served, and all that I got in return was a form letter email stating how this McDonald's strives to offer the freshest food, courteous service, bla, bla, bla. I sent a second email expecting some sort of personalized note, at least an apology, but this time I got no response at all. Needless to say that was my last/final visit to this McDonald's. read more

I come here 2-3 times a week on average (which is bad, I know..), and I don't remember ever receiving the wrong food item. Yummy Treat: Their ice cream cone is a lot more solid and they give you more (than say, the McDonald's on Prospect). Their service isn't perfect, but I don't expect that from a restaurant that offers 2-dollar meals. I had to make a second trip and drive back 6 miles and then they didn't apologize and again gave me another sandwich WITH meat.
