Horrible experience! Waited at the drive thru for over 2 minutes before anyone spoke. No one responded to me when I said Hello. Someone came on to take my order finally. I ordered a Big Mac, medium fries and a Shamrock shake. I go to pay for it and show them my "deal" on the Mc Donald's app offering free medium fries with the purchase of a Big Mac. They said that it would have to be charged separate. I told them that's how I ordered it, separately. So I pay and get to the food window, and they asked me if I had a Bacon Big Mac. I said no a regular Big Mac. I hand them the receipt and they said they would fix it. They fixed it quick and refunded me the difference. I get back to work to eat, and the Big Mac is just meat, cheese and the bun. No lettuce, Mac sauce or pickles. I am extremely frustrated. I guess I will have to communicate better next time. I am a regular customer to McDonald's and I was told by manager that I should try to get the heroes meal since i am a working nurse and we are always on the go. Slowest McDonald's in the country. Scott ought to be ashamed. Stopped by for breakfast saw that both lines in the drive thru were extended onto 17th street. I decided to use the lobby because I didn't want to eat the 45 minutes it takes to get through the drive thru. The general manager was working however, it seemed like EVERY employee was on there own sheet of music playing different genres at the same time. There was no leadership or management going on at all, the all looked as lost as the GM. Anyhow this visit only took me 30 minutes to get an egg McMuffin at 9:30 in the morning! The overall experience was consistent with what I expect from any McDonald's location. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. This store has 2 menu boards which helped speed up the drive-thru ordering process. Oddly drinks weren't offered which I imagine won't go over well with management. Tried going back to get the rest of my order they forgot but had closed the drive through. This has not been first bad experience. Drive thru gets really busy at times but they're fairly quick considering how many cars pull up. My orders have always came out correct. Place is nicely kept and clean. The women's bathroom were not very clean and did not have any paper goods to dry your hands. The hands free dryer offered in the ladies room did not work. So you may be left with having to ask for napkins (which are kept behind the counter) to dry your hands. The dining room was not very clean. It appeared as if the staff had wiped down or swept the floor (and my visit was at 9 am). All condiments (ketchup, jelly, coffee creamer, salt, sweetner etc) is kept behind the counter. You have to wait in line to ask for items to complete your meal. Probably best to use the drive thru as the food tasted like regular mc Donald's food. read more

This particular McDonalds just got a remodel. They now have two lines for drive through orders. I think they had to do this because sometimes the line would reach all the way to the street and block traffic on a very busy street. Well, unfortunately, the face-life did not improve the service. This place makes mistakes often. I do not recommend trying to get anything special at this store because there is about a 50 - 50 chance they will screw it up. For example, we went through the drive-thru on Suday morning as we were heading to Seal Beach for the morning. I ordered two sausage egg mcmuffins with no cheese. My intent was to eat the sausage and egg and not the muffin because I am on a low-carb diet. Well, there was quite a wait and the server said there was some issue with her manager and my order. I should have checked it, but we drove off because we needed to get moving. When I opened the first sandwich, I learned that no cheese evidently means no egg as well. I checked the receipt. It was accurate. So, where is my egg? What can I do? I ate the sausage and ended up going to a McDonalds in Seal Beach to get two more sandwiches so I would not be hungry all morning. So, I am disappointed with this McDonalds. The problem is that this is the closest one to my house and I like their breakfasts every once in a while. Also, my kids like happy meals.
