BE AWARE OF BAD SERVICE Be careful when going there for service or to buy a car. I attempted to by a car there in 2014 and again in 2018 and was very disappointed with sales guys that are trying to drag the process for hours. So I walked out and went to Brilianace Honda. The sales people are just as bad as service people. Recently I had oil change service and the the service tech wrote there is oil leaks and bad alignment all together like $7K+ of work. So first thing I went to Mavis where I got tires to check the alignment and they told me the car is fine and does not need alignment. Than I I took my car to my cousins shop so he can try to see what is going on with it. We both look along with one of his technicians and there was no leak. I took my auto back today 1-6-2023 to have them check the transmission and brake fluid to see if it was in fact changed. In my surprise they agreed with me and said it was not completed. They wanted to make things right and offered to complete the services. I declined and said I will do it myself at work. They also told me they fired the person who worked on my car. I will make this as simple as possible. Saturday, 6/01, was at this dealer shop. First, I would like to thank Jeremy, the internet guy. He was very helpful and very good at following up. Believe me, he is the reason we showed up, even though it was raining badly. I could have postponed it. When we arrived, we were greeted by this young gentleman named Ben D. One of the salespeople was very helpful and answered all our questions. There is no pressure on our side. He showed us the car and we tested it. After everything is done, He was able to help us negotiate the price within reason. To make a long story short, he is definitely an asset to this dealership. After everything, we were accompanied by Adam K. to his office, their finance manager. Oh boy! There was never a dull moment sitting with this guy. He is very friendly, makes a lot of jokes, and is honest. He is the perfect guy for this position. He definitely made our stay in his office stress-free. I have a CR-V Hybrid Touring edition, and the service department does nothing to solve problems. Just continually trying to sell you service that is not needed. They told my wife the differential fluid needed changing at 9800 miles. Are you kidding me? The car play on the radio is very unreliable; it works one time and not the next. What does the service department say? It must be your cable. A simple search on the internet will show that this is a known problem. I just do not trust McGrath Honda with my business. I brought my car in around May of this year for my a/c because it was blowing warm air, so they said they replaced the compressor and the condenser and when I got my car back, I noticed it was working intermittently. When I brought my car in for some scheduled maintenance about a week later I told the service advisor about it and he told me they are made to do that and there is a switch to turn it off but never showed me this "switch"! My vents get moist, which doesn't seem right. They didn't even bother to look in to it when my car was in for the scheduled maintenance. I also noticed when I got my car back the first time I had some pretty severe damage underneath my car. There was a big gash underneath next to my front driver side wheel, the wheel well was completely ripped off but was stuffed in to the edge so you wouldn't notice. It was as if someone ran over a big rock and reversed off of it. My front bumper is all scratched underneath. So I also brought this up to them as well and the technician came out and told me that I probably ran over a curb!! Ummmmmm I think if I did something like that I would definitely know it! I'm the only one who drives this car and I know for sure I did not do this to my car. They did replace the shield under my car but it is still damaged near the wheel and under the bumper. They sent me a survey and I completed it and told them my issues and months later still no one has reached out to me. So they took $3500.00 from me and I feel I was totally ripped off. I feel no respect was given to my car or my money and I certainly don't feel like the technician takes his job seriously. I had better expectations from a dealer and now I just feel sick about it. read more

McGrath was the first, AND ONLY, dealership to call, at 8:16am the following day! I remember the time because I was super impressed with the speed. I kept repeating to myself "the early bird catches the worm.....", and boy did McGrath catch it! It wasn't just one call I got. I got about 5 more including one while I was at the dealership. I tell her my husband is there it's not available. Horrible experience, they took advantage of an old man (my uncle) who speaks little English. After he decided on the car and put the deposit down they said the car needs to be repair and held his car hostage for over two weeks. He uses his car for work so at this point he has no income. I called after a couple of weeks of him getting pushed around and they said they didn't have the part to get the car fix and it's going to take another week. they called him instead of me and said the car would be ready the next day. When I called to ask what happened they said they "expiated the process". After picking up the car, he found that the AC is also broken so he had to paid an additional 1K get it fix. Very shady, would stay away! I felt that if I didn't call, he would still be waiting to get this car. I called the dealership about returning the car since there's so many issues and was left waiting around for a call back at least twice and no one ever call. read more

Incompetent is a compliment! Bought a "cerified" CRV hybrid. It was services x3 for electrical problems. They took it back claiming they didn't know the magnitude of the problem. I requested to have my deposit returned, closeout sale of lemon and never have yo hear or deal with Honda again. As it was on day 15 and the continuation of their refusal to return my deposit, i was backed into a corner and bought a brand new CRV hybrid. Both had been financed with Honda. Honda Finance has on record that I own both and have a payment coming due. I contacted x4 messages, as this could affect my credit and violation on federal fair trade law. A text response....the next day! My teenage son in a business class could do better!!!! In all my life, it is my biggest regret! They robbed me of a pleasant, fun experience in buying a new car and it's all I think of when I look at it. I have had 3 Odyssey's and love them and the new one I bought August 2023 is no exception. Amazing van. I purchased what I was told was a wireless charger for around $900 which was rolled into "accessories" in my loan which was for 48 months. I waited for the charger for a full month. When it came in I put my phone on the charger and the battery light turned Green but I noticed it never advanced past the percentage it was on when I placed it on the charger. I called service and was told to bring the van back in. I did and they said the "wireless charger" would not actually charge my phone, just "maintain" it. I asked what that meant and was told if the battery was at 50% and I put it on the charger it would keep it at 50%, not charge it to 100%. That is not what I was told I was buying for $20 a month more on my loan payment so I talked to the manager who said bring the van in again and they would take it out and give me a check for the amount I paid. I had it taken out and then was told that I would not get a check and they wouldn't be reducing my payment for the $20 I was paying for the charger I had returned, instead they would take the full amount off "the back end" of the loan. In other words I would get my refund in 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! My last payments would be reduced for the amount. I would pay interest on the charger for 4 years also. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in a long time. Buyer's BEWARE if you purchase any accessories and have them rolled into your loan and then return any, you will not get your refund until the very end of your loan and you will pay interest on the item you do not have. It is a total scam, in my opinion. read more

Weirdest experience at a car dealership I've ever had. My dad and I were going to all the different dealerships nearby and this became our last stop. First of all the lot is HUGE, but as we were driving in we couldn't find 1 new car in the whole lot... the only cars that were there were peoples owned cars waiting for service.. when we walked In the only show cars were minivans and the rest of the inside was practically empty.. they had us sit down with a sales man who just drilled us for information and asked us a bunch of questions.. granted I have never been to Honda, I had no idea what cars they even had to offer, I wanted to see all my options but they had no cars to show. Apparently the truck was there in the back with al the cars on it thag needed to be taken off the truck and scanned into the lot. We waited for 15 minutes while the sales man pulled around 1 car with all the factory stickers still on it, the car did not even turn on... it had not gone through inspection and he literally asked me if I wanted to take it on a test drive..... noway.. that was the only car he said he had to take out at that moment.... We decided to leave but we're begged to talk to the manager before leaving.... We agreed.. waited an additional 10 minutes for what reason? Not sure.. the manager proceeded to ask us questions, and honestly it was just a big joke. YOU HAVE NO CARS. I will never go back there again. What a waste of time read more

Great Purchase Experience that Keeps Giving! I brought my 2018 Honda Accord Sport in for my oil change and I must say that the service department is on point with quality customer service. My service advisor Guillermo congratulated me on approaching my 3yrs of ownership and asked how the purchase has treated me. He not only greeted me within a timely manner but made sure to keep me filled in on the status throughout as they were really busy during my visit. He offered me a drink and I must say I have yet to have a bad experience with the service department and or employees for that matter. So my hatred of McGrath continues. Not only was my last lease experience in nightmare in 2019 for a myriad of reasons, mostly that they mishandled and screwed up the internal paperwork, I'm now waiting over 2 months to get my check from Hyundai who I sold that car to who won't release the funds to me because they're waiting on the title from Honda. When I followed up with Honda to get an understanding of what the problem was they told me they had to order a duplicate title because of the mishandled paperwork by McGrath back in 2019. I was a McGrath customer for years and I would rather walk to work everyday or take public transportation than ever buy another car from them. I'm more than done, they are absolutely morons. Such a pleasure to walk into a Hyundai dealership and be treated so respectfully and have the deal go through smoothly. I'm so glad to be rid of both Honda and McGrath. And my kids will no longer buy cars from there either so that's 3 of us they lost, too bad so sad. I know they really don't care, but I care. I care that they screwed up my deal, I care that they were rude to me during the whole process and I care that now I no longer have that car nor do I have the check for the profit from the sale because of their incompetence. I should be when I went back to the dealership in 2019 that everything was fixed, the VIN numbers were straightened out the title was fixed, well guess what it wasn't. I wish more people would just run from them. So many better dealerships out there, this place is a train wreck. It used to be good, it stopped being good a long time ago. intentionally dishonest...bought several cars from this dealer my wife took my 2013 pilot in for normal service and asked them to replace front drivers map lite. was told entire assembly woukd need to be replaced for over $300! she questioned them and the service writer was very condescending. I went on you tube found video of how to do it myself. then went to Amazon bought kit complete with tool for $8.99. I worry the dealer woukd change bulb same way and charge this much. you have to check everything. I know dealers are recovering from the pandemic but this is nothing more than intentional rip off. I didn't even bother to call service manager as it's likely this person in on the scam. I'm putting it here to help others being ripped off by these people. the kit included bulbs and switches for all the lights as led. better white light but you must pay attention to bulb polarity. if it doesn't work first time reverse bulb position. read more
