I've passed this place many times, this was my first time. They must have new owners or staff. It was a Friday morning and the place was pretty empty. We ordered a Spanish omelet with no mushrooms in it and bacon and eggs with rye toast. For some reason it took quite a long time for the food to come out. The Spanish omelet had mushrooms in the sauce on top. My friend gave them to me. The toast seemed very dry and barely buttered. I don't recall if it came with juice. But it didn't come with the meal. So when we could catch the lone waiter's attention we asked for more butter. The portions were sufficient and for the two of us it came to $16. Most waitstaff usually come around asking how the meal is? Or if the customer wants their coffee, topped off. We were almost finished when the waiter asked if we wanted more coffee. Too late, now. The place is clean, even the bathroom.

    Not what I ordered

People do yourself a favor don't order from this dump, the girl on the phone hung up on me at first so I had to call back, so the I ordered a "toasted sandwich" with bacon white pudding and an egg over easy, this is what was delivered, 2 slices of cold bread, 4 pieces of pudding and 2 eggs, I don't even think I need to say anything else.

OJ cup next to a standard credit card.

I've gone twice now, and won't be going back a third. The food is subpar at best for the price and the service is bare bones.

Rory Dolan was very gracious and accommodating, rearranging tables to accommodate the group. We had a section in the upper dining area to ourselves. There's an extensive adult beverage menu, with of dozens of beers on tap and on ice, wines, and liquors. See photos. The food menu had the expected Irish fare; shepherds pie, salmon, corned beef, and cabbage, etc. There were some Italian inspired appetizers and mains, even Korean flavors. Everyone ordered whatever they wanted off the regular menu. Service was impeccable, the restaurant has an inviting ambience. I noticed there were a lot of "regulars" there this particular afternoon. They have a spacious bar and restaurant area, that is conveniently located on McLean Ave. It is a lively space but the decor and dark wood make it seem more like a historic location. I would definitely order this again. Can't wait to stop back in.

They were attentive and professional throughout the three hour party. We had about 55 people attending, and not one of them left without commenting on how great the experience was. The bar service was fast moving and friendly - nobody waited for drinks - and there was nothing requested that wasn't available. The food was awesome. We had penne vodka, shrimp scampi and rice, chicken francese, salad, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, shepherds pie, mixed veggies, and garlic mashed potatoes. Plenty of dipping sauces and dressings were available. The food was incredible - the shepherds pie was especially amazing - everyone got up for seconds. Eileen (the owner) was very friendly, we had a chance to speak to her when we were starting the party. She beautifully runs this business and it's apparent in everything from the cleanliness, to the decor, to the quality of food and drink, and customer service provided by the staff. We'll recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a party and will 100% return here for our future events.

When we brought this up to our server, she claimed she wasn't aware of the offer, and we ended up paying full price for everything. Overall, it was a frustrating and disappointing experience, with very poor customer service.

It was post-Thanksgiving and they had roast turkey and sides--pretty decent as well--again, good portion for the price--I might have been a little turkeyed out at that point, though.
