A $1300 new toilet installation. His cheapest? We buy a new toilet and he installs it for $400. I did a little poking around and fixed the issue for a $11 flush tank ring. I posted a comment on JIT's webpage and no one bothered to reach out. I wonder how many people that plumber has scammed out of significant money. Add another - as he was leaving, he remarked that we didn't have a pressure regulator on our incoming water line - I told him we did have one but we had it removed - and then he started low-key arguing with me saying he didn't see any evidence one ever existed. I remember when Justin had a small business and he was awesome. Be wary now, their plumber appear to have a reason to upsell as much as they can. Not the kind of plumber I want to deal with.

When he came out, he did another fireplace sweep and also repaired cracks in both the exterior and interior of my fireplace. He took the time to carefully inspect everything and honestly told me those additional services the other company recommended were not necessary. I really appreciated his honesty and not trying to take advantage of the situation. His pricing is very fair, and his work is excellent. I called them to inspect my Samsung washer that electronics were on the fritz. There was a mixup with the serial # so samsung wanted nothing to do with it. I also called other local repair shops, and they literally ghosted me. Apparently finding parts for these things is a royal pain if you do not have direct access to samsungs inventory. MD Tech were the only people willing to take the initiative on this job. They conducted their initial inspection, and located the part for me. Now, the cost of the part was so high I decided to forego repair and just buy a new damn washing machine. But I really like the initiative and eagerness MD Tech had when addressing my problem. I remembered this when a month later my freezer ice machine broke. Their Tech came out and fixed it during the initial inspection. They're good, capable, timely and responsive. I called MDTECH to see if they could help with my Samsung fridge loosing cooling in both the freezer and fridge.. The time I called was about a day or two before CHRISTMAS! I called several other places and they were either booked or could see me sometime after Christmas.. They were able to come out the next day and fix the issue.. MDTech is the appliance repair company we will be using again in the future. We had a small leak from our washing machine so I scheduled an appointment to have a technician come to diagnose the problem. Serge not only came during the time period I was given, but he texted us in advance that he was on his way and when to expect him. He returned a second time after we had more evidence where the water was coming from, diagnosed the problem and made the repair. I had scheduled the second appointment with Paul, which I then had to cancel and reschedule, and it was all handled very professionally. MD came out the same day we called. The gentleman that came out was nice however, he spent 50% of his time on the phone with? It was not his office. He was very vague and did not explain what was going on. Needless to say, the home warranty company sent someone else out to troubleshoot my fridge. After a test and a 3rd visit the Home warranty company bought us a new fridge. Meantime our food spoiled and we lost over $100 of groceries. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our leaking dishwasher and showed us the part that needed to be replaced and described the steps to fix it. He even showed us an online video of the part and the issue we were experiencing. Needless to say he was an expert on the problem and promptly fixed it for us. My KitchenAid refrigerator had stopped cooling in the refrigerator compartment because the evaporator fan that circulates cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator had failed. The technician showed up on time, explained everything in a way that actually made sense, and found out that the problem wasn't the washer at all. Turns out a rat had chewed one of the internal wires. Instead of trying to upsell me or tell me I needed a whole new machine, they fixed it quickly and for way less than I was expecting. They literally saved me from buying a new washer for no reason.
