I had the crab & shrimp tray with LA pepper flavor with rice cakes and veggies. * The tray comes out with the fire on beneath it so it is extremely hot. * The flavor was delicious. * The crab is too small to get any real meat out of it. * The shrimp still have the shell on it so it takes a little bit of effort to eat * The owners/servers did not speak any English, but luckily there were two customers who translated for me. * The tray is $40 and the add-ins run from $2-$5 Although the flavor was good, it wasn't enough food or worth the $60 I spent. read more

Honestly, they do have authentic Chinese food, but the price is way too much for the stuff they offered. This place is pretty amazing! We came here for the fish but everything else we tried are also delicious!! The restaurant upgrade their menu and it's so much better and diverse than before. The lamb skewers are so yummy! All the bbq we tried are just awesome!! Service is also a plus! Also like their music and the nice layout. Highly recommend and definitely will come back more times! Originally from SGV, been trying to find a good food spot that can come close to satisfying my cravings for some good Asian flavors in Riverside to cope with school stress and this place is it! Whether to eat during the daytime or nighttime, this place can't go wrong. I love the way they season their meats, very fragrant and not overly salty. My go to is the beef skewers and the way it is cooked with the seasoning is so good and would highly recommend. If you want a drink to go with it, I would also recommend their lemon tea because it is not that sweet and has a good lemon balance with the tea if you are familiar with HK lemon teas. read more

The worst food I have ever had in my life. Ordered the squid skewers, pork belly, dumplings, and KBBQ ribs. The flavor was interesting and definitely not edible. Server was sweet felt horrible for her she agreed the menu is misleading and was apologetic. She explained the menu was different than what we ordered. The manager didn't speak English much but I can tell you she probably had nothing nice to say after we complained (mind you we pulled her to the side instead of doing at the table as other customers were there) was being erratic talking in her native language. We were charged excluding the KBBQ because it just came out and we touched the other food. Point blank food was interesting and not in a good way. Will not return and would never recommend this to anyone! Do not go off the menu online. She even removed the menu off the door after we complained and agreed it's not the same. Absolutely fantastic! We found this gem on our way back from snowboarding in Big Bear. So authentic that the menu was really difficult to understand and the waitress barely spoke English. That's okay, we both got out our Google Translate apps and figured it out together. All of the food that we ordered was delicious. The restaurant is kinda hard to find (in a strip mall on the street) and parking is weird (off to the far left or off to the far right), but it's definitely worth it. We ordered: lamb skewers, squid skewers, bok choy with shitaki mushrooms, moo shoo pork, mixed fried rice, mango iced tea, kiwi iced tea, and hot tea. My favorite was the squid skewers and mixed fried rice (made with sticky rice). The squid skewers reminded me of the street vendors from Beijing. All of it was heavenly. FYI, the mango and kiwi iced tea were not milk teas aka boba, so you have to specify if you want the boba type tea, but they were still pretty tasty. Please make the extra effort to visit this place, you won't regret it. read more

Seriously, way too much MSG and too salty, made us so thirsty after eating their fish. I knew other greedy cats use fresh fish but this one doesn't, at least not for our order, not even a killed on they same day fish. Overpriced! It's supposed to be a 3 lbs fish but it wasn't! And not much toppings either! Made the same fish at home and it was less than half of their price! Dirty! Cups and tables are sticky! This is the place that deserve more costumer! It's quite small and cozy for a Saturday night. The waiter doesn't speak English but he still tries his best to communicate with me. He works all alone to get me the food, clean the table, and he even makes sure that i have everything I need. How does this place only have 7 reviews?!? This place is absolutely delicious. The $40 seafood monstrosity you get served is all made fresh and will feed your entire family. The sauce/broth is pure goodness and varies in spiciness depending on how much you can handle. Being a sissy myself, we ordered the crab and shrimp platter with moderate sauce. You have a choice of additions including glass noodles, rice cakes (highly recommend), or other veggies. I was lucky enough to venture here with my Mandarin speaking bestie, but both the server and owner are fluent in English and were the absolute sweetest. Water cup was never ever empty and the sweet woman noticed how much I scarfed down the rice cakes and brought over some more free of charge. The restaurant is close to UCR and I would highly recommend bringing some extra friends to help you eat the enormous portions. Really fun plaza with hookah lounge, dessert, and college hangout favorites! If you're craving fresh seafood...come try this place out! read more

Rather expensive ($40 each fish), but quality of the fish and sauce is very tasteful. We got Seattle sauce and got their second level of spicy and it was overwhelmingly spicier than we thought. This place is amazing. The food tastes absolutely authentic and delicious; I say this in a native Chinese perspective. Another thing to be aware of when going this restaurant is the language. The owner only speak mandarin but he is a really patient and nice guy. Try to be respectful and tolerant while ordering your food; it might take a bit time for the food to be served because the owner also cook the food himself. I feel bad that there is barely any people come to this place due to many cultural and language factors. Please keep in mind, we all encounter obstacles when living in a foreign counties; so please be nice to those who do not speak your language. Definitely one of the most authentic restaurants in the area. The ordering process is a bit confusing if you don't speak Chinese. Basically you pick your protein first, either shrimp/crab, catfish, and other seafoods. Then you pick the kind of sauce you want, I'm not too sure what Seattle or San Francisco flavors are so I just got the mala (numbing spicy) flavor. The fish is very tasty and the portion sizes are HUGE. They also have various grilled items like lamb, beef, chicken and squid. The lamb skewers are one of the best ones I've had in the area and definitely a must try. We originally wanted the tilapia, but the server said they only had catfish and he said the catfish is actually a better option because of the easy to pick out bones. We got the mala spicy catfish with potatoes and bean sprouts, and it was so much food for two people. We brought back the rest of the food to eat later on. If you don't speak Chinese, they do have a written English menu so don't be afraid to try it! (Bring a Chinese friend just in case though.) read more

The only thing that bugged me was biting into the fennel or spices in the stew. And there was a bunch of tofu under the fish . Not a fan of tofu so will have them take out next time.
