the rice did not have flavor overall the food was disgusting. the worker was work. i paid 28$ for a plate that was gross. My friend marc he ordered 6 sandwiches shawarma and there was no chicken but 3 pieces the bread was hard the food tastes like nothing, and filafol sandwich was plain no vegetables overall bad food. read more

I've been here two times recently getting the same thing - the Chicken Tawouk Grill which comes with 8 pieces, Saffron Rice, Pita Bread, Pickles and Vegetables, and Tahini Sauce. We had the Mega-Platter - taste of all the meats- tenderloin was perfectly cooked, juicy n delish, chicken was a terrific flavor (yogurt marinade?), the lamb was great, and the donner delish. Such a cute and cozy place. They offer reservations for large parties and the dining room is a perfect size. The gyro portions are exceptional! Quantity and quality for as little as $9. Four of us enjoyed Sunday brunch, well served by Lovetee. Seated on the patio, she treated us like guests in her own home. Food: Excellent reviews on each of the entrees by all four of us, all of whom have frequented the multiple middle eastern fare places in Tucson. The complimentary appetizer preceding generous portions of the entrees ordered, left us happily sated with two of us going home with uneaten portions. I was smart to order babaganoush 'to go' which I just enjoyed with the remainder of my lamb gyro. Ambiance: Even though one is looking out onto the strip mall's parking lot or Prince Road, the patio is pleasant and the restaurant set back far enough from Prince that the traffic noise bother us. This is one of the most traumatic experiences I've ever had a restaurant. We had to call the police because the owner was threatening and screaming profanities. A young girl is completely unacceptable. The police had to be called and the police advised us to leave please think twice about going to this place if you are curious a police report was made and I will be following up. First experience picking up takeout wasn't great... wrong salad that was finally replaced with a bit of encouragement. Then got home to find no pita with the baba-ghanoush (which is very tasty). We ordered Med Cuisine for pick up and the whole experience was amazing. You call in your order, they call and text you when it's ready, and you get your order through their drive through pick up window. We ate it all so fast I forgot to take photos! The Lamb Gyro was super flavorful and the meat was tender, the pita and veggies were very fresh. It was a perfect combination! The chicken was also delicious and well marinated served with perfectly cooked saffron rice and I topped it off with a creamy garlic sauce. I also loved the french fries, crispy and crunchy without being greasy or heavy. We finished the meal with Pistachio Baklava, they were flaky and sweet. Probably the best Mediterranean food I've ever had in town. It was a reasonable price for a lot of food. The staff working the drive through was super friendly and attentive to detail making sure we had all sides and sauces, excited to try different dishes when we return again and hope to dine in on their patio one day! read more

Had dinner here for the first time Saturday night. Loved sitting on the patio. It's set up nicely so you do t feel like you're on a main road. Service was excellent and we we're delighted with the ma'am being brought out during dinner and the delicious appetizer pita, pita chips, hummus and marinated pickles! Dinner was excellent! I love Mediterranean food and Med Cuisine is close to my home. We ordered lamb gyros and a chicken gyro. They had more meat than I've ever seen on a gyro. I couldn't finish mine. My suggestion is to add more sauce and goodies. Then I could give it 5 stars. Fries were ok. Guy at the drive through was very nice. Next time I go I'll order something yummy with hummus. My husband and I live on the Northwest side of Tucson and drove all the way here for take out. There is no good Mediterranean food restaurants by us. The one minutes from our house(terrible food) will cost you $90 for two people! Yes. I'm serious. The food here was awesome and good size portions as well. And the backlava, OMG! Unreal good! BUT... two issues. First, for paying a piece of backlava I got a "bite", an actual bite. It's like they threw a broken piece in the bag but charged me full price. Here is the big problem. When they were coming to the window to hand the food to my husband they dropped it all over their kitchen floor. I understand it's an accident but we had to wait 20 min for everything to be re made. Where's the discount or free pita, maybe more backlava??? Very tacky on their part. read more

It was great. We were given a welcome plate which was unexpected but really good. The servers were friendly and welcoming. It took a bit to get our food but we were informed it was because they make the tzatziki fresh in house and they ran out so they had to make more. It's understAndable. Falafel and hummus are delicious. I don't eat meat but everyone I have joined who orders the kababs say they are fantastic. I wish their fattoush salad had less raw onion, more cucumber, tomatoes, toasted pita, sumac. Feels like a lettuce and onion salad. Hookah available if you'd like. Oof. We ordered the lamb gyro plate and chicken kebab plate. The chicken was inedible. It was burned in parts, dry, and overly seasoned. If it were a blind taste test, I don't think I would have been able to identify the food in my mouth. The lamb gyro meat was edible but very dry. Tasted like all the food had been under a heat lamp for most of the day. Rice rubbery. Really, just awful. The hummus and pita were ok. read more
