We went on a Saturday night, the ambiance and service were amazing. I enjoyed the vegan pizza and the vegan cheesecake dessert. I would recommend it and will be back.

Ok first we need to talk about this chocolate pie. It looks deceiving, I wasn't sure if I would like it when it came to the table because the topping looked so thick. But I am not kidding when I say this chocolate pie might be my favorite food? Not just pie in general or my favorite of this menu but like actually my favorite food I've ever eaten. Otherwise, we also had dinner (lol) which was really delicious. I had the butternut squash risotto which was fairly sweet, I got it without the goat cheese which probably would've added a saltier element to it. My fiancé got the lasagna and noted he could not tell it was GF which is a BIG compliment from him, and he cleared his dish. The focaccia with the appetizer was warm and bouncy. All the staff were really friendly and the restaurant was warm and cozy with Christmas lights up on a cold fall night. Mediterranea is the hands down winner of GF dining in the metro! What an absolute treat!

Mediterranea is not your ordinary Mediterranean restaurant if you're thinking basic kababs or falafel. It is a restaurant that gives you as close to a Mediterranean experience through food and drink as possible. The menu is so carefully curated with GF meat, vegetarian and vegan options that will wow almost any foodie. Thanks to this menu, it makes a great spot for groups with diverse eating needs. We started with the Brussel sprouts appetizers which was shaved and delightfully seasoned. A very nice departure from the oil bombs that many restaurants serve. I would suggest a balsamic glaze to improve. We ordered the focaccia as well bc how often can you find GF bread service? It was fluffy but dry even with the olive oil. My husband suggested that it be paired with a dipping sauce to improve the dryness. There were so many plant based options to choose from that I was giddy bc there was more than just a boring salad option. Even if youre not vegan or vegetarian, if youre looking for light fare or healthy options, Definitely try the lentil stuffed zucchini with the balsamic and tanning glazes. My husband ordered the chicken dish and tried mine and thoigh he enjoyed his dish he even admitted my was better. We ordered 2 cocktails bc even that menu has imported liquors from the Mediterranean that neither of us have ever heard of. Service was very friendly. We will definitely return for another date night.

This is my new fav restaurant in Atlanta. I can't believe they've been open so long and I hadn't heard of it. Everything is absolutely delicious. I have a huge sweet tooth so I was skeptical about the gluten free desserts but they were just as good as everything else! Also, they have a plenitude of non-alcoholic beverage options which I love.

Delicious! We sat on the rooftop at sunset and it was beautiful! Food: spinach/mushroom lasagna and the eggplant stack (both amazing). Service was nice and calm. Drink: limoncello spritz

From the lamb hummus, to the grilled veggies, the chicken kebob to the rack of lambs- everything was truly delectable!!!! Ofc we couldn't skip on dessert. So, on yet another day of my wife and I having no idea what we wanted to have for dinner we decided…read moreto let Google be our guide. Google pointed us to Yalda and I might be letting Google pick my restaurants for the forseeable future. Let's get into it! Location and Parking Yalda is located the bustling Aria Village in Sandy Spring, which is a small retail center that is home to quite a few businesses. Yalda offers valet parking or you can self-park for free in the garage. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant was appropriately crowded on a Thursday night. It was warm that day so we opted to sit on the patio, which was almost full. The interior is beautiful. There's a semi-open kitchen - with a good view of the flames. The vibe teetered on between elevated and casual, either way you'd definitely fit in. Food and Drinks For drinks, my wife had the Mitra's Habibi which is a gin based cocktail and as always I stuck with bourbon had the Midnight Star. We started with the hummus and the Za'atar Labneh, both which were very good. The star of the show was the Soltani kabob we shared. It was marinated to perfection and cooked over the open flame. The basmati rice was fragrant and flavorful and paired nicely. We also shared the Shirazi salad, which added.a refreshing feel to the entree. Service Service was great. Our servers were professional and attentive. Verdict Always a lover of Mediterranean food, Yalda has definitely earned a customer in me. If you're ever in Sandy Springs pay them a visit. Until next time!

The spices in the rice were overpowering and my partner didn't enjoy it as much. The potatoes were extra crunchy and a bit burnt... unsure if it was overdone or on purpose. It smelled like was it cooked in coconut oil. I would say 7 out of 10 overall. The lamb neck was recommended by the waiter. It was really good, slow cooked and the meat was tender. The sauce was unremarkable. The waiter gave us a house made spicy sauce and made this dish significantly better. I would say 9/10 overall. The hummus with the pickled mushroom was amazing. It was topped off with truffle oil and I just couldn't keep my hands off of it. I would say 10/10. I just want to point out the bill had a notice that says "tips are based on check prices after taxes" was confusing and unsure why would company charge tips on top of taxes. Our waiter was amazing so we didn't mind paying the extra but it really made us wonder about the company policy.

The two women that were working the front were excellent and they helped me along trying to make my decision. They were super nice and friendly and definitely worth speaking to because of their friendly demeanor . Everything I've had here has been great, absolutely amazing. I'm really hard on Mediterranean food only because where I grew up it was easy to find Mediterranean food because so many people from that side of the world put roots there. Finding some good chicken shawarma was easy. I haven't actually found a lot of that around the Atlanta area but there are a few good ones. This one is solid and did not miss. I loved it and I would definitely go back. Chicken shawarma (platter) - so the platter comes with two sides and an entrée. Everything was good. The chicken shawarma was very good and flavorful and it was super tender and I love that because it wasn't like it was sitting there all day. It was something I would definitely go back for. I may even get a wrap next time but the actual platter served me really well and it was great. roasted potatoes - my first side was potatoes and it's hard to mess up roasted potatoes. You just season it and stick it in the oven I guess but either way they were very moist and you got plenty of them. They were seasoned very well Grilled veggies - the grilled veggies were pretty good. I mean I have nothing to complain about. They were vegetables and they were seasoned as well so nothing wrong with that but they were just vegetables. It's not like it was a main course kind of situation but for a side they were a really good side choice . Creamy chicken soup - now let me get to the star of the show. This soup is amazing to me. I don't know what it is about it. Maybe it has something in it but it is amazing. I could actually get a big bowl of it and call it a day. The soup is creamy and savory and has bits of the chicken in there so it's also seasoned very well. I don't know what it is about this soup but this soup is gold to me. In any event yes I liked everything I got, yes I would go back, yes the soup is amazing, all the things LOL. They have a rosemary chicken that is supposed to be the best seller but I didn't come for that. I would definitely try that next time. I was very satisfied with what I got!

From the moment I walked in, Kameel made me feel welcome. His energy is contagious, and he genuinely engages with every customer, making everyone feel like family rather than just another order. That level of hospitality is hard to find and really sets this place apart. I ordered their best-selling Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The halal, hormone-free chicken breast was perfectly seasoned with Turkish spices, grilled with sweet white onions, and wrapped with creamy hummus, smoky baba ghanoush, fresh cabbage salad, tabouli, and tahini in their homemade wrap. Every bite was packed with fresh, vibrant flavors, and the portion was surprisingly generous. For dessert, I couldn't resist the Pistachio Baklava, and I'm glad I didn't. The flaky filo layers were filled with pistachios and lightly sweetened with organic maple syrup instead of refined sugar. Combined with 100% olive oil and a hint of rose water, it was rich without being overly sweet and made for the perfect ending to the meal. What I also appreciate is Aviva's commitment to quality and healthy eating. They cook exclusively with 100% extra virgin olive oil, use halal, hormone- and antibiotic-free meats, fresh local produce, and avoid processed ingredients. They also offer vegan and gluten-free options while taking care to prevent cross-contamination, making it an inclusive place for people with different dietary needs. The restaurant itself is clean, organized, and inviting. While the prices are a little higher than some food court options, the quality of the ingredients, generous portions, outstanding service, and incredible flavors make it well worth every dollar. Unfortunately, we did have a very disappointing experience regarding my daughter's Louis Vuitton bracelet. When we arrived, she was wearing the bracelet, and we later looked back at the photos we took that evening. The photos clearly show that she had the bracelet on her arm when we were seated. She never left the table or changed seats, yet in photos taken later, the bracelet was no longer on her wrist. Because it was late at night and the restaurant was closing, we believe the bracelet may have been lost at the table while we were dining. We contacted the restaurant afterward, but unfortunately, we were told that no one had found it. This was extremely disappointing, especially because when you dine at a reputable restaurant, you expect that if a valuable personal item is found, the staff or another guest will make every effort to return it to its owner. We understand that accidents happen and that items can be misplaced, but the fact that the bracelet was clearly with her when we arrived and disappeared while she remained seated at the table is very concerning. We truly enjoyed the food and the service, which makes this situation even more disappointing. We sincerely hope the restaurant will take another look into the matter and speak with the staff who were working that evening.

The thing I honestly enjoyed most was the complimentary bread and sun-dried tomato dip, which has gotten a number of shoutouts of Yelp already.
