The only flaw, in my opinion, is how loud the music tends to be. I understand that this business is oriented towards casual dine-ins and not intended to be a pure study spot, but sometimes the music is too overbearing that it's hard to converse or listen to our own devices. Went on 1/3/25 at about 7:30pm to place an order. Service was super slow. It tooks 30 mins to get to order from the self kiosk and additional more than 30 mins to get my order ( 1 winter melon tea, 1 hot tofu pudding and 1 original egg waffle) I sat right where they call the number and I waited until 8:45pm then I went to ask them how much longer my order takes. They said they are waiting for 1 more thing which surely they handed me my order right away I didn't see they add anything in. When they handed it to me the waffle was cold in a box and my drink . Apparently my order was sit there for awhile but they didn't call my number. I asked them why didn't they give me my waffle and drink first or wait until to make the waffle last because now the waffle all cold and hard. CAUTION!!!!! We are so disappointed with Meet Fresh. They are so dishonest. This is the third time they messed up our order. 1) my last review awhile back - they did not add fresh milk to my taro milk tea while they charged us more. The owner told us we need a receipt so she could work w us. A picture with the drink and the order label doesn't work. 2) i ordered through their app on sept (picture of receipt). They messed up toping for hot grass jelly order. Didnot give us our cold jelly order and our ube drink. My husband had to drive 20 mins back to the store. They blamed on the POS system and online system didnot sync. 3) My husband went in to order in person today. They didnot give us our hot jelly order (but charged us). They also didn't not add black boba to our strawberry smoothie (but also charged us). My husband was going to take it back but they are closed now. I can understand 1-2 times that orders got messed up but 3 times seem like they are intentionally cheating on their customers. I'm always impress with the desserts and drinks here! With Covid, they have the option to online order or in store. They took your number and text you when the order is ready! Sometimes they have only have 1 employee taking orders an making them, not a big deal, it must be a slow day! My favorite is always Icy Grass Jelly Signature but I'm branching to other types now. My friends and I have a tradition to go to meet fresh every time we meet and each time, it hits. We always get the Signature Icy Grass and it has got the texture and taste. The jelly has this slight herbal taste to it which works great with the creamer that you add while the ice underneath has a slight thai tea taste to it. Then you have the mochi on top that adds a chewy texture to the icy and jelly components of the dessert. There are two self-order kiosks and when your order is ready, they'll call out your number on your receipt. We tried the oolong milk tea and the wintermelon with lemon, both were okay. The oolong milk tea was a bit on the lighter side and not as roasted as I hoped. The tea definitely had a very strong lemon flavor. I would probably skip on drinks next time and just go for the shaved ice bowls! Only downside here is the menu. I love options but that was super overwhelming trying to decide which bowl to get. This is excellent for lactose intolerant people to enjoy milk teas. They don't allow substitutions. You have take ask to remove stuff, but your item will be the same price. However, you can add anything to your order and ask for "open food item" to have it on the side. I always get extra herbal jelly ice or extra ice even though their stuff is not too sweet. We got Mangoberry shaved ice in size medium, good for 3 people! Depending on how much you eat ! This is so refreshing to eat on a hot summer day! It will definitely cool you down. I've been a fan of this chain for several years now since they started expanding in SoCal because of their big yet refreshing shaved iced bowls. I usually split an iced grass jelly signature bowl with someone (with extra taro balls), but lately I've been opting for a milk tea and plopping down at their cafe for a few hours to get some work done. I want to keep this a secret, but it's honestly one of the quietest places around with plenty of comfortable seating and plugs (and of course free Wi-Fi). They also provide phone chargers if you forget to charge your phone or are running low on juice. And if not to study, it's the perfect spot to meet and catch up with friends or a group outing. Best thing is they close at 10PM on the weekends, including Sunday! They also serve bubble waffles here and a few small savory bites if desired. This is one of those places with a very diverse menu, and can be a hit or miss depending on what you order. I have never been a big fan of Taiwanese desserts in the past so I never had much urge to try this place. I only tried it to entertain my kids, but now I'm a fan. My favorite so far is Almond Soup with Tofu Pudding. It's a very comforting dessert served warm with house tofu. The tofu texture was very smooth and silky, and almond soup had just the right sweetness. You can add additional toppings but I just kept it simple. Signature Icy Grass Jelly is one of the most popular items here but I've never been a fan of this item because I don't like the herbal taste of grass jelly. I tried similar item at Sweethoney Dessert and wasn't a fan of it either. I did like the taro balls that came with this dessert though. Egg Pudding with Boba was good, although portion was very small. It tasted just like egg pudding you get as a topping at boba places but just presented better.
