I feel like this place is underrated. Every time I visit, it's packed with families, teens, and adults alike. They do Taiwanese desserts really well, and honestly, I don't know anywhere else that compares. My go to drink is the Herbal Tea Fluffy Ice with a cream top, and the almond flavor Taiwanese shaved ice is another favorite of mine.

I say this every time because it's true .. desserts after dinner is always essential! Parking: There's a medium/large parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. We visited late at night, so it was a bit trickier. Ambiance/Environment: We visited a quarter till 9pm, and it was poppin. Every indoor table and seat was full. It's very casual and family friendly. The tables do need a cleaning though. The table we were at was sticky and full of crumbs. We stayed till 11pm, and it was still poppin. Service: We self ordered through the kiosks. They were extremely busy, so throughput took long. We waited about 25 min for our drinks and bubble waffle. Dessert & drinks: I've always gotten their signature puddings. That's what they're best known for - hot desserts. Though, I wanted to try something different. 1) Fluffy Thai Tea w/ Mini Q - I had high hopes for their new Thai series. I thought it tasted okay .. the tea wasn't as strong as I preferred. It was very sweet, so I suggest adjusting the sweetness level. The foam was thick, and the mini pearls tasted as expected. 2) Matcha Egg Waffle - Rather than getting my usual, I tried their egg waffles. The matcha flavor came through. The egg waffle texture and taste was as expected. Can't mess up a classic waffle. The ice cream, red beans, and jelly paired well with it. Pricing: Prices have gone up over the years, and honestly I don't blame them for operating in this economy. I'd definitely come back for their signature desserts!

Worst MeetFresh location ever!!!!! I can't believe I saw Krak Boba next door and thought "nah I want real boba" and ended up with this overpriced watery soup. I ordered Fresh Milk / Boba Tea 1/2 sweet and it's the worst 1/2 sweet milk tea I've ever had. Tasted like water or milk tea that had a ton of ice melted into it. NEVER would have thought a Taiwanese shop would disappoint me. I also ordered the hot red bean dessert with all the other toppings and it just came out looking like it was randomly tossed together. Taste wise? Fine but with the milk tea being ass and seeing this presentation just ruined everything. I barely go out to enjoy myself now and I can't believe I wasted my calories/free meal from my diet here

Came here on a warm day craving shaved ice to cool down and ordered the taro mochi milk shaved ice with almond jelly. It was HUGE -- definitely shareable -- but unfortunately, that was about the only highlight. The ice itself was pretty chunky (I personally prefer a finer, fluffier shave), and it was mostly just a big pile of bland ice. The toppings -- taro, mochi, and almond jelly -- were also pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. We even had to ask for extra condensed milk just to give it some taste, and still ended up removing a lot of the ice because there was just too much of it. That said, the space itself is nice -- plenty of seating with comfortable cushioned seats, and it was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon, which made it easy to relax and cool down. For nearly $17, it didn't feel worth it. If you're specifically looking for flavorful shaved ice, this isn't the spot.

Went here on a hot day and the portions and value did not disappoint! The black sugar boba milky shaved ice was very reminiscent of a blended milk tea through a spoon. The boba on the side was so much and so warm. They ran out of ice cream so they just gave a big cup of soft serve which is arguably better suited for this dessert. They also have a promo for $1 wintermelon tea which was refreshing. I had so much boba leftover that I just topped off the drink with it. Service was a little slow even though there were only a few customers but the value def made up for it!

I love going to Meet Fresh!! One of my friend groups love to go here after all of our dinner plans so we tend to frequent it pretty build your own grass jelly. They used to have a grass jelly C that we liked but I think they changed their menu, but our favorite toppings are the melon jelly, boba, condensed milk, and the mini yellow and purple balls (I forgot what they're called). It's refreshing, shareable, and a great balance between creamy and icy. It does get crowded sometimes but there has always been seats when I've gone with my friends. It's an easy order process through a kiosk and you pick it up on the side. I will be back!

Very disappointing customer service. The staff was extremely rude and spoke to me in a disrespectful and unprofessional way. There was no basic courtesy when communicating with a customer. I came here to enjoy a meal, but the attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. Good food cannot make up for poor customer service. I hope the management takes this seriously and provides better training for the staff.

I'm not crazy about desserts but after the heavy lunch in Paradise Dynasty, our group wanted to try Taiwanese dessert place so someone recommended this place in Westminster. I've would never visit this place since the name is meeting fresh and all sweet stuff here. I've tried the signature bowl, called Icy Grass Jelly Signature with all the trimming and some tea, came out to $21 LOL. No wonder my kids are raking the credit card bills like crazy. Dessert cost more than a meal at McDonalds or In-n-Out burger. Amazing. Yes, it's very tasty and good, the place is nice and clean, it's all self services. There is no ice water to wash down the sugar in all these bowls. Anyhow, this place is for young people who like sweet and trendy stuff, I'm too old for this. My kids are working part time making $16-$18/hr, how can they afford these without daddy credit card?

8/10 Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice - I liked it. I didn't love it. The only thing for me was the texture of the ice--personally, I love when it's silky smooth, almost like soft ice cream, and this one didn't quite hit that mark. That said, the toppings were a solid 10/10, and the boba was absolute perfection! Plus, they gave such a generous amount of sauce to pour over. Cost - $16.11 for the large size with tax.

Stopped by Meet Fresh in Westminster on a hot day with a discount coupon--but the visit was a disappointment. Staff were really impatient and unhelpful about using coupons. Ordered the Grape Mango Shaved Ice ($15.75 with 25% off) and expected mango chunks, but mostly got under-ripe pineapple--hard, tart, and artificial tasting. On top of that, the printed menu doesn't show prices, and you have to either download the app or see the counter menu which is super inconvenient. Usually I love Meet Fresh everything, so this review is only for their new osmanthus menu. Got the osmanthus shaved ice and it wasn't as good as my go-to here, the q mochi shaved ice. The osmanthus flavor wasn't really there, just a lot of sweetness if anything. The toppings were also not as good as the q mochi. I'll be back to try their other new menu items though since they sounded really good- they have a thai tea and dubai chocolate series apparently

Amazing service and amazing people. It was my first time trying this place and I was not disappointed at all, the items have just the right amount of flavors, make you want to try all of them lol. The atmosphere is really a good place to hangout after any situation. (PS I'd say try their green tea too. It's amazing, different than any other green tea for sure, even different than other franchises)

The self-order kiosk wasn't working, so we had to order from the cashier, but this wasn't a big issue. I was here on a Saturday night and it was busy/filled with people but there wasn't a line to order. -strawberry and mango shaved ice: 6.9/10. Very refreshing! Sweet, tart, and comes with plenty of fresh fruits! Huge portion - good for sharing between 2-4 people. However, the fruit syrups make this dessert veryyyyyyyy sweet. Delicious, but gets too sweet to finish. I wouldn't get this again, but I would definitely come back to try something else as they offer a wide variety of traditional asian desserts.

Their green tea drink is very refreshing when ordered just slightly sweet I like their shaved ice but just wish their fruits were a bit sweeter or more ripe. But overall, this is a good dessert place that is super close to my parents house so will frequent more often. read more

This location is the worst one I've been to yet. It took 30 minutes for them to get out a single order. Absolutely absurd. Thirty minutes to get one order completed and when I finally went up to ask them if my order was ready, they had told me I ordered too many toppings and that they were waiting for the taro to cook. This is the second time I came here. The first time the drinks I ordered were really good, which made me want to come back. This time I ordered the exact same thing: the Brown Sugar Milk Tea, the Caramel Pudding Milk Tea, and the Passionfruit Green Tea. However, both my milk teas tasted like water and it lacked sweetness. I told the workers about this and they remade it for me, but it still tasted the same. It was really disappointing because I waited around 30 minutes for poorly made drinks. I came in last night during the rain and the line was so long. I decided to try something different, Coco Sago Soup Signature, to go. When I got home, and opened the container, so disappointed. The whole container was full of coconut milk and barely any boba or taro balls inside. My husband encouraged me to drive back to Meet Fresh to ask if they can remake. We went there, and asked if we can remake or exchange to something else. The girl at the counter refused, she said no exchange and refund. So ridiculous I paid 10$ for a bowl of coconut milk, so overpriced and not eatable. Finally she said she gave me some more taro balls, the girl filled up about 10 smalls taro balls . I went home and put together. It still tasted so bad and had to throw away. I don't recommend this place. Overpriced and bad service the desserts are just nothing special. Please go somewhere. The dessert and drink are delicious, but the staff needs to be more professionally trained. Last night, I ordered Black Sugar Boba Milk Tea. I paid Mini Taro Ball for it and an 18% tip (I know it's not much on a drink order, but I wanted to let them know I expected them to take care of my drink). Still, I never received the Mini Taro Ball, which I had already paid for. My wife and I went to the shops again this morning. And they still screwed up our order, even though they weren't even busy. We ordered MilkTea and the guy who took our order and put the system. When I asked why Tea (because I was ordering MilkTea, not Tea) was showing on the screen, he explained that they are technically the same thing. I was like okay, and let's see what will happen. However, the order still came out Tea, not MilkTea; I asked him to fix my order anyway (waste of time). I also ordered Signature Icy Grass Jelly and added Black Sugar Boba to it. My wife told me to double-check my dessert when we got out of the store. While checking, I kept telling my wife that everything was fine, it wouldn't happen like last night, and they were not too busy. You guys guess what, lmao. The same story happened like last night; I never received the Black Sugar Boba I had already paid. I had to return to the store and ask them to put black sugar boba into my dessert. I hate leaving a negative review for a business, but I believe you guys need to become more professional. read more

Just wanted to send gratitude for opening this restaurant in this area. I just had it for the first time ever this past week and absolutely loved it.i got the Ube icy grassy jelly and waffle. It was delicious, not too sweet which made me feel less guilty for getting dessert. There are so many good options that I must make more frequent visits to try them all. Keep up the creations! I guess one feedback would be I didnt taste too much of the ube in my ube mochi. I tasted the sesame and mung bean on the inside, but ube flavor was slight lacking. SO HAPPY THAT MEET FRESH OPENED UP IN WESTMINSTER! No more driving to Irvine for my cravings. This location is extremely spacious, clean, and every time that I've visited, it's been pretty busy. There is a Kiosk that you can order from, or you can order from the cashiers. I would recommend ordering off of the Kiosk since it's a lot faster if you know what you want and are paying with a card. read more

We have given this location quite many tries but there hasn't been a time our orders were done right. We ordered drinks with extra ice but always came with a few cubes. Other times our orders got mixed up. We gave it a another try last weekend, so we ordered 5 drinks and one Icy Glass Jelly desert. They left our orders on the table for 20 minutes without notifying us. We waited for over 50 minutes, then checked with a staff who said sorry but it's been there for over 20'. Meer Fresh is the place to be! I ADORE their foods because it's my comfort in these times. Every single time I eat anything here, my heart is warmed (even if it's cold haha). Some of my favorite foods to get here are the Brown Sugar Shaved Ice and the Brown Sugar Milk Tea. Geesus.....I just waited 30 mins plus for a milk tea and some tofu! How can this be ok? They definitely need to work on service and efficiency. There was only 1 register, and skipping orders all over the place. In preparation to what you would call a grand opening don't you think it would be wise to staff an abundance of employees? There was no one cleaning nor wiping tables. Apparently, no one making orders either because I waited forever for a drink and a bowl of tofu. Can't say I'll be coming back. We came here twice already and the first night we went it was crowded and I was happy with the dessert. We came back again and it was much slower but not sure how they had us waiting over 20 minutes and called out more then 10 numbers after us. I asked them if they had called us and the girl I spoke with said she "thinks" someone else is making our order. If you look at our number and it's way behind the number you called shouldn't it be checked to see where my order is??? I get it, they are a new business but when you are that behind on a slow night they should go out of their way to see what's going on with our missing order. read more

This place deserves a Big Spank! The place in Irvine was one of my favorite place for dessert but somehow the Westminster location is not the same. Ordered the Original Signature Iced, the herbal shaved ice is not the same, very bubbly, so soggy & mushy. Sorry but Meet Fresh down in Irvine and Las Vegas locations doesn't taste at all like this. The shop and staff is new so there is room for them to improve and grow in some areas. Definitely need to iron out a few things but I would expect them to learn and improve quickly. That considered the place has great Atmosphere, great decor, and ample easy parking. The staff is super friendly and the food is on point. I love the fact that it's not overly sweet like other desert shops. We will definitely be regulars. read more

Well well well no more having to drive far to Irvine or Cerritos anymore!! Finally they have a spot here in Westminster/ Garden Grove and they taste pretty excellent. The staff is still learning the ropes but even with a mess up which happens they still make up for it with good customer service and make it right! As they said in a sign I would recommend check and make sure your sides and utensils are in the bag before taking it home. I get their tofu pudding with Taro ball and it tastes excellent!! Will recommend Meet Fresh anytime! read more

SUPER BUSY! Staff were nice and they gave us "presents" for Christmas. A red envelope with coupons and free items to turn in later. I ordered the tofu pudding, but the ginger sauce was watery. The texture of the tofu was good. I also got a mini qq almond drink which is served hot and it was very good! Not too sweet and the mini qq was chewy. Lots of space for seating in the back of the store. But a bit dirty cause if how busy it was. read more

Service is very bad at this location . The cashier has a straight face with no enthusiastic in taking the order. What we ordered and we double check our order before paying and yet they still got our order wrong. We ordered waffles and Fluffy mini Q and when we got our ordered we didn't get the waffles and the fluffy winter melon has no mini Q in it. Definitely going back to the Irvine location. I rather go out of my way to drive to the Irvine location then to come back here. Went to test out this location 3 times and was disappointed with their service the last 2 times. Incident 1: We ordered to go and at first they texted saying it will be ready in 30 minutes so we went to pick it up. But on the way they kept sending multiple texts of your order is ready come pick it up. It's ridiculous that they have to send me 2 text one after another every 5 minutes. I had to tell them to stop spamming and that we are on the way! It hasn't been 30 minutes yet! Mine you we don't live in the area. Incident 2: We had 2 orders and our 2nd order came out 1 hour later just for a waffle. We came and ask multiple times if our waffle done yet. At first they said they would bring it to us when it's finished. Never did. A table that came after us got their waffle before us. How ridiculous. Never even informed us or told us the multiple times we asked. My 6 year old was looking forward to the waffle for an hour but the waffle we got was cold. Staff seriously need to be retrained here. Their food is not even sanitary like most comments on here. They do not take precaution of food safety! Not only that whenever you stand at the counter wanting to ask them about your orders it will take them forever to pay attention to you and getting an answer for you. Shit drinks and mid ass dessert for mid service and a cute environment. Ordered an Ube smoothie that tastes like you're drinking a straight purple potato with chunks. Tasted like ass so I asked if they could make me an ube milk tea, a sweeter drink that I'd enjoy more. They declined with the reason that it's a completely different drink. I understand it would have been out of their way, but i did not enjoy waking out of this establishment with an ass drink. read more

The first time I picked it up myself, and the second time it was delivered within about 5 minutes of being made since I live only a couple of minutes away. So I don't think freshness or delivery time had anything to do with my experience.

I recently visited Meet Fresh in Westminster for the first time and also tried Taiwanese shaved ice for the very first time. I ordered the shaved ice signature with taro on the side, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The ice was incredibly creamy and refreshing, making it the perfect treat. I got their custom Grassy Jelly, added red beans, lychee and peanuts. The taro balls are a popular option, but I prefer the more natural toppings. Wow this place is gorgeous. Really cool place to hangout. They just had their soft opening yesterday and it was really crowded. I give the manager a lot of credit on how he handle the crowd. They ran out of my favorite grass jelly signature dish and some people were upset. The manager gave us a refund and a voucher for a free item next day. He didn't really have too. Overall, I'd come back again to try a different drink and for how fast the drinks came out, but the service was subpar and had minimal interaction, which is perfectly fine for the introverts of the world who have zero questions to ask. The shop has a few benches to sit on, but I'm not too sure if it's the optimal place to sit and hangout. There's a lot of parking space, but parking can get chaotic in that parking lot, especially during dinner time.
