I have been on the hunt for a nail spot and found this salon - it seemed to have good reviews, so I requested an appt through the Yelp app. They asked that I called or text instead, so I did and was able to get an appt on a Friday evening. When I came, I was surprised at how close it was to a Costco - one that I've been coming to for years, but just never noticed all the other businesses around it. Parking is shared with a few other stores, but far enough away from McDonald's and Costco that there wasn't any interference. When I walked in, I was greeted right away and told to have a seat at one of the pedicure stations. Mia (it was written on her cart, so I think that's her name) got started on my toes once I decided what I wanted done. She was very quick and efficient. My toes came out cute and glossy. I didn't get my manicurist's name (I didn't see it on her cart), but she was also quick and efficient. She shaped my nails exactly how I liked them and made them look very good. She added lots of layers of paint to ensure that they looked right (the color was very light) before drawing some pretty flowers. When my manicurist started, she wanted to use the drill to clean my nails and I asked her not to because the drill tends to make my nails brittle (not sure why, other than maybe drilling too deeply?). She complied, but did warn me that my polish won't last as long - which was fine with me. My manicure started lifting after 2 weeks, which was earlier than I had anticipated, but at least my nails still look healthy underneath. So far, this is one of my top salons that I would consider coming back to - but it is on the pricier side. The overall service was great - they did their job and I was left to relax in peace.

New photos. I LOST an entire toe nail pray for me nothing eles goes wrong. Warning the community, 153$ robbed worst service and now clearly unsanitary. Mind you never asked for refund or discounted. Not even going to ask for a charge back from the bank. I took a gamble and lost. Don't be me and lose your money now my toe nail too!

I have gone here twice now to get my favorite nails sets so far. They are super flexible to my crazy schedule and always do amazing work with my nails. The place is super cute and they always have good music playing. I will be booking my next appointment soon and can't wait

My friend recommended that I visit Mega Nail Bar, and they did not disappoint. I called before heading there on a weekday and they informed me that they would be able to take me in, I waited approximately 10 minutes before being seated which is reasonable. Yena serviced my builder gel fill in and was able to execute my nail inspo photo very well. There are a few parts of my nail that were not painted fully, but they do not charge for removal and my entire visit cost $75 plus tip. I'm pleased with the quality of service that I have received and will continue to patronize this location!

This is my go to nail salon and I do not go anywhere else! For manicures, I specifically schedule with Yena and she delivers masterpieces every time! She obviously slayed and she is absolutely wonderful The professionalism and friendliness here is unmatched and everyone takes your preferences into account. I was in a hunt for a nail salon for mani and pedi before I give birth. Found them on yelp with the most decent price and is nearby costco lol I called for mani and pedi and I was accommodated/scheduled the same day. I walked in and was greeted by Amy. I showed her my reference for mani and was seated right away. I also told her that I've never had acrylic or powder dipped nails before. She reassured me and I trusted her with the recommendation. Janelle did my mani (powder dipped) and Amy did my pedi (gel x). I couldn't thank these ladies enough for helping me relax and made my "me day" so worth it! I visited on a Sunday morning and had made an appointment via phone call the day before. I requested for my gel nails to be removed and also for manicure. It was a great experience and a relaxing vibe. She took her time with my nails and they came out really cute and they turned out like the inspo picture I showed them.

My nails look just like, if not better, than the reference photo I gave Trinh! They are so cute and so pretty and she definitely delivered just in time for Valentine's Day. She was able to accommodate me and my friend even though we were late to the appointment and let me know the price ahead of time. It was a pretty loud environment, lots of phone calls being made, but she meant business and took her time really making the design, so I trusted her through it. They were all very nice too!

Did a walk in for mani/pedi appointment and they did a great job in bringing my birthday nails vision to life! The place was comfy and clean. I would definitely be visiting Mega Nail Bar again, thank you!!

I've been going to Roy for over 2 years! He is so consistent with his work - always makes my nails look just like the inspo pics. He is quick, but very detail oriented and careful with my nails/hands. I have tried a few different nail salons/techs, but he is the best and the only person I will go to! Called in advance to check the nail prices for my daughter and was told it was sixty to seventy five for french tips and gel x with glitter. When asked to pay, they said it was close to 90 dollars and then rudely asked for a tip by tapping the screen aggresively. Customer service was okay? Would not reccomend going here, save yourself and your money. read more

I've been going to Roy for 6 years now since 2018 and I will never go to any new nail tech again. My nail shapes and designs are always on point. My pedicures with Fon are always so relaxing. I called to see if I could get a fill from this salon since it was close to my job, I informed him I just wanted a fill and I was about 15 minutes away. I got there and he told me it was too late... So next day I decided to go during my lunch and there was one customer and two other employees sitting in pedicure chairs on their cell phone . They spoke in their language and then told me they don't take walk in they are appointment only! The racism in this county is insane.. I thankfully googled another nail salon Island Girl in the Alameda and she did a Amazing job ! read more

After my last nail tech moved out of state, I was looking for a new nail tech but not just any nail tech. My mom started going to Mega Nails and told me there was a male nail tech so I made an appointment and knew he was the one. Roy does outstanding work. He takes his time and pays attention to detail. I came here for the first time and Trinh and her team were AMAZING! She was extremely detailed and super talented. I never get acrylics but I am blown away by her shaping and nail designs. I've been going to Roy for about a year now. And he never disappoints I used to be that girl that went home and fixed my nails bc I always found something wrong I didn't like. But not w Roy, he's precise. He's clean. I never have acrylic residue all over my cuticles. He's polite. I never have to fix my nails. I sit back w no worries and I let him be the artist he is! The new salon is bright and clean and beautiful. Calming music. Tranquil environment. Bathroom is clean and smells fresh. I definitely enjoy and will keep coming back read more

Been to Roy a couple times now and I don't think I'll be going anywhere else. The prices are very fair and the work is incredible, he's a true pro. While he was doing my nails I was also looking around at the other techs, and while I will be sticking with Roy they all seemed very sweet and did a great job with their clients' nails too, so I think Mega Nail Bar is a very solid manicure spot no matter who you schedule with! Last time there was a little issue with one of my nails (which imo was mainly my fault) that I didn't notice until I got home and Roy fit me as soon as possible the next day to fix that nail without charge. I made sure to tip him though, even though he was humble about it, since he took time out of his schedule for me. Also, I got a dip acrylic full set and he is an absolute pro, they aren't even thick which can be an issue with acrylics! And I feel I am pretty rough on my hands but there has been zero issues with them, they're solid and I am not worried about anything happening to them between manicures. I'm on a budget so I have to wait a while but I am already looking forward to the next time I go get my nails done! I think next time I will try a pedicure too... read more

really really disappointed in the cleanliness of this salon. i have been going to mega nail for 3 years now to both locations and lately i've just been let down. julie always does my fills and her work is great however i have noticed she never uses clean tools. thankfully i've never gotten an infection but i have never seen her open up a clean pack of tools. and lately this location has an ant infestation, last time i went there were ants crawling on my lap tray and i saw an ant on the lady's glove that was doing my toes and she killed it with her finger and just continued on with my pedicure. she didn't even flick it off! and when she was rubbing lotion on my legs there was a dead ant on my leg... sorry but that was the last straw for me. i wish i could continue to go here because they're always kind and squeeze me in but i can't continue to support a business that does not put cleanliness first. read more

I've been going to Mega Nails since I was younger and I have never gone to any other salon. Trinh has always made my nails turn out so amazing and the retention lasts over a month for my acrylic!! Mega Nail Bar is new, clean, and relaxing. The service is awesome. I only go to Roy to get my nails done. Roy is very talented and amazing at his craft. He will listen to what you want and he has an eye for achieving the look that you want for your nails. He's also pretty quick for the level of detail he puts into his work. I have followed Roy to three different shops now and would not go to anyone else. I do not trust anyone else with my nails. Fon is great for pedicures and takes her time with. read more

**** UPDATE Hi Trinh, Thanks for your reply. I was here on Labor day to have the exact date and I even made a comment to the nail tech that was doing my pedicure. I asked if she was new or training since she didn't even cut my toe nails as requested and eventually broke because it rubbed against my shoe. They charged me full price for both nails and gel pedicure and it was if it was the nail techs first day because another nail tech kept telling her what to do. I asked her to cut my toe nails and she didn't even know how to so she just filed it and it ended up getting up breaking at the edges. As for my nails the tech put nails on that were too big for my nails shape, so when I went elsewhere after they had to fix it. Not worth the $ to have a mediocre job. read more

If you are going to charge these prices, stop rushing people through the whole process. I felt like this was a cattle call. Also, I didn't get a hand massage nor did they moisturize my hands. My mani/pedi lasted all of a week before chipping. To top this all off, when I was leaving the salon, there was an acrylic nail (not mine!) stuck to the bottom of my flip flop. Stop rushing people, clean up a little better, and provide an experience that matches the price.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I went to this salon and left with my nails completely ruined. None of them are shaped properly, they're uneven, bulky, and the area under my nails wasn't even cleaned. It looked messy from the start, especially when filing with powder flying everywhere. The towel they used smelled awful, which was another unpleasant surprise. I got my nails done by the owner, which makes it even more shocking. She showed up 30 minutes late and didn't make me feel welcome at all. Honestly, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've ever had.
