Then they changed the name, and I assumed it was new ownership, so I decided to try it out. I had THE WORST experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I'm a new mom and I don't get a lot of time to myself, so I was excited to finally get a pedicure and relax. I left this place more stressed than I was when I came in. 1. This place looked so unsanitary!! I should have walked out, but I didn't have a lot of time and decided to take the risk. Should have listened to my inner dialogue screaming for me to leave. She didn't wear gloves until she did the sugar scrub on my legs and then when she did that she took her wet gloved hand, that had already touched my feet, and put it in the communal scrub jar that looked watered down already. So every person she touches gets their germs mixed into that jar of other people's germs. None of the tools were in a sterilization pack. They were all out in the open, so who knows if they were actually clean. 2. The gal was so rough with my feet and when taking care of my cuticles. She was literally digging into the sides of my toenails and caused me to bleed multiple times. And then she kept pouring cuticle remover back over my toes that were bleeding?! 3. She filed down my nails sooo short that it hurt and she would use her own sharp nails to dig into my toes while filing, which also f***** hurt. 4. The paint job was horrible! I picked a gel color and instead of wiping off the wet paint that was on my skin with a brush and alcohol, she just let it cure under the UV lamp and then after she was done with the paint she took a nail file and tried FILING OFF THE PAINT THAT WAS ON MY SKIN!! Wtf??? 5. She started the timer for my massage on my legs, but then took her time wiping off her hands and rearranging things on her cart before she started and also she didn't use lotion. She used a tiny amount of cuticle oil which then turned my massage into a dry rub basically, and that didn't feel great either. 6. When I went to pay with my card, she was impatient for the card to register when tapping it on the machine and jerked my card out of my hand and was trying to do it herself. Overall- I will NEVER come back here. Such a waist of my time and money, and possibly got an infection. My toes hurt so bad!!! I went home and cleaned my feet immediately.

You shouldn't be able to see through the tips. the chrome polish should be solid all the way through. especially if i'm paying $12 extra

If you are in search of affordable and great service then you definitely need to give Cindy a try. She books quickly on weekends so it is good to book an appointment in advance. Cindy doesn't rush and you can tell she knows what she is doing. I fully enjoyed my quiet time for just myself. My nails felt so refreshed and loving how they turned out. My mother has been a faithful customer of Christine's for about 15 years. I used to go to Christine as well, but was on hiatus for a while. When I returned, my girl Amy took over the show for my nails. She and I always have a great time while she does my nails, and I appreciate that she will take the time to do crazy designs and not charge me an arm and a leg for them. She ALWAYS takes great care of me, and will do my fingers and my toes if I plan well enough in advance. I swear I love her for that. Pauline is the pedicure queen, and if it was not for her busy schedule, I would try to see her more often. The others are hit or miss to be honest. I've never left a review before because I understand that no one is perfect. However, my experience…read morehere was very disappointing. The woman who did my nails was extremely rude. After my appointment, I noticed that the acrylic was uneven on almost all of my nails, so I went back and politely asked if they could be fixed. When I sat down, she immediately said she couldn't see anything wrong. I kept showing her the uneven areas because it wasn't just one nail--it was almost all of them. Instead of trying to help, she told me, "I'm not a machine." I then asked if she was saying she couldn't fix them, and she replied, "No, I'll just give you your money back." What I don't understand is how someone who specializes in doing acrylic nails could think this was acceptable work. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I did expect my acrylic nails to be applied evenly and with care. It wasn't just the quality of the nails that disappointed me--it was the way I was treated. I simply wanted my nails corrected, and instead I was met with rudeness and an unwillingness to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.
