Ok this is my first time ever making a review. As a Brazilian guy I feel I must say something about their "açaí ". First think, they have only one bow size that they wont fill it till top. They fill it until half of the bowl and when I asked for more açaí and less toppings they said theres no "extras" açaí!!! Like more than half of the bowl is extra? And also far away from being the best flavor. If you really wanna get a real açaí, best Ive tried was OakBerry first place, ubatuba Second. I went here for a protein shake on Sunday because my gym's smoothie place always seems to close 30 seconds before I approach the counter. I read some reviews and saw a negative one about the protein shake tasting bad and costing like $14, and something about rude service. I'm glad I didn't listen to that review. Cause I had the protein shake (hemp protein, banana, coconut meat, almonds, coconut water) and it was the best protein smoothie I ever had. And get this: I don't even like coconut that much. I usually like coconut flavored things (to an extent) but usually don't like the actual fruit. But I still loved the smoothie, even though it was really rich with coconut. And it wasn't $14. I got the medium size which is a perfectly good size for an adult, and it cost $10. No it doesn't cost $5, but that's what you can expect when you're consuming quality ingredients, and not a drink made up of artificial flavors and space fillers. Finally, the two people who were working the bar/register were hella sweet. A+ on service, A+ on product. Highly recommend you give this place a try. read more

Acai bowls come with a scoop it yourself granola bar with 6 different granola options. I tried both the french vanilla and blueberry granolas and hands down these were the best granolas I've ever had in an acai bowl. On the other hand, the fruit wasn't super fresh like I've had in other acai places. Some of the fruit almost tasted a little pre-packaged and the acai flavor was just okay. I would definitely come back here for another bowl though just because it's decently sized for the price and the homemade granola definitely carries its weight. read more

I've been going to this location once a week for months and This was the worst experience I've ever had. Got charged 5 times for things that we didn't even get (on the receipt it says 5 charges of blueberries at $.99 just so he could add more charges).. then when going back in an questioning it got a string of lies about the owner changing the policies.. except there was no written change of menu at the place or online. When I called back later he then mentioned items I didn't even order so it was one big lie to get more money out of customer. I will never be coming back as this establishment is stealing from their customers. Make sure to check your receipts before you leave to avoid this business's fraud. Got the acai bowl here. I get acai bowls everywhere, so I believe my opinion on this matter is a good one lol. First off the bowl is so photogenic , I mean look at that, you can't even see the acai because the fruit is placed so precisely close to each other. The toppings I chose were coconut flakes, bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. My acai tasted of quality, you can tell it's good acai when it isn't overly sweet, since it's supposed to come organic and unseewetend. All the fruit was fresh and sweet as well. 8.5/10 for the bowl. My vegan wrap with chitpole sauce definitely Tasted like a vegan one. The chipotle just didn't give the wrap enough flavor and it tasted a bit bland to me, but I got what I asked for so can't complain. Service here is always good, nice people who smile are so important in a business. read more

Naturewell has a great central location on Melrose with a loading zone meter right in front of their shop - I was in-and-out quick so it worked out perfectly! I checked-in and received the complementary Facemelter... It was super delicious and totally original! The oil of oregano added a great boost of flavor and the heat was sharp but didn't last long. I highly recommend trying it out. My acai bowl was presented beautifully but tasted just OK. The blend didn't have great fruity flavor and was pretty bland. The blueberries were also mushy, probably because they were thawed from being frozen and not fresh. The agave syrup was really great though - thick, sweet & probably my favorite ever! I also really liked their granola bar, where you customize your order and blend as many kinds as you like. Service was 5 stars - the gentleman who made my bowl was super welcoming and helpful. Service alone (plus that amazing Facemelter) will definitely bring me back to Naturewell when I'm in the area. Açaí bowls are a joke for $12! Qwench was oddly closed on a Saturday so I opted out for this place. I first much say that Qwench hooks it up with the amount of Açaí and toppings given. Today, I the guy behind the counter (the owner - Palestinian guy, don't know his name) I asked why there is no price for listed on the TV screen menu for the acai bowl and he responded "Are you blind?" And pointed to a laminated poster on the desk. Then he pretended to joke and said I dropped something to try to mock me. I knew the guy was full of shit at that point. Easily one of my favorite spots on Melrose. First off, Naturewell II pulls through if you're craving an açaí bowl with fresh almond butter and peanut butter made on the spot, beats all the other açaís I've ever had. Their açaí is the perfect texture/consistency and there's so many fresh toppings to choose from. The workers are also generous with the amount of toppings they put in the bowl (unlimited toppings with no extra charge). Outside of bowls they have various smoothies, juices, shots, snacks and bottled drinks. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu, and everything has been delicious, fresh and healthy. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. Came here late after a dance class and only one girl was working. It wasn't super busy but she was definitely hustling. She put in the effort but I'm whatever about this place. I went for the pineapple sensation..... it tasted like it was mostly strawberries. Which is ok I guess buuut not what I was looking for. To top it off there was barely any ice in my drink. It was like that foamy semi warm kinda smoothie that sits at the bottom once you're done with your drink. Unfortunately I didn't have the energy to go back in and wait in line. Which is my fault. I'm sure they would've fixed it. This smoothie was pricier than I would've liked. I'd probably stick to a chain or somewhere more well known. Horrible service. I've been a returning client for years, but unfortunately, I'm never coming here again. I've been on a grape cleanse for almost two weeks and I came here an hour before they close for a grape juice with ginger. Albert proceeded to lie to me and tell me he doesn't have enough grapes to make a medium juice because he has to save the grapes for another client. There's absolutely no business, and it's an hour before they close. I tell him that makes no sense, they've made the juice for me before no problem. He says his boss told him not to make a juice with only kale. There's sooo much water in grapes, the two can't be compared. I ask him to call his boss. He calls his boss and he says they can make me a juice that's half ginger half grapes. 1) Ginger is way more expensive than grapes. 2) If they wanted to charge me extra, I wouldn't have cared. 3) the guy started off the conversation lying to me, so who knows if he even called his boss. If this is how you treat your loyal customers, you shouldn't be in business. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

This place is good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here: it was decent. I ordered the Coconut Kale smoothie, and it's something that I could do at home. It's nothing special. However, that just means the place is very healthy and natural! I loved that I could see her pulling the kale from the fridge, grabbing the coconut meat and water, and the agave. It was fast, easy, and simple, which is great! I love all the healthy choices, too: juices, acai bowls, and health shots. That said, if I were to come back, I would probably get their acai bowls or juices, cause those looked a lot better and tastier, something a bit more special that I can't make at home, than the smoothie: that's just a personal preference. The ambiance and the vibe of the place are also amazing! I loved that it was so committed to healthy eating that all the food in there was healthy: they had quest bars, so many flavors of the Complete Cookie (which I am obsessed with), organic and small business sodas, different protein bars, etc. The person serving was also very sweet and quick at making my friend and my smoothie! This small storefront has lots of healthy and organic options. I'm a big fan of their smoothies and juices - all made to order and taste seriously fresh. I love their Coldbuster juice when I'm feeling under the weather, and you can't go wrong with their smoothies. They allow for substitutions to be made, which I appreciate because I'm picky with my non-dairy milks. They're also really quick to get your order out! Staff is extremely kind and welcoming, always answering all of my questions. The store has only a few tables (maybe 2) outside the shop, so don't plan on staying. There are some grab and go options offered as well in the refrigerators and near the juice bar. I definitely recommend coming in to grab a refreshing juice or smoothie while in the area. read more

This was the first spot that made almond butter fresh on the spot!!! How cool! And they gave you generous amount of açaí bowl! I loved how they had all these cool healthy snacks around it too - like umm yes I'll take it! I got an açaí bowl with whatever toppings they had. I like that they had dates (chopped dates) as an option but they are really lacking on all other fruit. All they had was strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. I love when there is a variety of fruits to choose from! They also had 4 options of granola which I liked too! It was a tad bit over priced but I am glad I tried it. This place was open throughout Covid and it was often the only little ray of sunshine in my quarantined days! Everyone is so friendly especially Daniel who I seemed to see the most. I believe they only had one person working the shop during COVID. Daniel knows a lot about nutrition so he's always helping me pick something on menu based on how Im feeling. I'm hooked on all things turmeric and ginger now for my joints. Thank you Daniel! Stopped by Naturewell after visiting Galley 1988 across the street. This place is awesome! So many healthy juices, smoothies, and food! I had the Berrylicious smoothie which had raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and agave. Very nice! But my fiancee clearly picked the winner with the Vegan Chocolate smoothie (chocolate chips, vegan ice cream, rice milk, agave and cacao powder). Wow! I can't recommend the Vegan Chocolate enough - so ridiculously good! Free Face Melter shot (lemon, ginger, cayan pepper and oil of oregano) with Yelp check-in! This location is on the smaller side with street/metered parking but is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I can't wait to try their Studio City location! read more

I am completely in love with Naturewell. From breakfast to a snack to lunch and even dinner, they have so many yummy healthy items to choose from. Not only is everything so good, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I come about 4-6 times a week and sometimes twice a day. My favorite is the Acai bowl with my choice of one of 8 super yummy granola. The smoothies are my second choice. I love the Coconut Kale, Tony's Special and Coconut Cardamom. Everything is made to order and super fresh. It's really hard to find places like this in the area. I'm sooooo happy they are here. They have made my fasting for lent a lot easier. read more
