This is one of the best pizzeria's in town. The food is amazing. The food is prepared freshly and efficiently each time. The owner of the pizzeria is kindly hearted and treats all his customers like family. The staff members are so kind and so friendly that it makes the experience even better. I stop here several times a month on the way home from work to pick up pizza for dinner. The round pies are thin crusted and the flavor is great. There are plenty of options, from chicken bacon ranch to veggie. The people who own and run the place are always incredibly nice (which is very important to me) and often throw in a free slice :). I should be crucified for having never reviewed this place before. Back in the day, when I worked at Menlo Park Mall this was the go-to place for lunch, dinner, late breakfast... Now that I live in Philly I have searched for it's match; there isn't one. When I go back to NJ it's the top of my list of must-do eateries. I have loved their balsamic chicken sandwich for practically my entire adult life. Fresh mozz, roasted red peppers and lettuce with balsamic chicken; all layered in a house made "pita" - which is essentially a ball of baked pizza dough! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The pizza here is on point! I often long for a slice. Sometimes, on a fat girl day, I order a slice to go along with the above-mentioned sandwich. Plain old cheese will do but there is something comforting about ziti pizza - yes, that is pizza topped with pasta! Or perhaps buffalo chicken pizza is more your style. It's all SO good. You can't go wrong. The owner is AWESOME too. He remembers everyone and is as nice as can be. So friendly but not in a fake way. A real deal italian pizza guy. LOVE HIM. This place is like going back in time. To a dirty, dusty old pizza place from the 80s. The parking lot looks like downtown Baghdad, chunks of broken asphalt everywhere. So bring your 4x4 and a pair of good boots if you're stopping by. The pizza once tasted very well, I have been recently and all I can say is wow. They have completely given up. Just disgusting. The people who answer the phones don't speak English, and screw your order up. The crust and the cheese is separated by a layer of grease and watery sauce so when you sink your teeth into a slice the cheese comes off leaving u a soggy triangle of pizza crust. I hope the ownership realizes they have fallen off and bring back some quality that this once great pizza parlor was known for. read more

Today we landed after a long flight, and had a 2 hour drive in front of us. But this family of 4 knew that a slice was the fuel we needed. We pulled off the parkway- and dropped into Menlo. lucky Us! Don't be put off by the plain exterior. Inside is a deep kitchen of Italian yummiest! We only ordered slices to go (such a shame....) but this place had a menu to satisfy anyone. - We had 6 pies to choose from - Our slices were heated to perfection - huge pieces of pepperoni - gooey hot cheese - crispy crust - fab sauce - all in all deeelish 4 slices, 4 cokes and we were on the road in under $13.00 Holy Batman, can we get this in NY please? keep in mind, no real ambiance. Could the food be any better or the people any nicer? Not at all! We had delicious calzones with perfectly baked crusts and a sweetly delicious marinara sauce. I work very close and a lot of the women I work with order from here. I ordered a chicken sandwich with ranch on it. The chicken was HARD AS A ROCK. I could barely chew it. I was very disappointed because besides the chicken being hard the sandwich was actually good. I have yet been to the actual place and after my hard chicken I doubt I will be going but possibly might order again if I'm in a pinch for lunch one day. Went to this pizza place after ice skating last week. There's plenty of seating here, so it's a little bit better for groups than BK boys, the other pizza parlor in this area. I didn't think the pizza was as good, as it was a little bit soppy and the toppings were kind of discolored. It was acceptable though, not awful. This was the best crust of any pizza I've had in the area. Not to thin, not to thick, crunchy out of the over, and could hold the pizza straight from the crust. I took off 1 star because the marinara is too sweet. The garlic knots were awesome, but not dipped in this sauce. I have been going to this place for a long time now and food is great but after yesterday I lost all the respect I had for this place and may never go back to it again. The girl that was working at the front register WAS NOT wearing a mask and the kitchen cook was also NOT wearing a mask. That's absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that it's a restaurant. Second thing is that I asked the girl for fork and knife and she just gave it just like that. Like at least wrap it with a napkin or something.
