Excellent experience with Both Evan and Greg. Son came in for a prom rental fitting and pick up, both men were personal, professional and extremely helpful. My son is 6'4 and has a hard time finding pants in his length. Walked out with 3 pairs of pants for him to wear to graduation and bring to college. Every time I come in here it seems like everyone working is very annoyed to have to deal with a customer. 1st time I figured the person working was having a rough day so let it slide. Came in today for the second time and as soon as we let the woman working know why my husband and I came in, there was immediate disgust on her face. My husbands cousins wedding is coming up and he is a groomsman. We simply went in to see what jacket and pants were under the group number. I had an appt for our wedding tuxes. As soon as I walked in, I was approached by a man saying that we had to wait cause the store was too busy...even though we had an appt. Then someone else came up to us and was like "oh I didn't realize you had an appt." All I wanted was a black tux. They had nothing for him to try on...NOTHING! I asked for him to try on a white vest and a tux jacket that was on a mannequin just to get an image. This man huffed and puffed to do it. I kept hinting that we weren't happy and he did nothing about it. He said he couldn't match the bridesmaids because the bridesmaid dresses weren't from David's Bridal. I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews for this place. Came here with my dad, nephew and mother to decide on the tuxedos for my wedding. The staff was very helpful and attentive and gave ideas to help me. Anna the manager is amazing!!! I never understood why anyone shops here with the prices what they are. I was forced to buy a suit here as I am in a wedding party and that's what the groom chose. First he had to change and pick another suit from the one he wanted since they didn't have the size for one of the groomsmen (in any of there many locations). He didn't mind but that's really weird considering they are a chain. Then after a month of waiting for a call that my suit is in, I call them asking what is taking so long and they say it came in 3 weeks ago. Awesome. And finally, when we went and picked the suit I tried it on and had the pants marked to my specifications yet when I picked it up, it was not tailored. In fact it was in a box so not only was it not tailored but it was all wrinkled. Again I just don't get why anyone shops here. read more

I went there as the mother of the groom (who needed to rent a tux as well as his brother), along with the father of the bride who needed a suit and another family member who needed a suit. Let me tell you, the salespeople were terrific. Now, I have had a terrible experience at the store in Carle Place. Where they never even acknowledged us after more than 15 minutes in the store, but not so at Oceanside. They were so helpful and personable. This is our go-to place for sure. I love the quality (also bought some shirts for my husband with Black Friday sales!). I thought the prices were a little high for the tux rentals, BUT, the prices on the suits were great and we all left extremely happy. I highly recommend this store. read more

I must be the only person that has come into this store and to have received great customer service. My groomsman and I came in to be fitted for tuxedos for my wedding. The staff was friendly and courteous and even found a billing error for one of my friends that ended up saving him a little extra money. Went there for a tuxedo with my son for a prom. The staff was friendly but it was kind a like a used car lot. The pricing seem to be a scam which turned me off. They quoted me prices and then when I told him I had a coupon they said that was already included in the prices. How can they include a discount in a price and they didn't even know I had a coupon? In hindsight I would've went to the local tuxedo guy and I would have paid between $100-$150 for a complete quality tuxedo. Instead, the $59 prom special at Men's Warehouse typically costs over $200. Or shall I say it will cost around $250 then minus the $40 coupon will bring you a little over 200 read more

Staff was friendly and helpful enough . But there is definitely something wrong with the management there. I order 2 suits on Monday and was told the alterations would be done by Friday at 6 . Well I got there at 6 and waited till 730 and still no suit they had just stated the alterations at 7 . Other people were waiting and complaining that suits were not ready as promised. In the end I had to leave without any suits and when we asked to speak to the manager (TJ I think) he would not come out from the back and told the woman at the register that he was to busy to talk to the customers . Children's TUX prices are out f control ! Never Again !

I've been to two this location twice in my life and both trips took over an hour each for a seemingly simple issue/request. The delay in both cases was due entirely to the fact that it took a full 15 minutes to be greeted, and then having to stop new sales rep every time I needed something and re-explain what I needed help with because the prior representative was nowhere to be found. If it weren't for the great experiences I've had at the location in Manhattan on Third Avenue and 71st street, I'd write off MW all together. read more

BUT, this chain has placed a PRIORITY on an idea of what the suit buying experience should be AHEAD/OVER the needs and desires of the costomer. They were so focused on having me buy a suit I haven't even tried on after it's been altered and selling this $800 custom mystery item that I had to leave empty handed. And, a buy an $800 suit get the second one free means the suits are only $400 each, they just want you to buy two nice suits that are made in sunny Indonesia instead of just 1. On 3/11/13, the new manager, male white, glasses, late thirties, demanded that a suit that was purchased at his store be dry cleaned, on a hanger with a receipt, in a plastic bag before they would re-tailor it. I purchased this suit at this store, received a half-ass tailoring job, and now he wants it dry cleaned before they'll fix the mistake that they caused. DON'T bother with this store. Weddings, events, go anywhere else. They'll give you filthy tuxedo shirts, cheap chipped buttons, and charge you a fortune. Go to Macy's. read more

My husband and our bridal party went to men's are house in Oceanside to purchase their Vera wang tuxedos for our wedding. My husbands button fell off prior to our first look which delayed all of our pictures and resulted in us missing out cocktail hour. The seam of his suit jacket ripped at the arm, and another one of our bridal party members lost a button. When I contacted men's warehouse I spoke with Jo Jo and the best he could do was replace my husbands existing suit. I then contacted the regional manager, Robert Roberts, who was kind enough to refund a portion of the cost of the suite, which we have yet to receive. This men's warehouse is horrible!!! Brides beware!!!! They have no idea how to handle customer service and they do kit follow through on what they promise. My husband and the groomsmen purchased Vera wang suits, which were not cheap and the quality was unacceptable!!!!! Do not think of purchasing suites or tuxedos here!!! read more

This place was horrible. First off, the exterior of the building reminds of south Bronx. Second, the staff were all 18-23 years of age and none of them had an ounce of professionalism. I was told to sit at a desk while I waited for some inexperienced child to come show me a book and flip through it, choosing my tuxedo and accessories like I was ordering takeout. There were four or five of them, none of them even said hello to me. They were all jabbering like they were back in high school yelling about who is getting chipotle. Very unprofessional, this place was a dump and a disgrace. If you want to feel like your at Burlington coat factory while you're trying to piece together your suit or tuxedo, then this is the place for you. If not, choose a different men's wearhouse the one in garden city on old country road is much much cleaner and waaaayyyyy more professional. Let these inexperienced children that work at this store take care of the bright red prom tuxedo and 8th grade dances. I don't even know how this place stays open with the staff they have. read more
