This is the second negative experience in a row that I've had at this store. I don't experience this at other Men's Wearhouse locations. Several months ago, I came in with a sportcoat that I had purchased there about a year before. I had lost a lot of weight and I was trying to determine whether I should get the jacket altered or I should buy a completely new jacket. The salesman acted like he could not be bothered with me. So I ended up leaving and going to the Oxnard store where I purchased a brand new sportcoat there thanks to the manager of that store. Fast forward to today. I was looking for some men's dress shirts. The sales person measured me and determined that I'm an 18 1/2 3233. Well, they don't have shirts in that size. That's OK. But absolutely no suggestions on how I could have a shirt in that size. For example, the salesman could've suggested that I get the shirts altered where the sleeves can be shortened, and some of the material can be taken in. No. He didn't do that. Basically it was just- sorry we cannot help you because we do not have a shirt that could fit you. So I guess I'm going elsewhere to find dress shirts. This is not your dad's clothing store where they try to help you. You're basically on your own here. I've never been in a men's clothing store, where they really don't want your business. Absolute trash business practice. Son rented a suit, when we researched online since it was a Sunday It said it was closed, so we waited until the next day and was charged a late fee. They need to update their business hours on Apple Maps to correctly reflect their operating hours as mentioned by previous reviewers. Seems like a sneaky way to up charge as this guy on the phone said majority of students for prom was charged the same late fee so in my opinion, pretty sleazy way to up charge for late fees. read more

Men's Wearhouse is a JOKE! We ordered tuxedos for our wedding and they were ALL wrong, even the groom. This should have been a red flag but I decided to take another chance and ordered a tux for my son's senior prom AND that was wrong as well When I called the store, the manager told me, with attitude, that I was lying and I was wrong about everything. Next I called the "main" customer support line, the best they could do was refund the money I had paid for my son's tuxedo. If that was the best they could've done, so be it and I said thank you for your help and when will I be receiving the refund. THAT WAS MONTHS AGO and I still have not received anything. Now, after speaking with numerous representatives for the past 3 weeks I have been told by each of them that "it will be refunded within 24hrs" Still NOTHING $0. I'll say that the last two times I've been to this specific Men's Warehouse, I could say incredibly good things about the service, especially the staff there. However, I had to return a suit I had rented for my sister's wedding. I had checked the day of to see if they were open and, according to their specific hours, they were closed on Sundays, which was the day I was told to deliver the suit back. I got a bit nervous but came to the understanding that they would be understanding, considering their hours. However, as i was returning my suit today, I was told I was a day late and had to pay a late fee. I responded saying that they were closed yesterday, and the person helping me stated that they were in fact open from 11-6... which completely contradicts their listed hours!! I don't think I will be returning to this men's warehouse, I'd rather go to Tuxedo Junction in the Oaks Malls, because at least, from past experience, they seem to be a lot more organized than Men's Warehouse will ever be. read more

However when I picked up the suit on November 4th. Their guy Eric could not have been more friendly and helpful. Cheerful and was bouncing around doing 4 different tasks while the other guy just stood behind the desk. Well, was time to get a sports coat for a friend of mine. Upon entering the store, we were warmly greeted by a sale associate. It seemed as though we were the only folks in the store when we came in which was nice for personalized attention. My friend initially tried on a fitted jacket, which was too tight and pulling across the chest...the sales associated informed us that was the style...so we then asked for a more traditional jacket style. Interesting, the fabric had what appeared to be irregular lines in the back, or maybe it was that two pieces didn't match up correctly, additionally, the pockets puckered. Nonetheless, the salesperson told us on both accounts, that's how it's supposed to look. Years ago, I remember Men's Wearhouse having a much larger and more professional look to their clothing. He measured my son and asked him what he was looking for. He offered suggestions and a button up to try on. The suggestions he gave fit my son perfectly and were what we got! I know that this location is closing so I am posting based on my experience in TO for a Wedding that weekend. Needed to kill time and wifey saw the The Men's Warehouse and said hey weren't you shopping for dress shirts. So at 8pm we decided to look around. Well I ended up looking for a tie to match the suits I brought for the wedding. The guys let me have run of the place since I was their only customer on a Friday night. I laid out coats of the same color I had, paired with shirts that I brought, and then went to town pairing ties and pocket squares. Ended up with two ties, two squares, a pair of tweed pants and a sports jacket with a hoodie (unorthodox but it was on clearance). Overall a great experience, but probably not the typical consumer experience since I got a lot of liberty that night. Thanks to the gents that were there. read more

Used tuxedo rental service for a last minute rental and paid the rush fee. Bill the associate was exemplary and answered all my questions and took my measurements accordingly. Looking for a white shirt for our sons wedding. The staff immediately approached us as we walked in took my husband measurements then tried to force fit us into what they had in the store. I didn't like the textured shirt they had and they said I could look online but didn't think I found it. Staff was less than helpful. Sales person tried telling us every brand fit the same. Finally left frustrated and went to Macys, bought a shirt for less than half the cost, sales people more than willing to help with fit and opening shirts so we made sure we got the right fit. Thanks guys for severely screwing up my wedding. My nephew was supposed to be our ring bearer, and they gave him flipping shorts instead of pants... not shorts like you'd typically expect, but way below the knee shorts. When fitted he was fitted with pants, and he was basically supposed to get a miniature version of what the groom/groomsmen were wearing. He was very upset, and ultimately we didn't have a ring bearer at the wedding. I understand that they should have tried the outfit on immediately after picking it up, but still. Not sure how that could happen. AND THEN I went to drop off my suit. The associate that was "helping" me literally said in a giddy voice "oh you're late and owe $180". Like that was his great f$$# you moment of the day. So unbelievably rude, and to a groom who literally had his entire party rent suits there. I was out on honeymoon, with the suit in the car... If someone had told me upon picking it up that I would have been charged $20-30 a day, I would have changed before leaving the venue and left it with someone to take back to the store. Regardless, there REALLY should be a one week grace period for the groom, as he typically is away for at least the weekend. A manager overheard the employee (probably embarrassed by his tone of voice) and reduced it to $97 -- still ridiculous. Long story short, the customer service was extremely lackluster, and ultimately they helped ruin an important part of our ceremony. The suits looked great, but they'd look great no matter where you get them. This is essentially a service industry, and they certainly failed me. Uploaded a photo of my nephew. I went in store to purchase a suit, after trying different coats and pants, I told to order it online?? I ordered "online" on August 19th. Brought it back ASAP, September 14th to get fitted. It's NOW October 6th and nothing??? I had to pay for suit, then additional fee to alter, which I was never told. Went there to buy a suit. The sales person was forceful and only showed me one suit. He said that was all they had and it was the highest priced one! After trying on the pants he started to do the alteration measurements even though I was not satisfied. I looked around the store and found other suits at a lower price. The sales person was only interested in selling me a suit that would give him the highest commission. I will never go to Men's Warehouse again. Bill is a phenomenal salesperson, mainly in the sense to listen and respond in an incredibly helpful manner. My wife and i walked in on a rampage, as i had not been made aware the local mall no longer participates in the suit business. Within a few minutes i had a full setup to start with for fit in the dressing room. Bill meanwhile had been helping my wife sort through other offerings to try out, as stretch was a main priority for rug cutting at the upcoming wedding. After finding me the right fit, and pant jacket match, from the "Awearness" Collection (which i highly recommend with the heatwaves we're heading into). We were almost set, he had to outdue himself one more time by finding the perfect tie to match my wife's bridesmaid dress with only a poorly rendered photo we had on hand. After getting everything set he had the tailor get the pants taken out a bit with a guarantee of having everything ready Friday, i ended up getting the text&email the following morning informing me the alterations had been completed and the suit was steamed and ready to go. read more

I've had bad experiences with Men's Wearhouse in the past, but not here! The Moorpark location experience was top notch. Every time my wife and I, even with our kids now and then, had a great experience. We came here to get tuxes for our wedding, groomsmen and my in-laws. We were always greeted right away. Every person that contributed to our experience was kind and helpful. When we brought our kids, some of the employees helped us keep the entertained while we were selecting the suits. I think his name is Jose, who does all of the measuring was really helpful! Super nice guy and really made a huge difference in our experience. There were not late suits delivered, all was nice and timely. We had an issue with one of the kid's tie being dirty, but we were able to get a replacement next day. They have great deals for tuxes if you get 5 or more. They give you a $400 in store credit to shop. However, their prices are really, really high and you need those $400 incentives to make you consider to even shop here. They also have suit deals like, buy one get one free, so that helps. Still, slight overpriced. Altogether, great experience and would highly recommend the Moorpark location! read more

Unbelievable customer experience here... we were so upset that we walked out without getting the guys name. We were literally trying on a suit with one of the guys working there and after a moment of trying on the suit my fiancé turned to look for the guy helping us and he had just walked away without a moments notice or heads up. We waited for him and after a few minutes we found him in the corner of the store talking and laughing to a few of the store associates. Horrible experience. I am writing this review as we are driving to another tux shop. That's how bad the experience was, I couldn't wait to tell you guys not to come here. My first clue should have been the way the staff is dressed that they have no idea what they're doing. Over sized clothes, dirty faded t-shirts with slacks, All the mannequins vest were buttoned all the way down clearly any one who know anything about suits/tuxs knows the last button is always left unbuttoned and then when we finally got help. Guy was not helpful at all didn't try to tell us anything about anything no direction, no information. I'm here with a teenager to rent a tux for his prom. Its a teenager obviously they have no idea where to even begin it was the Associates job to guide us through this experience. We showed him the tux we were considering and he said oh yeah the Vera. I asked well where is it? He replied "uhm.... oh it's on that mannequin" uhm well do you have one he can try on? "No, you can't try on thr mannequin ones. Well hello dude wth?! Do you have something similar? Whats your suggestion. No?! Thats it?! What's your advice do your freaking job!!!! We didn't spent no more than 5 minutes talking to him before we walked out. We went to this store after getting a cancellation call the DAY BEFORE our measurement fitting at the Black Tux/Santa Monica for our daughters wedding. We had made the appointment 2 months in advance knowing how busy and challenging things are due to Covid. Edgar was wonderful to work with! We thought we would rent for upcoming weddings but ended up buying since it was cheaper and more convenient to do so. Edgar was knowledgeable, did follow up phone calls and the tux is perfect. This place is a joke... went there for clothing for a funeral for my husband. The first time we went and no one greeted us we stood there for about 8 mins and no one came to greet us. We decided to leave and go back the next day since everyone in our family went there for men's clothing for the funeral. The next day we spent about 3 hrs trying to figure out what fixing was needed. The guy helping us was completely clueless. We were about to stop the process and leave!!! We decided not to as so much time was already wasted. Finally clothing was chosen but needed alteration.. we were told everything would be altered pressed and steamed and "ready to go". We picked up today as we need clothing by tomorrow.... The clothing was unacceptable... completely wrinkled and not ready to go as they said! The alteration on the pants was hideous!!! They literally folder the pants and sowed it! The gold is about 4 inches which looks horrible! We should have went somewhere else from the very beginning! We spent over 500$ in this outfit and it's completely unusable! We are left with wrinkled clothing and unacceptable alterations! Will never ever go back! I'm always one to give fair reviews and this one cannot be fixed!!! read more

I like wearing suits and don't really care about labels, but, when buying one, its not like buying a 3 pack bag of tshirts. So their presales is really good.. you walk through the door, and immediately you are greeted and surveyed for what you are looking for. I thought this was very efficient, and after 60 seconds was in the area I wanted to be... The suit selection is nice, the demeanor of the sales rep is excellent, and you never feel like you are taking too long, they are truly there to help you out. Within 20 minutes I was getting fitted for tailoring and after 35 i was out the door... Nice.. Pickup was confusing.. I didn't have my receipt but no biggy, I told the rep my last name and out came the two suits and she handed them to me, just bare suits... I thought this was odd... I asked if I could try them on, after all they were tailored and I wanted to make sure they fit right... Sure.. So i go into the fitting room, and notice a few things... The first suit, has two pairs of pants... I thought, odd, asked the rep, which i was told this was a bonus for the 'trio'. Wondering what I paid for (I dind't have the reciept, I thought no prob...) As I start trying on the suit, i notice, that its got remnants on it of string, dust bunnies that look like cotton lining... I thought that this was weird as I was handed the garment and I assume expected to walk out happy.. I looked at the second suit, and again, just not clean. The lady helping me rolled it out, but I again I would have assumed this would have been done on presentation. Lastly, and this is the killer... I have never bought a suit with some sort of garment bag... After all, these weren't expensive suits (300-400 each) but I would never send a customer out with a bare garment. I asked about this, and she put each one in a plastic bag, similar to a dry cleaner... Huh... Very very odd.. As I was leaving, I asked if they sold garment bags, not knowing how much they would be I assumed 29-39 bucks each... She had two versions, one a plastic one, for a whopping 3.99, and another for 9.99, one that I would have assumed would have covered the suit to begin with. When I ring them up, It turns out they are on sale, so for two bags, it was 10 bucks... As it was a cold day, and rainy, I asked if I could just put them around the garment, but for whatever reason, the rep insisted on putting them in a bag... So good, is the suits are cheap and as far as I can tell well tailored and nice material.. The odd, and perhaps a reason I might go to Brooks Brothers or somewhere else in the future, is just delivery. If they were ready to go, why were they not cleaned up? Why isn't a suit, in a garment bag, and not a alteration/dry cleaning bag... I would think this would be a selling point to carry a mens wearhouse bag on an airplane rather than someone elses bag, or a dry cleaning bag. For the cost of 10-20 bucks, wouldn't it be easier to just put ALL new suits in a proper bag to say "We care" rather than the small token dollars of having a customer buy their own bag? They are very generous with the coupons for the next sale but a complete sales process is from the minute you walk in the door to the moment you leave with the new garment.. The 10 bucks and attention to details cost a 5 star review, but im sure ill be happy. read more
