Love the food. Very sweet counter service. Super location, downtown, and close to City Hall, Central Library, and Chavez Park.

    Cubano!!???! No.

Couldn't get on board with the few positive reviews. I wish I could!! I ordered a Cubano. $14 for the sandwich. It wasn't a cubano. It came with 2 slices of ham and turkey, to fit the length of the bread only. They were dry. It had arugula on it. It barely had any mustard as seen. The bun was mushy and cold and not toasted correctly. I took 3 bites and actually threw it away. The taste was so off. Sooooo disappointing. It's like ordering a Pepsi and getting a Diet Coke. It's not what I expected, or how the menu advertised it. Who puts arugula on a cubano and doesn't toast it? Ambiance: it was 1:30pm and no one was in the place. It was empty. It looked clean. The pastries should be in a case to be properly protected from insects.

Early Saturday lunch! Had the Latino Bahn Mi, super delicious! Service was awesome! Everyone was nice and attentive. They had a DJ outside and it was such a vibe! We also had their Cafe Envenenado, sooooo bomb!! Definitely coming back, this place was so good! Sat outside and had an awesome experience!

I would like to give this place another shot since I only ordered a juice (morning punch) it was too sour for my liking and not as sweet as imagined. They make the juice in the back and not in front. The ambiance is fun and it isn't alto busy. The service was fast, when I walked in

Love the Banh Mi it was so warm and flavorful and the sauce was good too. The chips added a beautiful crunch into the sandwich. The people working were nice and the food didn't take long to be prepared The interior was so cute and I love the giant plants, they really add to the atmosphere

The food was gross. They use a mayo sauce on everything. The food is salty and smothered in mayo.

My girlfriend and I dined at Lola's Lounge off Broadway for the first time this past week. Once we arrived we were greated and aaked if we wanted to sit inside our outdoors, to which we opted to sit outdoors. The outdoor area is a nice spacious area, with a homely and simply vibe. Filled with vibrant decor, assorted plants and knick snacks. It such a chill vibe, which is great for couples dinning and large parties of families and friends. Our waiter was very friendly and extremely welcoming, and he made several suggestions for dishes and drinks; several of which we ended up getting. Drinks: Passionfruit Paloma - $16 Happy Cuba Libre - $8 Appetizer: Half Tostones Half Maduritos - $12 Main Course: Blackened Salmon - $29 PR Special - $22 Dessert: Flancocho - $11 The appetizer...cheap The drinks...great The food...amazing! The half Tostones and half Maduritos were really and inexpensive ($12). We loved the chopped garlic on the Tostones, and the Maduritos were simple as they should be. The PR Mule and Paloma were large in portion and really good as well. And the Blackened Salmon and PR Special were delicious as well, and I'll neber turn down more Maduros as the PR Special came with them as well. I'd originally wanted to order the Mofongo, but unfortunately they were out at the time so I'll have to try it the next time we go. Overall: Great food and drinks, great outdoor patio and dinning experience. Very friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

The restaurant definitely has a dark lounge-y feel. Nice for a date night kind of thing. The back patio is really gorgeous, especially on a spring/summer night. My bestie and I hit this spot up after we saw a show at the Guild Theater. It was a super fun night. We got a couple of drinks and tostones and maduritos to start. I love me some plantains and I thought this was a good rendition of it. I think we got for the main plates the mofongo and the pollo guisado. Those were ok. I think that some of the meat was drier than it should have been so it was just ok. I definitely would like to try some other stuff out at his place. The ambiance and service was really great.

Airport Location Review…read more Finding decent food on the road can be a gamble, but Centro Cocina Mexicana in Terminal A is a reliable spot for a pre-flight meal. I ordered two tacos and a side of black beans. The pollo (chicken) taco was just okay. It comes with pineapple, which wasn't really my thing, though that is on me for not reading the menu description closely. Even putting the pineapple aside, the chicken itself wasn't super impressive. The birria taco, however, was very good--especially on the airport food scale. It had great flavor, and I definitely wished I had just ordered two of those instead of the chicken. The black beans were also tasty (note that if you see green in the photo, that's just the hot sauce I added myself). Service isn't lightning-fast, but it's actually a good sign because everything tastes fresh and prepared to order rather than sitting under a heat lamp. Pro Tip: If you want a drink, order it at the neighboring Bar New Helvetia--they allow you to bring your food from Centro over to the bar to eat!

I had a cocktail called 'the beauty of spain' because my son knows me and said I would love it even though I don't usually like tequila, but it was delicious. The cheese cake was the icing on the cake. I love cheese cake and I've tried so many in my life and I have to say their pistachio crust and sangria strawberry sauce made this the best cheesecake I've ever had. Now about the staff and our servers. I can't begin to express how amazing and friendly they all were. They were promp and efficient and made this, plus everything else I mentioned, the best mother's day dinner I've ever had! Five stars is not enough! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have the best meal experience ever! Thank you so much for everything
