It's a hospital cafeteria that can be a challenge to find. However, the food is actually pretty decent. There are usually a few specials at the grill. You fill out your order on a sheet of provided paper and they make it and call your name. The prices are reasonable, and a normal lunch should cost $6-7 here. They also have some fridges with pre-prepared salads and sandwiches. I got the double cheeseburger with fries. Quite good. You can self-serve condiments (tomatoes, pickles, lettuce).

Their menu changes on a daily basis and the food selection is great for a cafeteria.

When I'm back home and if there is a Dodger game on TV (for those who don't know getting Dodger…read moregames isn't the easiest thing to achieve), my first thought is to go to Clearman's Galley. They check enough boxes for my TV sporting event viewing needs. 1. There is a 360 degree offering of TVs. (Great for Sunday Football viewing.) 2. They generally play the sound/audio for the "main" game. Granted the sound is a bit muffled but not many venues offer the audio to a sporting event. 3. The beer is cold and the chili cheese (steak) fries hit just right. And there is plenty of decent bar food available. 4. And there is plenty of parking. (Compared to Old Town Pasadena, the parking situation is extremely favorable.) I've been going to the Galley since there were family style/picnic style seating with sawdust on the ground. This is a great locals hangout. And I was able to convince my boogie friends to come as well. #win

Stopped by to get my kid a kids meal since it's what he wanted. When a kid complains you know something's up. His burger was a mess, no taste whatsoever. Fries, not even a bit of salt. Fine we doctored them up and he ate. However, an hour later he's sick to his stomach. He's been fine all day prior to eating this meal. He was sick all afternoon and didn't want dinner. Never again! Need to update this to warn people. I ended up having to take my kid to the ER. He now has a stomach virus and has been so sick for days.

Even though the place was buzzing with energy and clearly a local favorite, the team handled the weekend crowd seamlessly. The staff was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and fast, making the entire experience feel smooth from start to finish. Since there were five of us, we ordered a variety of dishes to share family-style, which turned out to be the best decision. The absolute star of the table was the pancakes--they are truly outstanding! They nailed both the texture and the flavor: golden on the outside, insanely fluffy on the inside, and rich without feeling overly heavy. The waffles were equally delicious, holding a fantastic crisp on the edges while remaining light in the center. To top it all off, the drink selection was top-tier. Whether you get their specialty coffees or refreshing iced beverages, or even hot tea. Every drink was crafted with care and tasted wonderful alongside the sweet and savory brunch items. It's rare to find a busy weekend brunch spot where both the food and the service shine this brightly. We will definitely be back!

Don't underestimate the size of the cup because it does hit you after 2 cups. I would say it was worth to get brunch here because of this option. Farm Fresh scramble: It's a small size dish topped with fresh avocado. Basically a omelet with mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. Comes with a side, so we chose waffle. Great balancing meal if you want something on the lighter end. Monte Cristo: This was a big dish was huge or the other dish was small and it comes with a side. We ordered a side of crispy scalloped potatoes, soft and gooey. I would recommend ordering the potato scallops to try something new. Ham, Swiss and egg was warm. The sandwich was cut into two halves so really shareable plate.

I love Haven city because there's so many options for food and dining. In addition, there's a lot of places for drinks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic. I appreciate that they have outdoor seating and indoor seating and the plaza has a lot of parking. Unfortunately, on the weekends, it can get quite busy, but I always find parking. Perfect space for families with children, in the summer! It's a similar concept with Blossom Market in San Gabriel but way bigger. There's a variety of food vendors, which is great. Unfortunately, I was quite limited due to my food allergies. But I was able to get some grilled salmon from Kai Don. Staff here were friendly and helpful. I would recommend that they don't overcook the Salmon though, because it can get too dry. Otherwise, it was tasty, with several different sauces available. There was a sushi bar, with interesting rolls but not Japanese run, and they don't use Panko batter for their tempura...so it made the spider roll a bit too dense. For those that like burgers, pizza and beer, there were several vendors. I'll have to come back to try the other vendors soon!
