Husband got unsweetened tea with ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. French dip had lots of lean beef and provolone but had very little flavor. Even dipping in the Au Jus didn't help add flavor. The mashed potatoes were good even though I typically loath home style ( skin in ) mashed. The gravy on the mashed also had zero flavor. Ham and Cheese omelet was very good. The ham had good flavor and it was filled with cheddar cheese. Hash browns were served as requested very crispy and they were tasty. This a great little hidden gem. It's not your typical place in that seating is limited which helps create the eastern Pennsylvania diner feel. Next the food is amazing and the decisions area hard! I came in here really hoping the place was going to be super good. I sat down and the service was great. Their menu is HUGE so it was super awesome to see all sorts of different options to pick from. I also tried the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns and was very underwhelmed by both choices and i had even gotten the hash browns with the works (cheese, onions, peppers, bacon and jalepenos)! Overall this place isn't too bad but i think i might have gone in here with super high expectations and picked the wrong menu items. This has been on my list for quite some time. My wife thought of it when looking for a brunch place the other morning. I could literally try everything on the menu, that's how amazing it is. The portions are huge and the prices are great. I went with the biscuits and gravy, per recommendation of our waitress. The homemade biscuits and homemade gravy complemented each other perfectly. Top that with two over easy eggs, and you have a great breakfast. To top it all of, it came with the largest side of hashbrowns I've ever seen. These hashbrowns were out of this world, crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy inside. Unlike anything I've ever had. My wife went with the crab cake benedict. For the price, she got two massive crab cakes with poached eggs and hollaindaise sauce. It was very rich, but perfect for the few bites I had. This is a classic diner. The staff and management are wonderful. The location is great. Recently though, they went from homemade items like mac & cheese to receiving it frozen in a bag. Their avocado toast comes from frozen avocados even though they have fresh for other dishes. The staff, including the cooks, would prefer to make it fresh and they take pride in their work and in caring for customers. Sad to see a really great place go this route for speed and profit margin. There are other ways. Just ask when you come in about handmade items and hopefully they will retain enough that is fresh, like their chicken tenders, that it will be worth it. French Dip and fries. She didn't care for the au juis. Her brothers tried it. One said it was just ok and the other agreed with her "meh". 3. Biscuits & Gravy. Bland. No seasoning whatsoever. Biscuits were ok. Hash browns on the side with NO seasoning to be found. 4. Omelet of the day was spinach, bacon and Swiss. The insides were not hot but not cold. Cheese was melted. The egg was too thick with NO seasoning. Hash browns had NO seasoning at all. Wheat toast was mostly burnt. Coffee was ok! We went. Atmosphere was fine. They're efficient. Food was just ok. If you are looking for a place that has everything on a menu - this is the place. I would classify this restaurant as an upscale Waffle House. Menu is completely diverse, has the "diner" feel to it. Staff at this locations was beyond friendly and accommodating. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner no matter what time of the day - LOVE when places offer breakfast for dinner!! So that peaked my interest. I haven't tried their specials but from the sounds of the ones I saw yesterday they looked amazing. I've had their avocado toast, cinnamon roll pancakes and the Tuna Salad. Nothing crazy to call out about the tuna salad - standard. Cinnamon roll pancakes are a must and avocado toast you cannot go wrong! The manager must've heard me and bought my whole meal. Absolutely did not have to do that and I certainly wasnt looking for any type of discount I was just telling the chef how much better I liked this one lol. Things like that let you know they care about their reputation, even if it was a different location. I thought that was awesome. Little things like that go a long way. I work at the Puccinis next door, I'll come here for my lunch break a lot and they do a great job. Waiters and waitresses are always so friendly and nice, on top of refills and whatever else I need.
