My two daughters split the chicken and waffles dinner that came with a huge waffle cut into 4 sections and 1/2 a chicken which consisted of the breast thigh wing and drumstick...the waffles were topped with a round of strawberry butter. The waffles were crispy and the strawberry butter was a nice touch...to add was the hot sauce syrup for the chicken. The chicken was a little bland...I wasn't as excited by the flavor of the chicken as I was with the waffles. I ordered the kids breakfast which was huge with an order of grits 2 eggs 2 bacon and toast for $5. The grits were ok..not southern smooth and creamy...but edible without much grit. Husband got unsweetened tea with ham and cheese omelette with hash browns. French dip had lots of lean beef and provolone but had very little flavor. Even dipping in the Au Jus didn't help add flavor. The mashed potatoes were good even though I typically loath home style ( skin in ) mashed. The gravy on the mashed also had zero flavor. This a great little hidden gem. It's not your typical place in that seating is limited which helps create the eastern Pennsylvania diner feel. Next the food is amazing and the decisions area hard! It was pretty busy (I was there on a Sunday around 2:30), but it didn't take long to get seated and our service was so fast! I ordered the spicy fried chicken eggs Benedict with hash browns, which was a special they had that day and unfortunately isn't on the menu. They should definitely add it though because it was delicious, not really spicy though. Pretty big portions and it was only $12! My friend ordered the chicken tender plate and I tried his side order of Mac and cheese, sooo decadent and delicious! I only ate half of my food but I was so full. That being said, the "normal" or "go-to" diner usually isn't for me. I tend to like to purchase stuff for brunch that's a bit different than what I can make at home. The last time I was here, I tried the waffle with the strawberry butter cream. Holy butter. If you love butter, that dish is for you! I also tried the loaded nachos. I came in here really hoping the place was going to be super good. I sat down and the service was great. Their menu is HUGE so it was super awesome to see all sorts of different options to pick from. I tried the chili and loved the chili! Then ordered a few different things from the menu to try a bit of everything. I ordered a chicken finger combo with a side of broccoli and coleslaw. The broccoli was absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for some steamed vegis! The coleslaw was not anything super special. THEIR SAUCES ARE GREAT! I was a little underwhelmed by the chicken fingers as there were only 3 and they seemed a bit mushy. I also tried the biscuits and gravy and some hash browns and was very underwhelmed by both choices and i had even gotten the hash browns with the works (cheese, onions, peppers, bacon and jalepenos)! The biscuits and gravy seemed bland and the biscuts as if they were from canned and bought from a supermarket. Overall this place isn't too bad but i think i might have gone in here with super high expectations and picked the wrong menu items. Top that with two over easy eggs, and you have a great breakfast. To top it all of, it came with the largest side of hashbrowns I've ever seen. These hashbrowns were out of this world, crunchy on the outside, soft and creamy inside. Unlike anything I've ever had. My wife went with the crab cake benedict. For the price, she got two massive crab cakes with poached eggs and hollaindaise sauce. It was very rich, but perfect for the few bites I had. Chicken & waffles... he said the dark meat was good, white meat dry and the waffles were ok. The strawberry butter on top was the best part. "Is it bad that I like Eggo better?" 2. French Dip and fries. She didn't care for the au juis. Her brothers tried it. One said it was just ok and the other agreed with her "meh". 3. Biscuits & Gravy. Bland. No seasoning whatsoever. Biscuits were ok. Hash browns on the side with NO seasoning to be found. 4. Omelet of the day was spinach, bacon and Swiss. The insides were not hot but not cold. Cheese was melted. The egg was too thick with NO seasoning. Hash browns had NO seasoning at all. Wheat toast was mostly burnt. Coffee was ok! We went. Atmosphere was fine. They're efficient. Food was just ok. This is a classic diner. The staff and management are wonderful. The location is great. Recently though, they went from homemade items like mac & cheese to receiving it frozen in a bag. Their avocado toast comes from frozen avocados even though they have fresh for other dishes. The staff, including the cooks, would prefer to make it fresh and they take pride in their work and in caring for customers. Sad to see a really great place go this route for speed and profit margin. There are other ways. Just ask when you come in about handmade items and hopefully they will retain enough that is fresh, like their chicken tenders, that it will be worth it. Otherwise, just eat packaged micro food at home. This has been a great place. read more

If you are looking for a place that has everything on a menu - this is the place. I would classify this restaurant as an upscale Waffle House. Menu is completely diverse, has the "diner" feel to it. Staff at this locations was beyond friendly and accommodating. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner no matter what time of the day - LOVE when places offer breakfast for dinner!! So that peaked my interest. I haven't tried their specials but from the sounds of the ones I saw yesterday they looked amazing. I've had their avocado toast, cinnamon roll pancakes and the Tuna Salad. Nothing crazy to call out about the tuna salad - standard. Cinnamon roll pancakes are a must and avocado toast you cannot go wrong! I love this place for breakfast or lunch. Been here numerous times. I've had omelettes, sandwiches, burgers, the bisel breakfast, pancakes, turkey plate, the breaded pork sandwich, philly steak sandwich... those are just things I remember haha. Then there's the things I pick at that who ever I go with orders . French toast, kids breakfast pastrami sandwich... you can't go wrong with anything you order. Huge portions and quick service. I've sat at the bar a lone and sat in a table with 8 others and the service was just as good. I recommend this place to everyone I know. Coffee is sooo good!
