Cheese & Charcutterie Platter. Best $30 I've spent in any eatery this summer...

Classy vibe, superb friendly service, innovative menu and amazing prices! Living equidistant between DC and Annapolis, nights out start with a decision to go south or east... We'd spend double in DC to enjoy the same level of service, memorable experience and quality dining that we can get on Annapolis' West Street. We stumbled upon Metropolitan by chance, and thoroughly enjoyed the chill chique of their cozy rooftop. The generous Cheese & Charcutterie platter ($30 for the max) was delicious, creative and kept us nibbling for more than an hour. Figs, goat cheese, mancheco, onion jam, prosciutto, almonds, and gourmet delights... Easy parking next door at Knighton garage. And they stay open late! (unlike most DMV establishments). For bar-hoppers, Sailor Oyster Bar across the street is a likely next stop.

We really enjoyed Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge. We were in town for a wedding and went there for drinks and late night snacks and didn't realize we had a reservation the next day for brunch! We were happy to go back again. I will say we had a better experience with the dinner menu versus the brunch. The highlights for us were the pork belly bites, brussel sprouts and the octopus. Honestly there's nothing we had on the dinner menu that wasn't amazing and the drinks were fabulous too! Brunch we had a mix of the crab Benedict, breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy. Everything was good but the egg in the Benedict was over cooked. They offered to fix it and refunded us which was amazing. Customer service was great and it's just a super cute bar/restaurant! We will definitely try it again next time we are in town!

Was staying along the historic street and stumbled upon the Metropolitan one night. They looked to have a happy hour that had an assortment of different foods as well as drinks. The drinks on happy hour were canned beers but that didn't stop me. I also loved that the had a rooftop as well with such a beautiful view of the small town vibe. For appetizers we got an assortment of 5 different things, however one that stood out to me was the grilled octopus. It was cooked perfect and had a fantastic sauce on it. I would definitely order that again. The pulled pork sliders were also really good. They were sold out of a few options when there but it has to be because of how great the food was. The service was also prompt and attentive so I would gladly come back one day if in the area again.

    Tuna poke w wontons. Amazing!

I love this place. We go here for happy hour whenever we are in A Town for a show up the street. Yesterday we dropped in around 6 for Tuesday's all day happy hour (usually 4-6). Beer specials are cans but great selection. Wife and I started with Tuna Poke w homemade wonton crisps. Incredible and great portions. Chips were fantastic. We each had the lamb chops small plate that comes w mashed tators. The good food, the value, the great people that work there make it our fave.

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious! The chicken and biscuits were enough for two people to share and a must get! My friends also enjoyed the avocado toast, breakfast tacos, and the eggs Benedict with the crab cake.

Nice atmosphere. We were able to sit on the rooftop to enjoy the live band. Beware: You have to walk up maybe 4/5 flights of stairs to get there. We were greeted and seated immediately. The staff were friendly and very prompt. We had the gnocchi and scallops as appetizers. The scallops along with the grits stole the show. The flavor was amazing! They are small and you only get 3. Who can I talk to about increasing the number to 5?? the gnocchi was tasty as well. They gave you enough for that to be a main dish. For our mains we had the rockfish and beef short ribs. The fish was really good. I didn't care for the sweet potato mash. The ribs were tender. The flavor wasn't bad at all but It wasn't hitting like the flavor of the scallops. I would come back to visit just for the appetizers.

Yummy shareables, Great ambiance, happy hour Tuesday drinks and Great customer service (thanks Mylie) = a positive yelp experience. Come out and enjoy Marylands finest lagers while enjoying the rooftop. I highly recommend the Fig and goat cheese flatbread and the Birria flatbread. Thumbs up as I'm stuffing myself. Definitely a place to stop by to enjoy the night life!

Super nice spot for a rooftop meal! The truffle gnocchi was SO good. The Brussel sprouts looked great, so next time will also try those. The French dip sandwich was good, bread was slightly soggy on the but otherwise no complaints, good flavors! The potatoes stole the show though. Also happy hour is all day on Tuesday, which was lovely!

Such an amazing dining experience! I found Metropolitan Kitchen and Lounge while looking for a spot to meet my friend who was visiting Annapolis. Their Tuesday all night happy hour immediately caught my eye so I booked a reservation. We got there a bit early and was immediately seated with a perfect view of the cute bar and wall art. The servers were so attentive and helpful, making recommendations about good items on the menu. The drinks came out very quickly and the were great! The share platters were also wonderful. I tried the eggplant caponata which was served with delicious fluffy bread. Chris, the manager, was checking on patrons and made sure everything was perfect! We couldn't have asked for a better night out thanks to the Metropolitan Kitchen & Lounge.

Service was great. We loved the rooftop and the food was AMAZING! We can't wait to come back and try more items. Presentation was wonderful for all starters. Great Wednesday night 1/2 wine deal as well!

Filet Sliders (one of their new specials).

We came here on a Friday night. They were not too busy. We didn't have a reservation and were seated right away. Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and nice. The service time was average. The manager Chris was nice. He came by our table a couple times and asked us how we were doing and asked for feedback. It was a pretty little restaurant. However it was a little dark. Our food was good. We had the Braised Ribs. It was good. We also got two of their specials: TRUFFLE GNOCCHI CHOWDER, and FILET SLIDERS (steak filet). They were good too. Also for dessert we ordered VANILLA CREME BRULEE. It was delicious. We had a nice dinner. I recommend coming here.

Unless you are having lunch there, and in that case I am guessing it may be the same, ie getting in the cue at 11ish before 12pm. I have had the Spotted Pig pizza and whatever enticing pie specialities they have rotated seasonally. I usually opt for the truffle oil or balsamic glaze on our pizza. I have never needed to tweak their delightful presented ingredients combinations. Their pizzas are that outstanding. Take for instance, a recent summer pizza from the Chef's own garden: "The Cuba Libra pizza ...This white pizza features mozzarella and parmesan cheeses, complemented by pork confit, chile-roasted jicama, pickled red onions, cilantro, and fresh mint." I'd never crave mint on a pizza but if Eastport's Vin 909 is serving it, I'm probably going to enjoy it. If you are the more traditional type, another seasonal pizza featured is the Yankee Pie: "family recipe crust with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, summer sausage, marinated red peppers and oregano." And yes, please, to another summer, perfect-in-Annapolis feature: "Vaquero Clams: Steamed local little neck clams, English ale, bacon, grilled poblano peppers, garlic guajillo butter, fresh oregano, epazote and cilantro." I love the gigantic Vin 909 featured arugula salad. I also miss their divine french press coffees and Butterscotch Pudding with caramelita points. A little known fact: when I was there, you could purchase extra caramelita points for $2 or $3. Vin 909 is truly the best dining in Annapolis -- or Naptown -- as folks like me say.

The theater could have just politely declined, but took an explicit political position by saying it does not support the sharing of trans perspectives and dismissed the effort to do so as a "partisan political cause". And for flair, they misgendered the author in writing. This seems like a great venue to drop MAGA dollars, but if you think there's a place in theater for the perspectives of a variety of people, go elsewhere. It was unsurprising to discover the other negative reviews concerning the managment's mistreatment of patrons with disabilities and refusal to comply with the ADA. Our starter, the crab avocado stack was beautifully plated. The sweet remoulade overpowered the naturally sweet blue crab and the crispy wontons were tasty but were very oily. The beet salad had an excessive amount of raw white onions on top, but the mixed greens and beets tasted fresh. The feta chunks neither added nor detracted from the dish. A dollop of mascarpone or ricotta would have given it an even richer, meltier finish. Heck even a whipped feta would've added more depth. The blend of meats was outstanding with a pleasant kick of spice, while the mellow, flavorful marinara had a thinner consistency that made it perfect for crostini dipping. Lobster RavioliThe sauce was unquestionably the star of the show. The pasta tasted homemade with a wonderful texture. Unfortunately, the lobster seemed either overcooked or not at its freshest, as it had a noticeable fishy flavor and a chewy texture. The fresh lump crab, however, made for an excellent garnish and added a bright, sweet contrast. Smoked Pineapple Rum Old FashionedThe pineapple-infused rum came through nicely, giving the cocktail great flavor. The smoke, however, was much more subtle than I expected.
