After that the plate would be coming out one by one but slight communication was an issue when having the name calle on time but good thing the food sits under a hot lamp. I wanna start by saying for what this location looks like, the food was much better than expected. That being said, there were two in my party, and we both got the birria tacos. We have been looking for birria for a little since we moved here and this was closest to us. The flavors were good, not the best birria I have had, and the portions were big. The only reason I am giving 3 stars and not more is because we both had some stomach upset, without going into detail, the night of and next morning. Im not sure if it was entirely from there, since we had dinner later but our dinner was cooked at home and very mild. I don't necessarily think this was a one time and done and I would be open to trying them again to see if it is better a second time. We visit Mexas Tacos often on work lunch and enjoy the food. One thing I have to say is that the place looks and smells clean which is good...ish. The challenge is that when you walk in the door, the place smells like Fabuloso cleanser....I can't think about eating with that strong smell of cleanser. The barbacoa was very greasy but the best of the 5 (because of the grease it had the most flavor). The other 4 meats were dry and bland. Compared to everything in the neighboring area of Orlando outlet, $2.00 tacos are a steal of a deal when you want a quick, tasty meal or grabbing something easy to eat to-go. At 11pm at night, there were people dining in as well as ordering take out and all forms of payment taken. They are bilingual (Spanish and English). They were also voted on Yelp (which was displayed on their wall). The service was good as well. When you order, they give you tiny plastic cups to fill your sauces. The verde was my fave. The tacos are small and they do fall apart but that's expected with corn tacos. My fave taco was the Cochinitia pibil. They also give 10% off when you check in on Yelp!
