We had the Molcajete for one ( so much food! ) and the Tacos de Carne Asada with half and half carne asada and chorizo. Both were fantastic!! They won't take a Togo order over the phone. They make you drive to the restaurant and place it in person. If I wanted to sit in a restaurant and wait 40 minutes for food I would have just eaten there. The bartender was a complete ass. Then he told me to go wait in my car for my food how was I supposed to know if It was ready? If I wasn't pregnant I would not have eaten here tonight. This place is consistent and the food is always good. The service fast and prices are very reasonable. Taco Tuesday is a favorite and everyday all day is happy hour. Great place for families something for everyone. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I'm a foodie, chef and I have had some seriously good Mexican food in my travels. The only and I mean only reason why I would ever give this place on star is because the waitress we got was nice. Other than that I would give this place zero stars if I could. I come here EVERY Tuesday, for Taco Tuesday. 3 stuffed to the brim tacos with beef or chicken for 3.99 is just too hard to beat. The staff is friendly, social & understanding and the other menu items are great for larger gatherings and can be modified to suite unique tastes & diets. Their Molcajita is sometimes too much for a single sitting and their Fajitas Oaxhacas are mouthwateringly delicious. Stop by if you're visiting, even more if you're local! read more

As locals, this was our favorite place to eat for years - at least twice a week. I'm not sure what happened, maybe new management, but today was our last trip. We have given them so many chances to improve. The food portions are getting smaller and smaller, the chips cold and old, and the care in preparation is sloppy (burned quesadilla). The service is consistently the worst I have experienced at any restaurant in spite of the fact we always tip at least 25%. I am guessing they do community tipping and that is why they never have enough servers because the motivation is low to do your best and then give someone else your tip. Hopefully one day they will improve with tip top management like they used to have. read more

This is not authentic Mexican. For example the quesadillas we're not baked or fried and were smothered in a cheese sauce reminiscent of artificial nacho cheese sauce. The refried beans were bland and had about half a teaspoon of melted cheese on them. The fajitas had a lot of grilled onions and green peppers but pretty weak amounts of guacamole and Pico de Gallo. I've been to some wonderful restaurants that are much more authentic where I'm from in Connecticut. This was very disappointing. read more

Went by today for lunch, ordered the burrito and tamale with beans plate. Best thing was the beans the burrito and tamale were bland. My server brought me my drink took my order, never came by during the meal to see how the food was or to refill my drink. My server did comeback when I was done with my meal, to bring me my check, he then refilled my drink. I most likely will not eat here again, thankfully they have a sister restaurant about 30 minutes away that is excellent..... read more

This looked like a trendy Tex-Mex restaurant and we are more into authentic Mexican, but we were hungry and decided to give it a try. What a surprise! What a great meal! We had the Molcajete. A stone bowl full of absolutely fabulous chicken, pork, beef, shrimp and chorizo, cooked with onions and peppers and topped with cheese. Served with a huge fresh avocado salad, a plate of rice and beans and tortillas. There was enough food for 4 people even though the menu said it was for 2. And everything was cooked to perfection. It's a local chain, and the quality of service and food reflects the struggles of a small chain to adequately staff multiple locations with consistently good people. I love Cilantros's they have the best margaritas in town . The staff and manager are friendly and very inviting.

We visited Cilantros on Cinco de Mayo and had a wonderful time. We were in the restaurant for no less than 3 hours eating dinner, and then having drinks. The food was delicious and the entire staff provided not only stellar customer service, but were fun and absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended! read more

Had the fish tacos - very tasty Mahi Mahi, came with rice and refried beans. All the food was very tasty without being spicy. My wife ordered the California burrito which comes with Fries. Again very tasty and not overly spicy. We were seated immediately and the service was very good and we will definitely go back. read more
