Alfredo & Jelly is chill. I'll definitely come back and recommend others for the vibes. Just don't forget my orange garnish on my Old Fashion next time around.

Food is really good here. Came for a late breakfast and ordered the nopales con huevos plate. Included beans and potato & veggies. So delicious! And at $17, well worth it. Complimentary chips & salsa made it a complete meal. Staff is very welcoming. They have a few tvs to watch sports too. Highly recommend coming here.

Lots of parking, staff is always friendly here, they have a great HH so if your debating on wanting or thinking about this place, why not stop by & try it out? Food portions are good, the price you pay for it is also decent & you won't be disappointed, because the service is Plenty of parking, it's located in a shopping plaza & there is lots of seating, for a little or a lot in your party. They also have outside seating, that's covered & heated, so rain or shine.

Overall this place was just ok. The food wasn't bad, but definitely not the best Mexican food around. The salsa was probably the highlight of the meal -- everything else was pretty meh. Service was alright, though considering it wasn't busy, our server seemed pretty stressed the whole time. It also felt overpriced for what you got. Personally, I wouldn't go back since there are definitely better Mexican spots in the area.

First time hitting up Mexico Lindo on Evergreen for their Taco Tuesday vibes--turns out it was the last one of the season, and Happy Hour was in full swing (3:30-6:30pm). The place was buzzing with locals, which made for a lively atmosphere, but parking in the evening was not easy. Dived into the happy hour menu: Nachos piled high with melty cheese, fresh toppings, and just the right kick (4/5)--crispy chips held up without getting soggy. Taco trio was a standout (5/5): asada and al pastor done right, juicy and flavorful with those corn tortillas that don't fall apart. Quesadilla was gooey perfection, stuffed generously (4/5). Mini chimi brought the crunch with tender beef inside, a fun bite-sized twist (4/5). On the drinks: Michelada negro hit different--spicy, tangy, with that dark beer depth for a bold sip (4/5). Margaritas were classic and refreshing, not too sweet, perfect for washing it all down (4/5). Service was friendly and accommodating with booth seats for newborn seating (high chair available for toddlers), and the shaded patio would've been ideal if it wasn't too cold. TVs for sports. Bar area seating available. Solid 4 stars--great value on specials, but plan ahead for parking.

We had a company party here and understanding we are a large party service would be slower, but it felt really staggered at times. However food and drinks were great. I'd probably come back with a smaller party and hope service will be better. The star for me was the mango ceviche. Super refreshing and flavorful.

Super disappointing experience. We came here on a Saturday night, I get that we were a bit towards the later end & after the Saturday evening rush. The thing is, we had to go look for a server & if you're gonna serve crappy food & make the bartender serve us instead, do us a favor & just tell us you guys are closed for the night. It's a disservice to us as customers for you guys to serve shitty food & then charge us full price & have to look for a waiter to serve us food. Our server was great & we don't blame him for the quality of the food, if anything he was the saving grace of our night. However, it would have been nice if they comp'd at least 1/2 off for the bad experience.

I only really enjoyed their drinks. Location: Because they are located on top of a hill, your phone connection will be very spotty. They do offer free WIFI to compensate that, you just have to ask one of the workers for the password. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. Food: The food here is not that great. It has little to no flavor. Someone in my party got the steak and asked for medium rare and when they got it, the steak was well done. I got the steak fajita which did not really have any seasoning on it. The chips and salsa was pretty standard, the salsa did have a small kick to it. Drinks: Their drinks here are pretty good. They have different types of frozen margaritas which all tasted great! Service: The service here was okay. I did come with a large party, but they did mess up a couple of our orders. Some of our food came out cold while others came out hot. The serving sizes were also inconsistent. Overall, my experience could have been better.

This restaurant is a nice area in Evergreen. The decor and ambience was fun and inviting. The chavelas were good and the food and dessert were middle of the road. The waiter was attentive and friendly. It was OK overall.

I've heard so many amazing things about this restaurant and I was so excited to try it out! Unfortunately it definitely fell very short of these expectations for several different reasons... First and foremost, although this is a "Mexican restaurant" the food is clearly not authentic Mexican food sadly... (This is coming from an honest Latina, so you know I'm not lying! lol.) We started with chips and salsa, which was very mild/light, yet moderately tasty! For entrees I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp plate. Although it definitely photographs beautifully and looks delicious.. it was severely lacking in flavor and did not have seasoning or any type of flare to it at all. :( The only thing that gave my dish flavor was the bacon that was wrapped around the shrimp sadly. I didn't even finish the rice because it honestly tasted a bit odd.. it looked like it they had added salsa verde on it but tasted very bland still. :( My friend ordered the steak fajitas and said that it was okay.. but lacking in flavor and the meat was very tough and not easy to chew. Essentially it was overly cooked. He said it wasn't awful but it also wasn't great either if that makes sense. Although our waitress was very nice, she forgot to come back and take our order for a solid 15 to 20 minutes while they were cleaning up other parts of the restaurant. I would understand if it was busy but we were one of the last tables there and it was clear that it was not a "priority" to help us. Another problem we had was my friend ran out of water while eating chips and salsa and started coughing/chocking with no way to relieve it because literally no one was there to refill our water.. Couldn't you just leave the water vase on the table? That would make more sense if the staff is preoccupied. I find it problematic that we had to ask for refills even though it was very slow in the restaurant that night.. On a positive note I will say the restaurant itself is decorated beautifully and it has a lot of interesting decor that really adds character to the place. I will also say they have pretty generous portions as well. But sadly... The food is clearly overly Americanized.. I'm guessing because it's in the Evergreen Hills? That they don't deliver on authentic Mexican cuisine seasoning, spice, nor taste AT ALL. lol. Honestly I am pretty disappointed after hearing all the amazing things.. I wish I could've liked this place more but I will definitely stick to my authentic Mexican food restaurants instead.

Sunday lunch was quiet and we got seated without having a reservation. We were served water , chips and salsa right away. The food is delicious and portions were sufficient. I've had similar food for similar prices. Their cocktails margarita was just one so next time I'll try a different cocktail. We had Mole in the side and that was so good with all of our dishes. The Mango shrimp cocktail was fresh. I liked my chicken enchilada with the rice and refried beans. The Chimichanga Burrito was plentiful but a little dry -it would have been better with more fat. The fish taco plate was ok and the steak quesadilla was good. Get the Mole on the side because it's so good to dip your chips in it out some over your dish ! They have Karaoke on Thursdays.

This place has a nice atmosphere. They have tasty strong adult beverages. I had the Cadillac margarita. Tasty and hot salsa. (some places have mild but here it's boarder-line too hot) They have plenty of staff so the service is generally pretty good. Very attentive when you need something. Prices seemed fair for having dined in the Beverly Hills of San Jose. Food I ordered the Tierra y Mar (steak and shrimp fajitas). I never had or even heard of soggy/soupy fajitas before. I ate most of my food because I was hungry but this was not was I was expecting. I will probably never order this here again. 2 out of 5 stars. I know everyone makes fajitas their own way but this didn't even look appetizing. Most of the other dinners looked good though that I saw throughout the dining area.

What vegan options are there? Everything on the menu has meat or cheese!

Do you offer another vegetarian burrito other than just bean and cheese? Also, what is your corkage fee if any?

We've ordered veg burritos here. They're happy to make burritos with bell peppers, onions, jalapeños, etc. They're very accommodating.

We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

They charged us for an adult Chicken and Waffles even though we sent it back and got the correct kids' portion I originally ordered. They also charged us for TWO molcajetes when only ONE came out. The check went from $265 to $200 after we caught everything. 1000000% they were hoping we wouldn't notice. I could believe it was an honest mistake if two molcajetes had come out, but they didn't. Since gratuity was already included, it really makes me wonder how many people have overpaid without realizing it. We came in with a group of 6. Everything was okay at first. We ordered chips with salsa and beans, and the beans were delicious, so we ordered a second round. At most restaurants, chips and salsa are free, so we assumed the same here. Unfortunately, we were never told the second round wasn't free, or that only one refill was included, and no one asked if we were okay with the additional charge. My dad and I shared the molcajete, which was pretty good, had enough meat, and was literally BOILING hot. My MIL and husband both ordered the Carne Asada plate. It was tasty but had really small portions, so we had to share our food with them to fill them up. My kids ordered French toast and chicken strips. They were originally supposed to get Chicken and Waffles, but they were out of waffles or couldn't make them--I'm not really sure. This is where the problems started. I specifically said KIDS chicken & waffles twice when ordering, but they brought out the adult size for my oldest, which was $8 more. Fine, we can call that an honest mistake, but then it was also charged on the final bill even after we sent it back. Unfortunately, after everything with the bill, we will NOT be going back here again.

My wife is Latina, so we're pretty familiar with authentic Latin/Mexican flavors, and from the moment we walked in, we were a little unsure of what to expect. We completely understand we're in Willow Glen and that Copita is going for a more upscale take, but for us, authenticity and flavor still have to be at the heart of the experience. Our waitress was very friendly and polite, and this review is absolutely not a reflection of her service. However, when we asked about the style of the food, there seemed to be a little hesitation in explaining it, which made us even more uncertain about what we had gotten ourselves into. I don't like bashing restaurants or their food, so I'll simply say that, unfortunately, the highlight of our meal was the chips and salsa. The cocktails, on the other hand, were good and definitely not shy on the alcohol! Also, don't expect large portions. The restaurant is clearly aiming for a more upscale presentation and experience, so the plates reflect that. Overall, Copita just wasn't for us. This was our first visit and unfortunately will probably be our last. I genuinely wish them success, but I think a few changes, especially when it comes to the flavors and authenticity of the food could make a big difference.
