If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Not only is the food disgusting the margaritas are made from a mix and they're horrible. They claim they're the best margaritas in town and all I can think is that people at this establishment don't know what a good margarita should taste like. It should be from scratch and not from a lime mix. My nephew ordered the kid's hotdog and it wasn't cooked and the bun was stale and they microwaved it to make it soft. What kind of food quality is that?? Then in trying to speak with the manager - who should have happily taken these things off he refused. A friend had invited me here for drinks & tapas on a Friday night, but we never made it. I did go for lunch on my own out of curiosity. I ordered lunch fajitas and of course my fave drink margarita. The margarita was great as it quenched my thirst plus has a kick to it. I was a bit disappointed with my meal though. Food seems 'ho-hum'... a bit bland. I've had better. The waitress brought my check before I was even done with my meal... did I give the impression I was gonna run off without paying? Hopefully, if my friend invites me again, I'll definitely go for the margaritas and possibly leave it at that. read more

I was with some friends and they recommended Mexico Lindo since we were right next door. The food was good as any other Mexican place but it all went down hill from there. When I recieved my bill the total was $8.47. I hand her my credit card, she leaves to run it and comes back. As im about to sign the check, I noticed my bill was now $17.22!!!!!!. SHE HAD ADDED IN HER OWN TIP OF $8.75!!!!!! I brought this to her attention and she appoligized. She then brought back another check for the $8.47 and I still gave her a decent tip. 3 days have passed and I still see the $17.22 charge on my online statement...I plan on reposting later this week in case it changes. I dont want to bad mouth this place but I do want whats right. Ok like I said, I would write back if they changed my check to the right amount. They have refunded my money and made everything okay. Horrible Management, terrible service, nasty food. I used to love this place - NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! The nightmare that my family and I encountered here was just unbelievable! I could not even believe how they treated us. The server lied to us then stomped around for 30 minutes fussing about it, came back and argued with us several times. The management backed her lies. We were so upset, we could not even finish our meal(not that it was worth it but still) I have never in my 50+ years been treated so poorly. It really is a shame as I used to eat here all the time but I will never step foot in this place again. I have been over 5 times now and sadly it has gotten progressively worse. I am sure they have changed the salsa since I have been coming here. It seems like now it is 90 % ketchup! It's gross! I heard other people complaining about it the last time I was there as well. Our waitress was oblivious to the fact that we were ready to pay and disappeared. The manager did the majority of the work for us. He refilled drinks and asked how everything was. The only reason we left a non offensive tip was due to the fact that in the future we thought we might go back. The real kicker was later that night after we ate I threw up! I don't throw up ever! So I clearly knew who the culprit was. I won't go back EVER again and I truly am bummed about this digression. On the bright side there are many more Mexican Restaurants in the Smyrna area, I'm sure I'll find a replacement. read more

Food was . . .OK, but not better than that. Service was good. My main problem (besides the absence of chips and salsa) was we stopped for the lunch buffet about 40 minutes before the buffet closed; they had already stopped restocking much of the food on the buffet line, and the trays just sat there empty. Enchiladas were not to be had :-( and several of the other trays were empty as well. I understand stopping 5 or 10 minutes before, and even refilling small quantities as it gets close to closing, but to stop completely is unreasonable. Our experience was terrible, start, middle, and finish. After we were seated, it took 10 minutes for the server to come to the table. We immediately ordered guacamole, and that took 15 minutes to come out. While my food was good, the food given to my friend had a hair in it. The waiter approached me and asked if I wanted something to drink.When I told him I only wanted water for now he stated you know we have a buffet . I was a little thrown off by that comment . Another gentleman came in and the waiter gave him chips and salsa immediately needless to say at this point no tip was going to be given . This is a great local hangout for me. There are numerous 'Lindo" restaurants but this is the one located on S Cobb Dr. The food is excellent value(not the best but well above average), every few months the menu is upgraded and offers a few fares that are very unusual for a Mexican place, they tend to be more South American are very tasty. The Margaritas(Texas) are the BEST in Atlanta. On weekends they feature live entertainment that usually has an artist playing a verity of hits. Overall you can not beat this place, good food, very reasonable prices and excellent service. read more

I used to adore this place. Went tonight and got a horrible experience. The cheese dip came out tepid at best. Asked to get it heated to hot (as in temperature) and it was returned lukewarm at best. Guess microwave needs replacing? Ordered the chicken soup and specified it to be served hot (as in temperature) and got it lukewarm, if not cold. Asked if they had a side salad and waiter told me the salad was in the soup--tried to explain I wanted a side salad (i.e., lettuce, get it?) and was told again the salad was in the soup. I guess what the wait staff wants is more important than what I want. Would order again for the chicken soup which is outstanding, but will make it a "to go" order and go home and make my own side salad and heat the soup up myself. Then I could give them five stars for making dinner at my house the way I asked for it. read more
