Yes I love me some Mezeh! I've never tried CAVA but if it's as good as Mezeh then I'll have to give them a try one day soon. Mezeh just gives you so much food I can eat off my bowl for at least 2-days straight! The only thing I wish they had was babgounsh as they would set the bowl on fire! Service is always great no matter which location I frequent as this was the first time I came to this location. If you want something fresh and good for you don't hesitate to get you a bowl. It comes with two types of protein, lamb and chicken. I also had them add some classic hummus since the bowl includes a small fresh pita. The food was delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The service was good, and I especially liked the beverage options. Since it was a fabulous day, I decided to eat inside, where they had a comfortable padded bench. The only challenge? As the lunch rush picked up, a cold breeze swept through every time someone opened the door. A vestibule at the entrance would have helped, but to be fair, that was my only complaint. On 8/18/2021 I went back to Mezeh. I stood inline to check and see if they had any eggplant before ordering, they did, so I ordered. My order was finished by Steve who playfully called me out by saying, "I remember you from the other day, you walked out when we didn't have any eggplant." I burst out laughing. I visited this location today (07-20-23) around 1:05 pm. I walk in and I am the only one in line. There are 3 Mezeh workers working. The workers did not acknowledge me at all. I stand there for approximately 5 minutes before one of the workers finally looks up and just looks at me as if I was bothering her. So I say 2 bowls, she gets the bowls and then she saids "no rice" ten minutes. Do you want to wait? I say, yes. One other thing I should mention that makes this poor customer service even worst. While I was waiting the 5 minutes, the Mezeh workers prepared 4 to 5 web orders. Visited this location for the 1st time. QR code function didn't work b/c there wasn't connection to server and we were told they didn't have paper menus. Food was fine overall. Liked there were variety for drinks. Liked the eggplant and also the mango dressing. Server did not have mask covering her nose and didn't respond when I asked her to pull hers up will making my food. Asked a second time and then she moved it up to barely cover her nose. That was a turn off so I don't think I'd ever be back to that location. 3.5 stars for the food and 2 stars for the employee who I encountered. My boyfriend and I stopped in here last night to grab dinner for ourselves and his father. We each got a bowl, but I am not sure if the staff misunderstood us, but we all had to constantly repeat ourselves to make sure that they got our order right. I asked for 1/2 arugula and 1/2 brown rice in my bowl and at first, the worker put kale in. Before she could move on, I repeated my order saying I wanted 1/2 arugula and brown rice. Occasionally, I had to ask for more of the different toppings because they only gave me a little bit. In the end, when I was picking my sauce, I got so much sauce that I could barely eat my bowl and the lemon garlic sauce became so overwhelming I could barely taste the other flavors. If I go to this location again, I will probably ask for the sauce on the side so that this does not happen again.
