This place is a cool burger joint that has a great classic diner feel. I wasn't starving and didn't want to spend a ton of money so I played it safe and got the chicken fried steak kid's meal. This is a great deal! You get a decent sized portion of meat, a side of fries and a roll, plus a shake or drink. I got a chocolate shake - it was pretty good, but not as chocolatey as I would like. The chicken fried steak was nice and golden and very crispy! It was one of the best pieces of chicken fried steak I have ever had. The fries were good too! Nice and golden brown with a great crisp bite. Needless to say, I had no room for my roll. However, I somehow managed to grab a tiny taste of my friend's coconut cream pie - it was very delicious with a nice meringue on top! Sherman, TX is home to one cool (and off-the-beaten-track) eatery. MG's features about a dozen burgers, named with car themes. I had the Cadillac (cheese, bacon, mustard & all the veggies) with some onion rings and a Dr. Pepper (what else would I drink in Texas?). As burgers go, i rank this one very highly. It had great flavor and a bun that didn't fall apart. The rings were crispy and tasty. After ordering and paying at the counter, my food was delivered within a few minutes. One of the wait staff cheerfully offered to refill my soda several times. MG's isn't very large - there are tables and a few booths. The wall are adorned with automobile paraphernalia. If I'm ever back in Sherman, this is one of the first places I'll revisit. read more

My 8 year old grandson recommended this place and he was right on target. Great burgers and even better onion rings. The service was exceptional. They have a boss lady who's working the floor and overseeing the details- I like that! I'm a car guy and really enjoyed the decor. The car theme and 50's diner theme were catchy and well done. Little hole in the wall place just minutes off of hwy 75. They have a drive thru if you're in a big hurry but if you need a break it's worth going in and soaking in the atmosphere. I really wanted to try the nuts and bolts which is fried zucchini and fried pickles but I knew with the size if the burgers there was no way I would be able to eat all that. I ordered the Cadillac burger which was a bacon cheeseburger. The bun was excellent. Homemade! The burger itself was juicy and very tasty. The homemade onion rings were crunchy and light. Beat onion rings I've had in a couple of years. Reminded me of a place I went as a kid. The husband had the limo burger. It was a huge double burger with all the fixings. He didn't order fries and it's a good thing because dang that thing was huge! Service was super fast and friendly. read more

We are here today and had hamburger, fries and salad was great. Service after we sit down sucked with the exception of Erica. Very friendly and she came to out table about 5 times wanted to know if we needed anything. Always had a smile and seemed to always want to help. The rest of the young ladies didn't care if you were taken care of. They never acknowledged you when you said thank you. I will not go back anytime soon. Was passing through Sherman and wanted to eat. Yelp brought this place up and we were curious as to why a little place in the middle of a bunch of houses was getting such good reviews. We pull up and this tiny little place is surrounded with cars which to me is a good sign. The line was out the door but went relatively fast. The inside is this adorable 50's type diner, cars and license plates all over the place. The waitstaff is all smiles and friendly and as fast as they can be. The food.....omg it's so rare to find a good burger these days but this place is fantastic!! The burger was so flavorful, the bacon was the right amount of crispy, and the fries were real fresh cut fries. I feel like going into a food coma right now.
