Good s great and drinks are too. We love this place. We had the Mar y Tierra fajitas. It's a big plate but $34.95 The tres leches french toast is a must. When definitely shareable The service was lackluster and we were forgotten over and over. They weren't even that busy when we were there. We will be back

Came here for lunch on a Monday afternoon. I was working in the area and chose this gem. Inside it's beautiful and very lively. The wood slab tables are very nice. The mural in the back is spectacular. I ordered the Spicy Prawns Plate with refried beans, rice and homemade tortillas. Check the photos! The flavor was incredible! The prawns were huge and not overcooked! Perfect! The greens with strawberries tied everything together. Please support this local small business!

On our second visit, the experience was not as positive. When we arrived on a Sunday just before noon, the dining room was almost full. Besides the communal high table, and the outside dining, there was only one table for six inside. The server didn't want to give the table for six to our group of 4, so she made us stand around while she asked the busboy to clear one small table. When we sat down, we realized that the table is really suitable for two, as it was really tight for 4. Since there were no other tables for 4 available, we accepted the arrangement. We were peeved though when later on we saw a family of 4 came in and they gave them the table for six. We looked at the menu and it looked like breakfast items were still in effect. There were no burritos or chile rellenos or mole which we had last time. We ordered the breakfast enchiladas, chilaquiles, a chimichanga, and I requested and got the chile relleno. While the food was enjoyable, the server was not as attentive or friendly as our first visit. No one checked in with us or refill water, until we are ready for the bill. I noticed the prices seemed to be higher than I remembered. We left wondering if we will return.

This place is AMAZING, drinks and chilaquiles al 100! The service was on point, the ambiance was beautiful enough to listen to nice music while still paying attention to the chisme with my friend. 20/10 recommend, I had an espresso martini I forgot what my friend had but it was just as good

Mi Casa Grill is truly a gem! Just parking nearby you smell the delicious food being cooked up in the kitchen. This restaurant is beautiful and you know it is good when many of us locals are there on a Monday at lunch ready to eat. I love their brunch and got chilaquiles rojo with steak. So fresh, flavorful, and filling. Not to mention their beans are just made with love. Can't get enough of this spot!

I came here at night. It was cold even though it was summer time. But that's Bay Area. We sat down and ordered and the food was OK. It was fine, but not great. Also, the portions are much smaller and cost more. That's true everywhere but where I usually had food to take home, I finished everything. The people working there were quite nice as usual. And the food came out in a timely fashion. This was good because it's been a while since we've been here. I didn't realize how late it was but as it got closer to their time for closing, the crowd in the dining room dwindled down. There were a couple of to go requests. I'll be back, but it may be a while because I'm not eating out as much, but also, the prices. I may need to go down the menu to check out the tacos and such so that I can get something at a better price point for my wallet.

I came here for happy hour with friends. Great deal on happy hour items. And nice margaritas for $10. We ordered empanadas, tacos, and ceviche and everything tasted wonderful. I like that each empanada was a different flavor, something for everyone. The ceviche had a lot of avocado and veggies, and it tasted fresh. I will be back! I was surprised how busy they were around 5-6pm. Glad business is good. The wall art inside is a little bit weird. There was a picture of a lady holding a naked man-child? Maybe there's some cultural story behind it that I do not understand. Reminds me of Sabrina Carpenter's song Manchild .

The service here was great and I like the decor of the restaurant. I ordered a chicken enchilada platter. The flavoring was good but the tortillas were a little on the harder side. I loved the beans and rice, they were very good. I might come back and give some of their other menu a try.

A little pricey for Mexican food but I've been wanting to try them out since they opened the presentation was everything but my friend stated that the sopas were too hard she also got the short rib tacos we got here at happy hour so we both had the passion fruit margaritas it was excellent to eat I got the pupusa they were huge comes with 2 I also had the enchiladas chicken with green sauce of course we didn't eat everything so we took food home we just wanted to try things out my meal was really good but she gave them a C- I will go again

Stopped by on the way back from the bay to Sacramento. I was surprised how busy they were on a Monday around noon! We wanted to sit outside with our dog, and the patio was completely full. So we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The inside was clean and aesthetically pleasing but everyone wanted to be outside enjoying the patio and the weather! The servers were very kind, but unfortunately we felt we waited a very long time to get our food, water, silverware and the check. By the time we sat down almost everyone eating had left, so I thought we would be served pretty quickly. We asked for a sparkling water and they brought it out within minutes, but we had to ask 5 times for them to bring us some ice water for my boyfriend. It was not pleasant for him to watch me drink my water while he waited about 30 minutes for his water. When we got our appetizer (the giant flauta) they didn't give us any plates or silverware so we had to wait another 5 or so minutes to get our utensils to actually eat. They just seemed unorganized in how they served us. Not sure why, because it was pretty empty while we were eating. The food was actually very delicious! The flauta had some slow cooked pork which we enjoyed thoroughly. We also ordered the esquite (corn with epazote and chunks of cotija cheese), this was soooo good! Definitely for people who like some spice! Next, we ordered quesabirria tacos and some regular tacos- al pastor, and carne asada. The quesabirria tacos were good, although the meat was very fatty. But we really enjoyed their al pastor tacos. They were juicy and flavorful. Overall, we loved their food, and the servers were personable and even offered our dog a water. But, they seemed disorganized and we felt frustrated with the slow service.

We've lived in Hercules for over 30 years and are creatures of habit, so it was nice to venture the 10-minute drive to San Pablo. We were not impressed by the exterior strip mall building, but the interior of Mely's is very cute, homey, and clean. (I even peeked into the kitchen since the door was open.) I wanted pancakes, but got waffles instead since W ordered the blueberry buttermilk stack. We both had a side of eggs, his scrambled and mine sunny side up. The eggs were delish; mine in particular was perfectly cooked with slightly crunchy edges, a beautiful, silky, runny yolk, and no uncooked whites. The blueberry pancakes are so good! Of course they are huge and I ate some of them in addition to my waffle. We could have split just the pancakes and been perfectly happy. They cook berries inside the homemade batter and top them with a house-made blueberry compote. Maple syrup and soft butter on the side. The waffles are crispy outside with a light, airy, center, dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon. I had strawberries on the side (+$5 !!). Since I ate some of W's pancakes, we took half the waffles home. W had a drip coffee--no decalf available so I had the fresh-squeezed OJ. It was a large glass so I took half of that home, too. The coffee was nothing to rave about, but it was coffee. Service was friendly and efficient--there is only one cook and one server, and it seems several of us arrived at the same time on this Sunday morning. Overall a wonderful find that we will return to so we can explore more dishes. We saw omelets and Benedict's come out that looked amazing! Plus, I want to try the dinner menu, which also looked pretty amazing.

I had the Marina Burger. The idea of goat cheese sounded good...not on a burger, however...zero seasoning to either of our double patties, so adding whatever doesn't help...no discernible flavor other than overwhelming sloppy goat cheese. The bacon was rubbery...and interesting, also no flavor...bacon w/o flavor?! Ugh. Patties cooked fine...just nothing special. The onions were horrible - sloppy, overcooked...just unappealing. Now I ordered the garlic parm fries...these are horrid. ALL the parm and garlic was at the *bottom,* not a topping, nothing sticked to the fries. Had to eat them with a fork, scooping this non-flavorful topping up w/ the fries...and the garlic is the worst I have ever had...zero flavor, and the parm? Where? It was there, only again, zero flavor. The fries at this place are frozen and have no potato flavor *at all*...so all in all none of either of our meals had any flavor profile or layering...it was simply food...the after taste of grill - smoke flavor is yuck...unenjoyable food all around experience.
