Very disappointed. When you place an order on the phone they tell you 15 to 20 min. That's not the case. You get to the restuarant and none of your food have been made so they make you wait at least another 30 to 40 minutes for an order that was supposed to be done in 20. The cashier that's been there over the last year is extremely rude. Yelled at me for asking for small sauce cups and refused to give me any.. She didn't see me order food with her co-worker. She micro manages sauce and condiments which is pretty petty when I've spent hundreds of dollars there over the last year. The food is ok. Some dishes are hit n miss. The California burritos were really good, they were just missing some pico de gallo but there is a salsa bar where you can add it on yourself which is great! So let me explain that I have been coming to this taco shop for almost 20 years now. It has always been my entire family's and friend very first choice when it comes to a great authentic quick dinner stop but After last nights ordeal with the non stop rudeness at the counter and the most absurd "salsa" situation I've just had it and I have to speak up. Let me first say that the lack of salsa has Gone from chincy to outright naziism. If you can't even provide me with even a decent amount of salsa to eat my $60.00 worth of Mexican food then there's a real problem. Dare you ask the girl for one or two more because you are going get told how you will have to pay extra for that. To top it off by the time I got home which is 5 minutes away all 5 tacos were completely soggy and so broken they weren't even edible without a fork and a bowl. I have to believe that people are just tired of it themselves cause the last few months on taco Tuesday it's not half as busy as it always had been. I know for a fact that my family is now done with Mi Pueblo and until I hear it's changed and they've hired pleasant employees then I won't be back. There are many other options nowadays. read more

Everything was going smooth until after I ordered. 29 minutes later I received my order, after asking twice about it. 29 minutes for 2 carne asada burritos and nachos. My wife and I have been coming here for 5 yrs, food is always good and fresh. But the young lady st the counter was so rude, she took are order from my wife wrong and charged us $34.00 bucks, my wife looked at her receipt and pointed out what was wrong, so with her lack of customer service. I'm a fan. California burrito was really good. (I didn't care for the way they thinly sliced and chopped the carne asada, but the taste and quality was on point, so I'm still a fan.) My wife's bean and cheese burrito was awesome as well with flavorful beans and a handful of melted cheese. Great shredded beef taco too- not too greasy (as is often the case at these type of places) and jammed full of cheese. Second time coming here for taco Tuesday. They've raised the price but it's still decent pricing for the taco size. My rating is because the place is small and it was a little stuffy. And I guess they decided to clean the restrooms or hall while we were eating and the smell of fabuloso or pinesol was so strong I got nauseous. I had to pack up my food and leave. Chicken, beef and fish tacos all fantastic, fresh. Reasonable price , with large portions. We also ordered the Carne Asada Burrito ..utterly filled with meat, very fresh. Enchilada, tamales, pizzoli and albondigas all top notch. THIS is serious comfort food. The counter staff is courteous, and friendly. The kitchen staff really working hard . The 3 older woman behind the counter... especially the 2 working tonight are so rude and racist af! We eat there twice a week minimum but i'm over it! And mean while the woman were touching money, their faces, bagging food and salsas and giving drinks with no masks.. hair hanging over everything and never washed their hands in between! 1 is a manager... gross!!! I've met the owner who was super friendly a few months ago... hoping she reads this and changes things because service like this will put you out of business and at a minimum get the health department called! My mom said this place had the best taquitos around so we decided to stop by. When I first walked in, I immediately noticed the trash, most of the tabletops were dirty, rice under tables and just a bunch of trash all over the floor. The clean walls and nice decor couldn't mask the filthy tables and floors. There were three people ahead of us and one cashier, which wouldn't bother me normally, except for the fact that there were three other employees hanging out next to the beer fridge instead of doing something productive like cleaning the dirty floors, or taking out the overflowing trash bins, but I'll getting more of that later. We got to the front of the line, and proceed to order. My mother ordered the #9 two flautas, and even ordered an extra one since she they were so good the last time she had it. I had a carnitas burrito. The cooks were on fire, pushing out orders quickly and I appreciated their hard work. We got our food in less than 10 minutes. And yes, it was good. The flautas were made of flour tortillas, which tasted great but my mother expected corn tortillas. The rice and beans were perfectly, the hot salsa wasn't really hot but good nonetheless. The carnitas burrito had no frills, all I tasted was meat, salsa and guac, which is perfect for me! The meat was tender and not greasy. This place has good food, but they have some workers that are lazy. In the time it took to get our food I saw a group of three workers (one girl in uniform, one tattooed girl in normal clothes and a chubby guy in normal clothes), plop down next to the beer fridge and eat, laugh and drink a few bottles of coke, all the meanwhile this one girl Seleny (I asked for her name), ran around and literally did everything except cool the damn food. She had to take orders, deliver food, expedite orders to the cooks, clean tables, refill the salsa, clean up trash and answer customer questions in a patient, polite manner. It's terrible that this girl had no help. Not only is the lack of help from the three amigos inconsiderate to their own coworkers, all the customers could see it too. The few tables around me were all talking about it. My rating for this place: two stars for the food, one star for the girl who ran the operation like a boss. read more

I called in on Father's day and placed a large order for 12 people. I ordered it about 45 minutes before we planned on picking it up and they told me it would only be about 15 -20 minutes to make. I wanted to come try this place because they serve vegetarian tacos. Pretty cheap at $2 a taco and the tacos are a pretty decent size. They were pretty good! Not so good to where I would get a craving for them but I would absolutely eat them again. To my disappointment, they do not serve black beans and there is lard in the refried beans but they offered to specially make me beans without lard which was SO nice of them.
