Wow I live down the street and come here all the time. Sometimes twice in one day. The service is always great. Today though I was helped by a lady, I came there this morning for a mini burro and a cup of coffee. She told me they don't have mini cali burros which they do I know this because I get them often but she was sure of it. Once the cook told her they did make those she had a really bad attitude and seemed like she was talking about me with another lady there. Then I came for lunch and asked for two salsa cups for my rice beans and two Flautas she refused and told me it's a rule. Idk but it seems that the lady who helped me is into making peoples days worse not better. From now on I will go a crossed the street they are always cool and are family ran. read more

The only Mexican place that comes close is Jilbertos for shredded beef tacos. The bomb for shredded beef but on taco Tuesdays, sometimes for $1.25, not their best. Better than any for miles, though. Hubby stumbled among this place a few months back when he was at the 99 cent store. I was sick at home and he decided to stop in and get me some rolled tacos. Our first impression was they were much larger (round) than most other places you go to. And then when we actually took a bite...Wow!! The beef was so tender and juciy!! The best we had found since moving here two years ago. We decided to go back after I got better and try Taco Tuesday. We were not disappointed! Again the beef is tender, juicy and the taco are full with beef, lettuce and cheese. We've been back several times and have not been disappointed. The rolled tacos were okay but for two items 18 diklars later i wont be returning here ever again. Definitely not as good as it us to be. I live one mile down the street, in Sun City. Never stopped in there before. Then the wife bought a couple tacos from there.....I loved them. Then I dropped in on Taco Tuesday. Got a dozen chicken tacos last monday, . Man, those tacos were fat and tasty along with the right moistness and good flavor. The service? Very very good. We love the $1.25 taco Tuesdays. If you come on Tuesday plan for a bit of a wait because from about 4:30 on the line goes out the door (yes its popular among the locals). Four starts because I've only tried two things from here but because I enjoy these two things I have faith that the other menu items are also as good, the two items Me and my husband have had are the the Chicken Taquitos and the Carne Asada Fries. I love the crisp of the taquitos and non oily aspect of them, the toppings of cheese and guacamole are always fresh tasting and doesn't slide off when you bite into them and another plus is the good amount of meat in them, which I feel I get cheated out of meaty taquitos at other places, hand down my favorite local place to satisfy my taquito cravings. As for the Carne asada fries they are also good in a fresh non oily aspect my only issue is the crane bland definitely not a deal breaker because it's still all works well together. read more

Well, it is the first time that we tried this place and I am going to tell you that this is the worst Mexican food place I have ever been to. I could practically say that this is the worst restaurant overall I have ever been to altogether. Not only was it not authentic but the food had absolutely no taste to it. We found a bug in our chips and they actually put lettuce all over the top of their enchiladas. The red sauce was horrible and the cheese was so thick I couldn't ever cut through it with the flimsy fork and knife they supplied. The food was not even cheap, we paid over $33! Save your pretty penny and eat at Del Taco across the street, it is my much more flavorful and cheaper. read more

I was blown away: I had a chance to get a walk through of their restaurant. I was surprised by how clean and professionally set up everything was. Far greater than my expectations. The food is good. Their guacamole is hands down the best thing on their menu. I sampled about a half dozen menu items, all were made really well. I'll start with the positives, decent local restaurant with good food. Past that it's a mess. I called in to order my food so I would be able to pick it up and head back to my wife and kid who don't get much time with me. Instead I was put on hold and forgot about for 5 minutes with no check in saying just a moment, just complete silence. So some time of giving them a chance I hung up and tried to call again. They put their phone line on busy and wouldn't accept anymore calls. So I drove down, waited in line, placed my order and, was met with rude abrupt cashiers. The cashier wasn't even some young lady, it was someone that I'd expect to have enough time on this Earth to learn some sense.I understand if it's been a long day or even week but still doesn't excuse taking out on customers and having them pick up the slack cause we work too. Just overall a bad experience at a subpar establishment. Don't eat here if you like pleasant service. read more

I order food frequently at Mi Pueblo. They are courteous, the food is good and very reasonable. I had a poor experience this week tho. I ordered 3 egg/chorizo/potatoe burritos. Normally the food is done in 10 min. tops. I waited 45 minutes with many orders from customers who ordered after me being picked up first. Then I found out that all of the burritos were filled with just chorizo, nothing else. Communication issue? I will go back, just may ask the counter person to repeat all back to me. read more

Today I went in we ordered 9 taco 4 were carne asada. It took 45 mins for 9 tacos because someone placed ordered 31 carne asada burritos and basically they couldn't handle the order. Instead of cooking extra for that big order they gave them all the meat they had made everyone who had already ordered wait too long. Then when I asked about the order the cashier got upset said sorry we had an order for 30 burritos. It wasn't what she said it was how she said it. People are willing to wait for food because the food is awesome but if the customer service sucks that's when you got a problem. Also the same cashier was taking our order talking to me in English but when my husband started to tell her his order she spoke to him in Spanish. Had a really bad experience when I went in for breakfast. I asked for an egg white substitute and they refused to give me one. I said I would pay extra, whatever they wanted to charge me but management said she had to ask the cooks. The cooks didn't want to for an unknown reason.
