Let's start off with the torta that had a giant green tomato when I know tomatoes are red doggie bread too much beans no lettuce no chili just a plain meat and bean torta my alpastor burrito must have been double wrapped because it was long and thin.. Next the horchata was too powdery... The salsa bar needs to be upgraded because the salsas were watery and the carrots are not pickled so that will do it read more

Crazy good food, very competitive prices...if you have an extra $5, you can get 3 or 4 tacos on Taco Tuesday...always great, but crowded on Tuesday. Oh, for the guy who complained about the take-out...if you want it ready when you get there, tell them that on the phone, otherwise, they put your order in queue, but they don't get it ready til you arrive and pay, so that it's hot when you walk out the door. My family went to eat dinner there a few days ago and ALL of us ended up with food poisoning! The food tasted ok, but my husband said that my son's fries tasted a little off. By that night all 3 of us were sick, and here we are on day 3 and still have symptoms and trying to recover. Maybe the front of the restaurant looks clean, but my guess is they don't clean out the oil in their fryer. We each got something completely different but we all got sick. The only thing in common with our food was something was fried (son had french fries, I had rolled tacos, my husband had sopes). This is unfortunate because the food tasted pretty good, but this is the SECOND time one of us has gotten sick from this place, so we are never going back again!! read more

Just moved to Riverside county from Los Angeles where I have lived for most of my life. I think I know a thing or two about Mexican food. Came to this place like many others because I saw it as I left the 99cent store. Came on a Tuesday. Of course, bad idea..duh..taco Tuesday. However, before you start saying stuff about me & my critique, put yourself as the owner of an establishment. Common sense as well as business 101 tells you that you should plan ahead for your busy time. The same way stores hire temp employees over the holidays. Now, back to Mi Pueblo. Obviously, the owner missed this business lesson as it took me 28min to get my order of taquitos with guacamole. (lack of cooks??? who knows??)At least that is what it said on the menu. Tell the truth..4 taquitos with a 1/4 spoonful of guacamole with a 1/2 cup of shredded cheese on top. The pico de gallo....average. The red chile they called salsa ...this stuff was so watery I could have watered the grass. Extremely dissapointed. Citizens of Menifee, I know many of you have never traveled to LA or to the areas where Mexican food is served but believe me, you have done your tastebuds a disservice. Always has flies inside. When I asked for more than two salsa cups she said "we can't". Foods just ok, on the greasy side.

I have only been here for breakfast so I can't quite give it 5 stars until I try more of their dishes. It's a place where you have to order at the counter and they bring your food to you. My huevos rancheros were really good with sautéed onions and peppers, and the refried beans had plenty of cheese. I am anxious to go back and try their tacos. Mi Pueblo had good food when it first opened, but now it's tuned to slop. I ordered a carnitas burrito, with rice, pico de gallo and no beans. I got loosely rolled mess with just meat and a soggy leaf of lettuce. Who puts lettuce in a burrito? The whole thing was cold slimy and disgusting. I'll never go there again. read more

Food is decent and prices are reasonable. I believe it is thriving in Menifee due to the lack of alternatives. We have had just about everything on the menu.
