The people that have been going here forever know that it's the best place for mexican food in menifee. You just have to try it to find out. Yes the food is good. We recently moved out of the area but I was nearby about three weeks ago and decided to get lunch there. The older lady taking my order never gave me eye contact but looked over my head several times to greet others coming in. When I stated what I would like she corrected me with the menu #. When I was given the total I asked if they had raised their prices she then finally looked at me and said yes with a smile. I said no thank you and left. I would have paid for the food just not the rudeness... This is not the first time with this older lady I guess she thinks the business is too successful to treat the customers nicely. Busy taco joint, so my suggestion is you call and place your order ahead of time, especially on Tuesdays. I have only ever ordered their potato and guacamole tacos, which I really enjoy! I was able to try their street tacos today. El pueblo and another business had a grand opening celebration. El Pueblo offered $1 street tacos. They offered chicken, carne asada, and al pastor tacos. I tried 1 of each. The best ones were the al pastor tacos. As part of the grand opening celebration Mi Pueblo offered complimentary horchata, and complimentary chips and salsa. The grand opening celebration also included Jumpers for the kids, bicycle stunt contests, bicycle stunt shows, free face painting, free popcorn, free cotton candy, and free cupcakes.
