For the sauce we got 2 peach honey pepper, 2 Bo's special sauce, 2 honey mustard, 2 jalapeño ranch, 2 house made ranch. We all loved the fries. My wife and I loved the Cole slaw. The kids loved the Mac n cheese. We needed more sauce, butter, honey and grape jam. Ivan a manager brought us more. The consensus is we all loved Bo's special sauce and jalapeño ranch. I was the only one who liked the peach honey pepper and I put it on my biscuit. All the chicken was gone, so I added 25 tenders and 5 sauces. It took me a couple of u-turns to get there but once I was in there was plenty of parking and I had it inside. First thing you notice off to the right is the biscuit making station. I got to watch one of the guys roll out the dough and cut the biscuits and put them in the oven. It's nice to see things being made fresh right in front of you. Went up to the counter to order is when I discovered they do not do bone-in chicken. That is all chicken strips. Regardless, I decided to order a family pack which came with 12 strips, two sides or fixings as they call them, for biscuits and a half gallon of sweet tea. So everything looked delicious. I got the order to go, brought it home and was not disappointed. It was definitely the same Bojangles taste that I recall from when I had them on the East Coast except in a chicken strip form. I had asked the girl at the counter why no bone in and apparently like it is a East Coast versus West Coast thing where West Coast Bojangles only serve chicken strips. Who knew? I will say this. The people that worked there were super friendly and super nice, and were very willing to help and tell me about all the sauces and everything has. It was my first time I've been to a Bojangles in a long time. The meal was great. I have no complaints. The sweet tea was on point, you're not as sweet as like a Chick-fil-A, but definitely up there in the sweet category. Bottom line? To my surprise he got his order first. Now I get it, he may have called in and order before I got there. That really wasn't what bothered me. I didn't see any bacon so I opened up the bun and there was tomato on it but no bacon. I took it back up to the counter and I said excuse me. This was supposed to be a bacon. Cheeseburger. He still didn't want to believe me until the gentleman who received his order ahead of me piped in and said I think I got your order, as I didn't order a burger with bacon. I turned and looked at the guy behind the counter who said absolutely nothing but took my tray and went in the kitchen. He spoke to the cook who was at the grill, and I watched as she grabbed a couple slices of already pre-cooked bacon put it on the grill for maybe 10 seconds and then put it on my burger. He then brought it out to me. Sat it down in front of me and said nothing .... nada ... No I'm sorry, Here's your food ... Nothing. It kind of felt like I was in prison getting a meal put between the bars. To top it off, the fries were anything but crispy at all. While they were warm, they were very soggy and limp. Nowhere near extra crispy. The only redeeming factor about the burger, was the meat. The burger meat itself was very good and flavorful, the bacon was lukewarm at best, and there was absolutely no dressing on the hamburger. I mean not even a spread of mayonnaise or anything. I had asked for some mustard. They said they didn't have packets of mustard. But they did bring some ketchup so I had to add that to the burger. As I was looking around the place they had a sign by the phone that said how to answer the phone and it had a written out phrase. On the other side of the restaurant was what is a customer, and had a list of things that they should recognize the customer for. It may have been a good idea for whoever is working there to reread that because absolutely 100%! That was not my experience. It was a real disappointment, as I wanted to like this place so much. Based on this meal, I probably will not visit another Chicago's Best again. Bottom line? If this is really Chicago's. Best, I think I will try different state. I want to re-emphasize, I really, really wanted to like this place, but the absolute lack of customer service really put me off.
