    Seafood pasta with spaghetti.

5/4/22 Just back from Florida, we needed to bring in a few things from the local market and have dinner. We chose to go to the Mattituck market and Michaelangelo pizzeria next door. We enjoyed a wonderful meal that included a seafood pasta that hubby enjoyed very much. It included a variety of seafood including mussels clams, shrimp and a lobster tail! One of the specials that were offered this evening was a pork chop Milanese with a wonderful salad on top. The pork was juicy, tender and flavorful We both enjoyed our dinner and settled back into life on the east end. It was great seeing Brenda and our server Alicia could not have been more attentive.

    The extra bread in question

It was my second time there the first time I was like wow it's pretty good pizza left happy went in again and there was a line we didn't have problem waiting we waited ordered food three slices 1x penne pasta to go with EXTRA BREAD and 1 drink then, we wanted a refill we had to wait in line again fine, wasn't bothered. We finished our slices and then they called us for our penne pasta and when we look we asked for extra bread she looked at the bread cut it into 3 pieces and said it was the extra and I was baffled it was. 10" pasta plate with three tiny pieces of bread and I also asked for extra there was no extra I'm like the bread will be eaten in three bites it's only good for fast food but it were to order to go I don't recommend they'll just overcharge you and give you less then expected. I was disappointed because I thought I found a good place for once boy was I wrong. They charged me for extra bread when all they did was cut the bread that normally comes with.

The best buffalo chicken pizza !! It's our go to place for pizza, each slice is like a meal. Eat two slices and you'll end up taking a nap.

The new people who run/ own are so nice at the mattituck location! They made a delicious vegan vegetable pizza, little pricey but good!

This place not only passed the vibe check, it's on its own level of coolness that demanded a vibe check of me. From the glittery epoxy floors, to the hand carved wooden creatures, colorful, creative and unique ceiling murals, multiple textures, and art deco and pop art features throughout, you feel fully immersed in an artist's dream from the second you walk in. The lighting and the French music playing overhead also lend themself to the unique experience. I ordered a margarita and 2 sips in, I found myself even more relaxed and enjoying more and more of the decor details of the cafe that I continued to notice throughout. The menu offered so many options, including quite a few vegan options, but I settled on the watermelon salad (weekly special), the boats n hoes spring rolls (veggie), and the Vegan Burger. The watermelon salad was so fresh and delicious, and it complemented my (2nd!) margarita perfectly! The spring rolls were perfectly crispy and flavorful and the vegan burger was the star of the show and was absolutely perfect, especially with the added fresh avocado on top! This place was somehow made even more fantastic by the quick-witted, fun-loving, hilarious owner/host/server, Marco, who provided us with great service and even better stories (were they all true??!!!). I highly recommend entering this magical establishment as soon and as often as possible so that you can count yourself lucky enough to have experienced it.

I was looking for a restaurant in the Mattituck area after visiting a nearby farm with the family…read more I found a restaurant that was nearby and we walked aground the area to see what was there. The restaurant we originally picked had a 20 minute wait... and with two hangry toddlers, we crossed the street and saw a restaurant sign on top of a neat looking bar. It is actually next to a bar as well, so we eyeing sure it was for the kids. I stood outside and the clock struck 2pm, and a nice gentleman opened the velvet rope for us and said "come in, we were open." Not knowing if this was for the kids or not, we walked in and saw one of the most interesting interiors I have seen in awhile. It was fun and different. The manager made it fun as well as he has a great attitude and happy to help in terms of recommendations. The menu itself is big and you will need some help. The first thing was needing to get food to two little hangry ones, so we asked for noodles, which he got on immediately, getting in a pancit order. That came out first and my wife and I took a few extended moments as the menu is extensive. I ordered the chicken and waffle with bang bang shrimp and my wife had the steak with rice and onions. Both dishes were flavorful and definitely enjoyable. I could definitely go back in again if I ever head back or East, but maybe taking the Long Island railroad would be better since it is across the street from the train station. Definitely stop in for a drink and enjoy the cool little toys and designs around the restaurant. This restaurant definitely provides variety of you want to try something new!

This may not be the spot to go to in the winter. Though, if we were local, I could see us hanging out at the bar, watching a game and noshing on fare from the Little Oak Pizza Kitchen. The chow from the kitchen is fresh and tasty though some of it is a bit over priced but HEY! You're wine tasting out East! FUGGHEDABOUTIT! 5 gigantic shrimp for about $20. Tasty but maybe not worth $4/shrimp. Your best bet is to go with their pizzas which are pretty awesome. Juuuuuuust big enough for two (unless you're a total gavone, then you might need one just for yourself). We recommend the Buddy Boy which features sopresseta and hot honey. Jazz it up with additional spicy sausage. NOW you're eating! The outdoor tasting area is relaxed. There's a covered section that ensures you're out of the sun and any stray shower. Larger, Oktoberfest-style tables off to the side and clusters of Adirondack chairs under a stand of trees. No views of vines to speak of but you feel like you're visiting your rich friends' exceedingly well-landscaped backyard. A completely relaxing experience and, being just west of Jamesport proper, you don't spend your entire afternoon slogging to points further east. One of our favorite spots! Cheers!
