Do not go here. The service is slow and terrible, which is surprising considering there never appears to be anyone there. They are just in it for the money. They kept my brothers car for several days to fix one part that they claimed to have but they had to order later. The entire process was an overpriced inconvenience. I went to this place for the first and the last time. I scheduled for an oil change. The manager couldn't answer a question as simple as which type of oil they use, 5W30 or 10W30. They said the oil change comes with a free courtesy inspection ... great ... when I read the report I realized the guy just checked boxes on the form ... maybe he did not feel like doing it or was tired ... or just did not care ... he stated that the tread on the front and rear tires is the same ... it is definitely not, I had it measured few times before and I know the exact numbers ... plus other thing they falsely claimed that they checked. To top all this incompetence and non professionalism, when I asked them to check my coolant and top it off if needed with CORRECT coolant they just added a generic fluid. my car needs the correct coolant grade otherwise it turns brown instead of pink/red. This can damage the engine and cooling system. I had my system flushed somewhere else. I don't understand how can you mess up very basic maintenance jobs ... read more

LADIES TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!.... THIS LOCATION USES CHEAP REPLACEMENT PARTS TO KEEP YOU COMING BACK!!! Let me start with the fact, that I take very good care of my car. Regular oil changes at the dealership just in case they notice something during their multi-point inspection. New tires every two years when the tread starts to get low. Required manufacturer's maintenance when scheduled (fluid changes, tune-up, etc.). I take no chances with my car. So, you can only imagine how living with a brake problem is affecting me. I initially got new brake pads from Midas a few years back. The first set lasted a little over a year. Since the brakes were under warranty for replacement. I came back to Midas to get replacement pads. Honestly, this really is not a deal since you pay almost as much for labor as you would, to have new brake pads installed somewhere else. But I did it anyway. This time the brake pads did not last a year. 2-3 months shy of a year. I returned to Midas and informed them of such. At this point they told me they WOULD NOT replace the brakes without replacing my rotors. My rotors had never been resurfaced and no other location had ever suggested new rotors. But being that I felt the more maintenance I performed, the better off I would be in the long run, I agreed to have both the front rotors replaced, the front brake pads replaced and the brake fluid exchanged. I really wanted to put brake issues behind me since I sit on 285 daily. I had this work completed the end of October. One evening late February, (4 mths. later) while leaving work, and merging onto 285 my brakes gave this horrible scrubbing/grinding sound and I felt it slip. It shook me up for a moment, so I proceeded on my way home very cautiously. Next day I took my car to Precision Tune because it was closer to where I live, and Midas is closer to where I work. I paid a fee just for Precision to tell me they saw nothing wrong with my brakes. So I wrote it off as a fluke occurrence. But then I noticed this continued to happen intermittently. One morning on my commute to work it happened as frighteningly as it did before. The entire ride into work every time I tapped the brakes, my car sounded like a truck coming a streaking halt. It is a very embarrassing sound. I called Midas from my car and told them I needed to bring it in at lunch. Unfortunately, when they checked the car it failed to replicate the issue I was having. The technician said the brake pads were thick. He suggested I get my back brakes replaced. I knew better than to replace my back brakes because Precision had already told me they were good. I knew the problem was with the combination of the front pads and rotors because I could hear and feel where the scrubbing/grinding was originating. I knew at this point I would need to return when the problem was consistent. I continued to have the issues during morning and evening commute. But Midas was closed by the time I got off work and I could not afford to keep taking 2-3 hour lunches, running to Midas hoping the issue would replicate itself. I had hoped that since the issue was documented, Midas would attempt to rectify a known issue. That's where I was wrong. Midas harbored on the fact that it had been almost 8 months since the brakes were installed. And the brake pads were still thick. I didn't argue against that. I argued that the issue did not just arise. Apparently, I was given either thick defective or thick cheap parts in October. I did not believe I needed to replace my rotors when they said it was mandatory. I did not believe it because when I asked to see my old rotors, it was almost impossible to even see what they identified as damage needing urgent replacement. To no avail, I left today with the same cheap noisy brake pads and grinding rotor combination. I'm at a loss for what I need to do at this point. I spent a lot of money to not have any brake issues for at least 12-18 months. I started having them 4 months after installation. But I promised Midas I would urge every female on social media and the web to STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!! Now I do not deny they present a good front as if they are truly trying to do what is in your best interest. But when I asked the manager if he changed his brakes and rotors every 4-8 months, he replied no. But a female should expect to have to change pads that often????? I think not. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS with this Midas or any other location again!!! read more

Do not bother going here. I showed up with a 16 year old Honda Accord that had muffler problems. I asked for them to look into welding in a new pipe on it since I am well aware how old the car is and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on it. Two days after dropping it off, I get a call where someone listed off a million issues the car had and asked for $2700 to do repairs. Mind you, this did not even include the muffler I had brought it in for. I told them no and asked why they were even giving me this list. I was given some entirely fictional line of bull that they have a legal obligation to tell me everything they found wrong with my car. Really? Cause I've never, EVER had that from another mechanic. I refused the extra services, told them to just fix what I brought it there for, and then I get another call a couple hours later telling me that they would need to replace my whole muffler....for $1000. For a muffler. No. I am not an idiot and immediately recognized how outrageous a price that was. I told them to take my car off the lift and I came to get it. I have since taken it to another mechanic who is replacing the muffler for $425. My new mechanic was offended that this company would ever try to charge someone that much for a new muffler. It's utterly ridiculous. This place is a total scam and they WILL try to rip you off if they can. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

The worst service I ever experienced in my life! I took my car in on a Friday for a simple wheel barring fix, a one to two day job, that turned into a SIX DAY ordeal!!! Called saturday to check on my car only to hear that the wrong part was ordered. Im mad but its normal, so I ask, ok when will it be done? The answer I received was I don't know....Really? thats it? I said is there anybody else I could talk to and get more details on the situation? I was told Frank, the manager and the one working on my car, went to go get parts and he'll call you when he gets back. No one called. They were closed on Sunday and on Monday I went back up there were they explained to me that not only did they order the wrong part but they broke my spindal! They said they would have it ready by the end of the day.I had to find a ride to work. I had to call consumer relations and the district manager to finally get them to start working on my car. When I got back to the shop I was told my car would be ready within the hour. Finally after another hour and half, they said my car was ready and closed out my ticket and I paid for the services (they offered a minor discount). When I was waiting on my keys, an associate comes back to tell me oh, your car isn't ready and he ordered the wrong part again! I said so why have I waited this long for something that you knew wasn't fixed and paid for something you knew wasn't fixed?? I was disgusted!! I was hurt!!! I felt like they took my patience for weakness and thought they could get over on me!!! I asked for my money back, only to get attitude from Frank saying the district manager can deal with you tomorrow!!! I had to call consumer relations AGAIN and the district manager AGAIN!!! At this point I couldn't believe any updates from the shop anymore because they lied to me too many times so I would only speak to the district manager who finally went to the shop on Wednesday to make sure my car was ready. I received my car back Wednesday evening only to find out that I still had to pay because "corporate" wouldn't let them give me any more discounts!!! I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR THERE AGAIN IN MY LIFE!!! NOT TO ANY MIDAS!!!! You always expect a mechanic to try to get over, but you never expect to feel raped afterwards and thats how I felt!!! i took my car here after it failed an emissons test and got jerked around by frank. i was initially told that it wasnt the catalytic converter and that all it needed was a good tune up. so i spent money on the tune up..only to have my car fail again. frank sarcastically told me "well your car was due for a tune up anyway". that wasnt the point. i was only looking to spend money on whatever was stopping my car from passing. i was then told that it needed oxygen sensors..spent money on that. again it failed emissions.then the story changed and i was told that i need a catalytic converter afterall and that it would cost 1,000 dollars. i had had enough at that point and took my car elsewhere. they charged me only 500 dollars for the catalytic converter and my car passed. so that is what was needed all along. im sure they knew that at midas but was just making me spend money on other unnecessary things. i will never take my car back. i dont trust them. read more
