I love The Porch! I go pretty regularly for happy hour and have been there for brunch. My favorite…read morethings to order are the fried green tomatoes, beignets, and the spicy chicken sandwich. The food is delicious, but the staff is what makes it one of my favorite places in Sacramento. Shelby, and Corbett are both amazing bartenders and make our time there very enjoyable, also make delicious craft cocktails. I can't say enough about the Porch. Keep up the good work, guys!

There is plenty of paid street parking nearby. The interior of the restaurant feels hipster and fresh. The host and servers were very friendly. They offered their insight on what menu items we should order. I will say our food took forever to come out. We were only a party of 7 so I guess I can see why but it easily felt like 30 minutes for our meal to arrive. Some dishes came out way after the others came out. I wasn't really feeling anything on the menu. I ended up getting a dish that I normally wouldn't try since it seemed lol my best option. The Po Boy was actually a pleasant surprise. It was crunchy and its flavor complimented the bread nicely. The ranch made the pickled onions pop and it was a decent sandwich size too. The fries were warm and crunchy. The prices are about average for a 2026 brunch spot. I'd say expect to walk out of here for about ~$35+ for a meal for two. I don't really have anything negative to say about my meal or experience here except for how long our meal took to arrive. And for that, I had to deduct a star. Bottom line/TLDR: great shrimp sandwiches!

I recently purchased some espresso beans, and it is single origin, small batched woman owned, organic, simply amazing stuff. I'm so glad they have a newer location near me in Fair Oaks! Generally not the type of place you find accidentally. I don't feel like that changes at all once you walk in the door. It''s not a loud place, almost every time I've been here, it seems to be parties of 3 or less, but usually less than that, either studying or getting work done on a laptop while drinking a coffee relishing in the quaint quiet steadiness of the shop. The spot kinda looks like it's always still under construction but after many visits I realize now that's just the decor. Parking is available here in a nearby lot though ample street parking seems to be the spot I choose on most visits. The employees are not annoyingly enthusiastic yet they are friendly, but more in an energy that matches the room kinda friendly. There are plenty of tables for customers at this shop along with my favorite pair of recliner-type chairs near the front of the store. This particular visit we decided we just wanted coffee and we went with an Iced Vanilla Latte ($7.50) and a Sea Salt and Honey Shaken Espresso ($6.75). The drinks came out very quickly-less than a five minute wait. I've always adored the Sea Salt Honey Espresso drink, as it's been my go-to at Old Soul ever since I discovered it there. This visit was no different as it was still so yummy and the perfect afternoon pick-me-up as I set out for a busy rest of the day. The wifey loved her vanilla iced latte, Old Soul has always used quality coffee beans and that looks like that hasn't changed as their coffee is as tasty as ever. Old Soul does offer pastries but we never really had a chance to try them on this visit as we had multiple food plans later that day but I can say from experience-I've always enjoyed their pastries when I was lucky enough to order one. In closing, Old Soul Coffee is a Sacramento staple as they have a few locations located all over the city and I've always had a genuine great coffee shop experience and this location was no different-highly recommend.

The weather was beautiful and sunny that we were seated outside the patio area. The wait wasn't too bad on a Saturday. About 45 minutes and knowing where we are on the waitlist and getting a text that our table is ready was a huge plus. The service was amazing. Kudos to the staffs! I ordered the B&B burger and it was delicious. Only downside of the burger was the bottom bun being soggy. Probably toast the bottom so it can hold on longer since this was juiciest burger we ever had. It was cooked well to my liking though. We had their lemonades and lychee lemonade was refreshing and delicious. The kids want to come back again and try out other different foods because they love it. They were already asking when we can come back. So we'll definitely come back again.
