Midtown spirits is a distillery but it has an interesting Filipino inspired brunch menu which is what I went for and not the alcoholic drinks! There is only street parking so it can be difficult to park and the restaurant does not have a parking lot. My friend wanted to try the matcha waffles so went to try it on a Sunday afternoon. The place was pretty crowded inside and all the seats were taken. They did have a good amount of outdoor seating which consisted of picnic tables for larger parties. It was overcast and cold so we were looking it for indoor seating but we ended up sitting outside. You go to the bar inside to order and then you are given a number and then a server brings your food out to your table. I went with 2 friends so I saved our table for us so it wouldn't get taken while they went to order for me. I ordered the short stack ube mochi pancakes which was only $6 for 2 pancakes which was so cheap! I was shocked at the price! If you want the full stack it is $12 which is still such a great deal. The pancakes came with strawberry and pineapple fruit topping, coconut shavings, and caramelized condensed milk syrup. The pancakes were chewy and soft and not too sweet and had good ube flavor. My fellow elite Yelp friend ordered the matcha waffles which was a large portion but she said the waffles lacked strong matcha flavor. I looked at the rest of their menu and wanted to try their savory Filipino dishes such as the loco moco. Overall, the ube pancakes are delicious and such a great deal! I want to go back to try the rest of their savory Filipino dishes next time!
What a great distillery! Their drinks are really good and we had to try the spam fries! We each ordered 2 rounds of drinks and enjoyed them all. The spam fries were delicious and came with a tasty aioli dip. There is inside and outside seating and the staff is really nice.
Been here a few times after the farmer's market, and I've always had an acceptable time. On a recent brunch, I split the loco moco and musubi bowl with my gf. To start, it was the kentucky derby, so we started with some mint juleps. Man, it was just straight bourbon. There wasn't any flavor to the drink and it really didn't sit well with my stomach, so it wasn't a great start. The loco moco and musubi plate were solid. Honestly, great umami flavors from the filipino / hawaiian heritages, but I felt the proportions to be small and wasn't fully satisfied at the end. At the end of a meal like that, I prefer to be completely satiated and I always kind of leave this place wanting, which is my biggest critique. The crab rangoon was solid, and probably the highlight for me. In the end, this can be a 4 star place considering the vibe. It has a cool patio and the inside bar is dope. There a few TVs to view sports. It can be a great brunch spot honestly. However, I want to bring it down a notch bc of personal food experience. I still would come back. Regarding the service, you order at the bar. Everyone is very nice. It can take a minute. If you have a squad, I would have someone on seat duty, because it can get packed.
I would love it if we could do half stars here - they are definitely higher than a 4, but just shy of a 5-star rating. My husband and I stopped in last night around 5:30. They have a wonderful outdoor space and we sat watching the dog park which was fun for us! We had a gift card that I had won at a silent auction and I am SO glad we finally used it. If we lived closer, I could see myself being a regular here! We started with drinks, my husband had the old fashioned and I had the buzzed bunny. I have to admit, it was strange for me to seeing them getting the old-fashioned out of a tap, but hubs said it was good, so who am I to judge!! The buzzed bunny was really delicious! I enjoyed it completely. We got the tempura cauliflower to start - it was great! Light breading and the sauce was yummy. I had the GOAT salad and thoroughly enjoyed it. The greens were fresh and crisp, the nuts toasty, the cheese perfection, and the dressing just tangy enough. Also, I love beets, so it was a winner! My husband got the burger without the egg (can't remember the names), and he said it was delicious!! The garlic fries were a bit mild for my taste, but maybe more socially acceptable to be less garlicky. The staff was so friendly! The food came out super fast! The drinks were delish. I would definitely go back.
Popped in for happy hour (3-6pm!) and it was a beautiful day so sat in the patio out front. We ordered their Shamrock Slush (seasonal slushie) and it was 12/10. A little chocolate drizzle on the glass and topped with a mint leaf and whipped cream. So so good. We ordered a few apps: spam fries (happy hour), lumpia, pork belly fries. The food was all pretty good. The spam fries were unique but not super filling. I really liked the aioli it came with. The lumpia was really good and came with this great hot honey-ish sauce. Lastly the pork belly fries - mostly fries with a sprinkle of pork belly. Wasn't super impressed with these but it did the trick for a light snack. All in all, great drinks and our server/bartender was super sweet and food came out quick!
Midtown Spirits in downtown Sacramento is such a fun spot! The matcha churros are a must-order -- perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and sweet in the best way. They honestly reminded me of Disneyland churros, just with that delicious matcha twist. Their drink menu is awesome too. There's such a great variety that there's truly something for everyone -- whether you're into craft cocktails, something fruity, or a classic go-to. It's a great place to hang out, try something new, and treat yourself. Definitely worth a visit!
We loved our experience here :) we came at a good time before the line got long and everything was tasty! We got the slushy flight (lemonade, Thai, mangonada, POG) and the Capitol coffee cocktail. Mangonada was my personal favorite and Thai was my husband's favorite! The katsu fries were tasty as well as the cheesecake. Would come here again for the cocktail flights :) the outside seating area is super cute!! Some super loud customer ruined it yelling his life story outside so we went inside to the bar and the inside was a lot more chill :) bartender kept to himself but got the job done and was personable. Pulled up here for the Jingle Bell Pup Crawl and honestly?? 10/10 festive chaos in the best way. The hot apple cider with their cinnamon whiskey was straight-up dynamite -- like a warm hug from Santa if Santa could also mix a drink. The Midtown Mule? Smooth, refreshing, and dangerously easy to sip. We also ordered the chicken lumpia, and yes, it slapped. Crunchy, hot, and exactly what our souls needed. But the REAL critic? Our dog. Lobo sat on the patio like a little old man watching the neighborhood drama unfold -- people watching, dog watching, probably judging someone's boots. Approved with tail wags and zero chaos. That alone earns five stars. Dog-friendly, cozy patio, great drinks, good food -- we'll definitely be back! Next time I'm bringing a blanket & ordering that cider by the gallon.
Love stopping here for slushies . The log slushie is very good and the food is pretty good as well. TVs on for games and the atmosphere is very chill and good
We reserved for a party of 10 the day before and got patio seating for brunch. The restaurant is cute with all the halloween decor. I shared 4 entrees with 2 others; each entree did not have a large portion of food Mushroom sisig (one of their entries for vegan chef challenge): crispy and well seasoned, a decent ratio of batter to mushroom. The garlic vinegar was a nice dip. Would recommend. Pork belly sisig: crispy but the amount of meat was small. The flavor was savory and went well with lemon. The garlic butter rice was decent, but doesn't taste good when it goes cold. shrimp happens: underwhelming. Shrimp was well cooked with shell on. Batter wasn't that crispy. Overall felt more greasy than the others. ube pancakes: fluffy, not to sweet, and went well with the condensed milk. Ube flavor was not there. We asked for more condensed milk since the amount on the pancake was limited. I would probably not come back here again, but it was nice to try!
The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. The servers were very polite. My first drink was the dillarissic, dill pickle drink. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered it because I hate dill juice . I didn't like the drink at all. My buddy had the white Russian and it was very good. The strawberry vodka was delicious and I bought a bottle to take home. The pineapple chili vodka was also very good if you like heat. For food, my pork belly had a strong zest taste which really turned me off. My buddy had the hot dog dish, can't recall the name but it was decent. The pancakes looked like the go to.
Midtown Spirits continues to be one of our favorite brunch spots. When we have friends or family visiting from out of town this is a must stop. They have indoor and outdoor seating and you can find street parking nearby relatively easily (during peak hours you may have a to walk a bit further). You walk in and order at the bar and then find a seat. Don't forget to check out the specials and take a look at their list of infused vodka flavors. They already have a great menu of drinks, but you can change them up by using infused vodka flavors. They have delicious vodka slushies available with some rotating flavors- the POG is our favorite and is always available. They also have some cocktails on draft for quick service, but offer so many options. The longer they're around, the more options they have. They're a distillery and sell vodka in a few flavors as well as gin and rum. On top of that they sell fun items like merch, coasters, barrel aged honey, and the Preservation & Co. products like the bloody mary mix they use. Speaking of, their Bloody Mary is one of my favorites. I love ordering it with pickle AND horseradish vodka and it's super flavorful. Other favorites are the Moscow Mule with apple cinnamon vodka, and on our recent visit my husband tried it with apple cinnamon and cranberry vodka and it was so good. I also love their white linen and I love to have the bartenders surprise me with a drink they're working on. The food is also fantastic! On my recent visit they had spam pops as a special, basically spam corn dogs, and they were awesome. We also got the Loco Moco ($16) and the Hella Loco ($22) to compare the two- basically one just has ALL THE MEATS. I'd recommend getting the Hella Loco and sharing it. So good! It looks like the breakfast fries are off the menu now, but their regular fries are delicious. Our friends got the hangover burger and loved it too. This spot is family friendly, and dog friendly (on the patio). They also have special menu items and offerings throughout the year- check their social media for updates.
Fabulous first trip to Midtown Spirits. Can't believe I've waited this long to try! The gal at the front was so gracious in answering all my questions and helping me make a selection on drinks. The food was to die for, omg. We had the goat & beer salad, tempura cauliflower, chicken katsu sandwich and deviled eggs. Everything was amazing. Prob could have passed on the shamrock shake but that's bc I think the milk cocktail combo took me out. Definitely will return. I recommend the patio seating while it's nice out.
Came here because I wanted to ube and coffee cocktail. . Since I got a text from my friend when to brunch I said sure ;) here. Done. . So I got the ube pancakes for sure. It was not dissapointing the stack of pancake was soft and gooey easy to cut with a fork. It wasn't over sweet but had a nice caramel condensed milk on top of it drizzled. Topped with lots of coconut and some fresh fruits. It was a photogenic plate for sure. . Paired with a espresso cocktail, first zip i thought I had die from the vodka lol it was strong. But hey a little buzz is what we want. . It was a fun time since we got to sit outside with view of the dog park. Small space nestled between the train tracks, an auto place, and across from a dog park. With a ton of dive bars in surrounding area, it's definitely a nice cozy spot to hunker down and get some quiet time or stuff done while securing some stellar food and drinks. I have only tried the bloody Mary's as you pick your flavor of vodka(they have tons of options of vodka) and still trying different ones out. The brunch is one of the reason to go as well. Everything I have tried on the brunch menu has been delicious. One of the brunch dishes has SPAM! Yes, the struggle meat that we know and love. Brought a nostalgic tear in my eye. Service has been good, be warned, it's a small spot so around 1030am on weekends, it gets packed. I recommend showing up early for the good seats. I am still a newbie citizen of Sacramento County and stumbled upon this place. I feel like I've passed by it but never really paid attention to it. There's also a nice dog park across. What caught my attention was their ube waffles which a friend had showed me from their Instagram page. We came here a little after noon on a Sunday and missed their brunch. So I was super bummed about that. We still decided to stay for drinks and try something off their menu. I love the layout of the inside. It's like an auto body shop transformed into a distillery. They also have a patio built outside. They have a variety if different boozy slushies so we tried their mangonata and a jalapeño cucumber slushy they had which was interestingly good and unique. Refreshing too. Mangonata was good too. Tried out their devil fries. Had sliced beef frank dog with tomatoes, onions, bacon, cheese and a grilled Serrano pepper on top. Not bad. Good first experience. I'll def be back cause I want to try their ube pancakes. read more

was super happy to be finally able to visit while in town! we arrived probably around 1230PM on a Saturday and was able to see there was plenty of tables. you order at the bar after scanning the QR code! my bf and i ordered the ube pancakes and loco moco - including tip was around $31. we didn't have to wait long but during the time we did wait, we really liked the fact that the server wiped down every single table after each use. they have both indoors and outdoor dining but we chose indoor cause it was a bit breezy. hands down , this loco moco was my fave at this spot. i loved how soft the garlic rice was and with the gravy, absolutely perfect. the party was a bit on the dry side but nothing the gravy couldn't fix. my sunny side up was also over cooked a tad as i was hoping for the runny yolk. it definitely did remind me of rainbow drive in though in oahu! the ube pancakes were so soft and warm! it sort of gave me a mochi type of feeling. i loved the fresh fruits too - i did find that the ube pancakes got a bit boring after i continuously ate it bc it lacked flavor for the bottom two pancakes. i sort of wished they gave a little cup or something where i can pour syrup to my liking ! overall, great spot and great vibes. i would definitely come again! read more

I have only come during brunch and I've gone twice now. Each time they have been AMAZING. They have outside dining w/ 2 two person tables and the other four or so tables were picnic type tables that could fit 6 maybe 8 people. The tables are also at a good distance for social distancing. The first time I went to midtown spirits it was a bit busy and everyone I interacted with gave great service. So, after a great time I had to take my boyfriend here for when he came to town. I just want to give a shout out to Mikey for giving us the best experience yesterday!! He gave us the rundown of all the food and the infusions they had and gave recommendations. He read me like a book and made me a lemonade with club soda with the cherry infusion topped with a fresh sprig of mint. It was delicious! He checked up on everyone at the patio a few times too. The server was also such a sweetheart. Food: Midtown plate, breakfast musubi and Ube mochi pancakes. 10/10 for everything. We devoured it all while dancing in our seat because the food was that yummy. The longanisa is one of my favs it's not too sweet and not too bad garlicky or peppery such a great balance unlike the typical Filipino longanisa that is super sweet. The sauce/syrup they put on the pancakes with the coconut flakes really tie everything together. Also love how fresh the fruit is that comes with the musubi and the ube pancakes. Went here for Sunday brunch and we really enjoyed everything! Absolutely loved their Ube pancake and chicken tocino, but everything else was also very good!We ordered three of their slushies : jalapeño watermelon, Hawaiian POG & Mangonada. Definitely recommend getting them! When we got there, it was pretty busy as all tables and chairs were already taken. There's not really a hostess to seat you so you just have to find an open table for yourself, but within 5-10 min a table opened up. One of us grab the table already while the rest of us went to the bar to order our food. The bartender and the waitress were so friendly! Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend people to try This place! read more

I took my mom here for mother's day last Friday and we absolutely loved our experience here. Although it was a little confusing, we ended up figuring out that we had to scan a QR code to get access to the menu and order at the bar. Seating was anywhere you wanted, but we chose to sit outside to enjoy the view as we came at night. The lights were gorgeous and gave the place a nice vibe- especially when you could still hear the music. We both ended up ordering the Philly Cheesesteak with Fries, along with Chicken Lumpia, a Hawaiian POG and The Dude Abides. The food came pretty quick and we loved everything!! The lumpia was so hot but delicious and had a great ratio of meat and veggie. The philly cheesesteak almost melted in your mouth with how tender the steak was! So freaking bomb, just wish it was slightly spicier, but it paired amazing with the well seasoned fries which had a nice crisp to it. My mom said the Hawaiian POG was so refreshing and wanted to come back just for it- which is huge since she loves fruity drinks that slightly hide the alcohol taste. The Duke Abides was pretty good as well! Definitely for those who aren't into sweet drinks as much, but loves a good coffee taste. It goes really well with the salty/savory taste of the sandwich. We also had two more drinks, but I forgot the other one. However, the star of the show was the Ubelada slushie. My mom and I absolutely devoured this. All we needed to see was that it had Ube and we just knew this was the drink we had to get. It's a literal dream for any Filipino out there. Super super refreshing and although my mom thinks it was made perfect, I think I would've loved it more if there had been a stronger flavor of the ube. Definitely the drink to end your night with which also hides the alcohol taste by a lot. We had an amazing time here and look forward to our next visit. You can also see it in everyones face that they were having a great time as well. Thank you for making it so memorable and huge props to the bartender! Although I couldn't get his name, he was super patient and incredibly nice. Loved the drinks you made and we appreciate you answering all of our questions. Hope we see you again! I must be out of the loop because I had no idea this place existed! It's a vodka distillery in midtown, what?! After dinner one night we wanted some bloody Mary's so a quick search on Yelp and this place popped up. While they had Bloody Mary's, it was the photos of their Mangonada that cemented our visit. We arrived around 8pm on a Friday night and it was moderately crowded with most patrons outside on their patio area. Ordering is all done at the bar, even if you want food so I can imagine ordering brunch on a Sunday would be a little hectic. I got my mangonada and my husband got a Bloody Mary. They have various infused vodkas and he opted for the dill pickle vodka with his Bloody Mary. The prices were a bit expensive, $27 for 2 drinks! Comparing the previously posted menus to the current, their prices have increased significantly over a few months but I get it. The mangonada was delicious tho! Definitely one of those dangerous drinks you can easily down multiple with minimal alcohol taste and before you know it your being carried out lol. The Bloody Mary was ok, we weren't a fan of the house made mix but the dill pickle vodka added a nice flavor. I also got a Orange creamsicle slushee and it too was delicious but needed more vanilla flavor in my option. Overall, I really enjoyed this place as I'm a vodka drinker so this is right up my alley. We will for sure be back to try out their food items but mostly to try out their seasonal winter released drinks like hot toddy's, yum! read more
Definitely one of my new favorite spots in Sacramento! Midtown Spirits crafts their very own spirits (vodka and gin) and makes unique cocktails and slushies with them. I highly recommend the Saturn Slush: lemon juice, passion fruit, cherry juice, orgeat, and gin. It's so flavorful and refreshing. But don't be afraid to ask to sample their other slush! Their food menu goes perfectly with their drinks. The Devil Fries is perfectly cooked and seasoned fries topped with bacon, onions, and tomatoes. It's so good! The staff is really nice and makes good recommendations. read more

I loved the drinks here, for $22 you can get a slushie flight & they all tasted pretty goood! You order at the bar for drinks & food, & its open seating anywhere. It is fairly small place so big groups it's hard to fit. Chicken lumpia was delicious! I would definitely get that again with their sisig fries! Recommend getting the sisig fries, big portion. But I loved how they make their own vodka & drinks, you can see their distillery in the back which is pretty neat. We will be back for more drinks & great eats! read more

A little out of the way spot... but well worth the stop.... Very friendly staff And a great atmosphere.... We had brunch and it really was delicious..their lumpia was so good...They have a Award winning Bloody Mary mix that was exceptional... Their corned beef was so good..We were treated to a pepperoncini martini...We actually were shocked at how good it was...lol....Put it on your list of stops when you are in Sacramento...You won't regret it read more

Stumbled upon this place randomly and decided to give it a try...the vibes were and the staff was amazing! They explained everything in great detail to me and gave us a brewed history of the place. We came in on a slow Saturday so it wasn't too busy but the staff mentioned that it was rare. The make their own vodka on site which you can see in the background! (I thought that was cool). I'm not really a vodka fan, but they have an assortment of different vodkas to try out with their signature Bloody Mary sauce (that they also make on site). I tasted the sauce separately and it was so good, however when I had it in the bloody Mary it started out good but it seem like the brown sugar settled on the bottom and made the bloody Mary too sweet for my personal liking. But if that is what you like, it shouldn't be a problem! The food is also really good, it is a fusion between Filipino and Hawaiian food. I definitely will be back for more food. The chicken is marinated to be sweet but so flavorful and with siracha it's the perfect combination! Come check this place out! WHY WE WENT HERE: - Sunday brunch with the SO - I don't eat pancakes (I'm a waffle and French toast person), but I wanted to try this place out specifically for the Ube Pancakes THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located off 19th St, closest to Q St - located across the street from Truitt Bark Park (dog park) - LOVE the deck built outside for outdoor seating; gives the feeling of being in someone's backyard THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - LOVE the interior - towards the rear you can see the workings of the distillery itself behind glass pane windows - very industrial but cozy feeling with the decor and the exposed shelving at the bar showcasing their products and TV screens THE MENU: - QR codes are available at each table for every patron to have access to the menus - DRINKS menu (all day) - FOOD menu (2:30PM-10PM) - HAPPY HOUR FOOD (3PM-6PM) - BRUNCH (9:30AM-2:30PM) - TO-GO BOTTLES (all day) - MERCHANDISE (all day) WHAT WE ORDERED: - from the DRINKS menu we ordered: Ubebe (Ooo-Bay-Be) and Giggle Juice - from the BRUNCH menu we ordered: Loco Moco, Ube Pancakes, Pork Belly Sisig, and Chicken Lumpia THE TASTE: - first off, presentation of EVERYTHING was ON POINT - appreciated the smooth jars all the drinks came in (water + our cocktails) + the super sturdy paper straws (save the turtles!) that didn't disintegrate over the duration of our brunch - anything with ube will give a strong purple color, which was appreciated in both the Ubebe as well as the Ube Pancakes - the cocktails were good and strong - the Loco Moco was good; definitely not drowning in gravy and not salty AF; the beef patty was a bit plain but the gravy and the garlic rice + the egg gave it more moisture and flavor - the Ube Pancakes definitely were dense and gave a mochi texture; the caramelized condensed milk and fresh fruit was a nice touch to it - Pork Belly Sisig gave more of Lechon Kawali but thinly sliced vibes; didn't really taste the jalapeno or citrus to it, but you can never go wrong with fried pork - Chicken Lumpia you can tell is definitely made fresh vs. frozen packs you buy at the store and fry up; love the size of them and the slanted cut to them as well; and the vinegar dipping sauce (which I believe had minced garlic in it with some pepper added) that I was offered by our server went great with it CUSTOMER SERVICE: - when we first walked in (they had just opened for the day) Brandy "I Wanna Be Down" was playing and I knew this was our kind of joint - warm welcome and great customer service! - would definitely come back for non-brunch items to try out the other food as well! read more

I have been here a bunch of times just for drinks, but this was the first time getting food and I will definitely be back! I typically come in and get a spiked slushy, but this time I got some food and it did not disappoint. I sat at the bar and service is fast and they are very attentive. Great brunch, great drinks, and a great patio! What's not to love? I've been here a few times for just drinks and a few for brunch and have really enjoyed every visit. The bartenders are all very personable, and are great at offering recommendations for drinks and food. Kudos to them for all the neat creations they make with their infused spirits! If you're looking for a slushee or a vodka soda or a Bloody Mary, this is your spot - and you can get it with a twist! Food is excellent, too. They're brunch menu is sort of an Asian fusion twist on classic American brunch, featuring items like spam musubi on a hash brown, ube pancakes, and loco moco. I went with their tocino chicken this morning, which came with garlic rice and eggs, and was awesome! The chicken was a great combination of sweet and savory - a combo I personally love. Not too filling of a meal but enough that I was full without feeling gluttonous. Their patio is great, too. Lots of space to hang out and people (or dog!) watch, with the dog park right across the street. It was a bit warm and sunny today, so we moved indoors after about an hour, but they also have a counter right alongside the entrance with a wall that opens up, so you're practically outside but sheltered from most of the elements. COVID and sunburn safe! Brunch goes until 2:30 on weekends and switches over to their lunch menu then. Looks like they have a great selection of burgers - something I'll need to check out! On Sundays, happy hour starts at 2:30 as well, and all shots or vodka sodas are just $4. Consider coming for a late brunch and staying for the happy hour! read more

Finally made it out here after following them on Instagram for a while and was very happy with everything we had! They have some seating inside and also an outdoor patio that is nice to enjoy when it isn't too hot. We started with a couple of their slushies. The Mangonada and Hawaiian POG slushies were good! They can be dangerous because you can hardly tell they have any alcohol in them! Both were really tasty and if we had stayed longer and weren't so full, we probably would have had another. We also ordered food. We started with the chicken lumpia with sweet chili sauce. It's a good lumpia, a bit skinny but had good flavor. The chicken wasn't dry at all and it was freshly fried when we got it. The sweet chili sauce tastes like the one I normally buy at the store so I'm assuming it isn't home made but who knows. We ordered the devil dog which has Bacon, Thousand Island, Cheese Sauce, Jalapenos, Onions, Tomato. This is not the type of hotdog you can eat with your hands as it is more of an open faced hotdog topped with all of toppings. Everything worked well together and wasn't too spicy. I ordered the barnyard burger with fries which has 1/3 lb Grass Fed Beef, Fried Egg, Bacon, Tomato, Greens, 1000 Island, on a Brioche Bun and was completely happy with my choice. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the egg on the burger because I'm not a huge egg lover but man was this burger good. The burger was juicy and I really liked the addition of the egg. The brioche bun was good too but towards the end, it started to break apart in my hand so be aware it can get a little messy. The fries were good too, they were seasoned which wasn't too strong but was nice that they weren't just regular French fries. Interested in coming for brunch because that menu looks awesome but beware they only serve brunch on the weekends. read more

I came here for Sunday brunch on a sunny but cool morning. It wasn't terribly cold, but it was nice that they had heat lamps outside. The way it works is you order inside at the bar and choose your seat either indoor or outside. Also, you can either keep your tab open or close it out when you place your order. I ordered the Hawaiian Pog slushie and chicken tocino. I liked my drink, and while not quite having as much tocino flavor as I'm used to, I still found myself devouring my food, even with my to-go order that I ate later in the day. I also split the ube pancakes with my dining companion - not bad! The yogurt and granola I could pass on next time though. Portion size for the chicken tocino was just the right amount, but I felt they could have given more rice. There are other drinks and dishes I'd like to try, so I'm definitely open to coming back. read more

The girls and I made it right before noon on a Saturday; we were able to beat the crowd to brunch. I recommend coming in at that time so you can find seating & street parking. There are indoor and outdoor seatings; it's also self-seating. You order at the the bar and they find your table number to serve you. I was with both pregnant girlfriends so all we got to try was the food. Ube pancakes - the ube flavor was there but I thought it was dry. It needed more syrup since it's a whole stack. Garlic shrimp and rice - probably the best dish out of the ones we ordered. The shrimp was cooked well. Chicken tocino - definitely not your authentic tocino, it's overpriced. Midtown plate - eh, it is what it says it is, no specialty. Basket of fries - the fries were at least fried well -- second best dish. Overall, the food was decent and the workers were nice! Probably will have to come back after they give birth to try the drinks. Haha read more

Possible don't realize including myself that Sacramento has its own distillery So when I happened upon the restaurant I just looked at things that were open at 8 AM on Saturday The overall experience was great the customer service was excellent Food Came out hot and taste perfect I can't think of anything that I didn't enjoy. Maybe I was just overwhelmed by the fact that I didn't know it really existed though I had driven by aesthetically there was nothing to draw me inside I mean really it's a warehouse lol But, once in !! So many choices to make.... Probably one of the best Bloody Marys!! But I love brunch here. So much food !!! read more

This place is a gem, I was invited out for brunch and the invitation was at 10am I thought it was a bit early but I was wrong. This place gets crowded and the lines extended outside. Therefore, I soon realized that the earlier you go the less waiting you'll have to do. I like that you can pay for your individual order. They give you a number and then take your food to your table, very convenient especially in a group setting. I ordered one of their staples the Ube pancakes and wow I was blown away! Extremely tasty! I also had a mimosa with my meal. I absolutely cannot wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes and drinks. read more
IG: @eating_with_sandy Went to Midtown Spirits for a brunch (available only on weekends) with small group of friends. I didn't have to make a reservation but I think you can reserve tables in advance if needed since some tables had small since saying they reserved at a certain time. This place has walk in and order and then they'll hand you a sign with a number and you can either sit indoors or outdoors in a patio area. I don't recall seeing a physical menu, as their menu required you to scan a QR code to see it online. I went around their opening time so if you plan on getting a slushy I suggest going a little later since it wasn't available yet. Tip: for their cocktails they have the option for you to choose from one of their infused vodka or even picking two of their vodkas and doing "half shots". I ordered the ube pancakes. Their ube mochi pancakes didn't taste too much like ube but they were so fluffy and delicious! It comes with a caramelized condensed milk drizzle that is too die for! They also topped with coconut and fresh fruit! I loved that it wasn't too sweet at all and will definitely be going back for these! Service and food were both amazing (however, we did ask for boxes, which they kinda forgot about since they were busy so it took awhile to get) and I will be returning to try their slushies and for more of their use pancakes! read more

Brunch is only on the weekends as they are mostly open in the afternoon/evening during the week. Worth a couple trips to check out both menus!

They have a good sized outdoor patio area that is dog friendly, which is great since the dog park is across the street 😀
