I bought a house about 2 1/2 years ago. Since then, I've needed some plumbing work done, including the replacement of a garbage disposal and a toilet. The pricing was a little more than other companies I've called, but they have never given me the service that Midway Services does. Midway Services gave me a two hour window for being at my home. The plumber was prompt at the start of the window. For example, when he came out to replace my garbage disposal, the window was 8am-10am. He was parked out front of my home at 7:55am, but did not approach my door until 8am. In addition, I also received a 2-year parts and labor warranty on the work he did, which gives me the peace of mind that if something should fail, they will come back out to make it right without additional costs involved. In today's day and age of unreliable contractors and service technicians, the warranty is worth the additional cost. Granted, if I bought the parts and did it myself, it would be cheaper. But, if I do it wrong or make it worse, I have to pay to do it again or have someone else come out to fix it. Plus, I'm paying for the convenience of someone else getting their hands dirty. On an investment, such as my home, I'm not willing to take the chance of making things worse when I'm not licensed to perform the work. I'm saving money in the long run. I will use Midway Services again! read more

If I could rate them "0" I would. It took me between 9am to 5pm to schedule the tech to come out. After speaking with 3 different people the tech called me only to say he was at the property earlier but that he had left because another person canceled my appointment. This someone was internal and didn't know what she was doing. Finally, the tech came. Nice guy but had no executive command over the situation. He did what his seniors told him to do. He called me after finding out what seemed to be the problem. He fixed what he saw and the problem was fixed...or so we thought. The next day I get a call from my tenant who said the power is still faulty. I called Midway again and asked if they could come back and address the problem they supposedly fixed and which I paid $300 for. They said they wouldn't come out. I was shocked. I thought the person who told me "no" to coming back out was mistaken so I checked with the tech. He said the same thing. Furthermore, he said I'd have to pay again for them to come out again. I was furious and went with another company who solved the problem, charged me half of what Midway charged and who has 12-month warranty. Midway struck me as an upstanding company with their marketing but their service is nowhere near the image they portray. It's a sad truth. read more

i hired Midway to renovate an outdated bathroom and was extremely happy with the outcome. Roger guided me through the design process and procurement of everything from floor and wall tile to plumbing fixtures to electrical changes. Regina oversaw the project from start to finish with daily inspections and progression updates, as well as some design modifications. Dan did the bulk of the work and was skilled in every aspect of the project. His prowess as a trim carpenter is reflected in his attention to detail in everything he does. Felix tiled the walls, shower and floor which came out beautifully and he worked at a deliberate pace to insure perfect grout lines. The project was completed in a timely manner and everyone strived to be as unobtrusive as possible. They deserved a five star rating. read more

I had a pipe burst under the floor in my kitchen in the middle of a Tuesday afternoon. Marley who answered the phone was compassionate concerning my issue and walked me through what was needed and assured me I would get a return call. Mike was the FIELD SUPERVISOR who came to my home. He walked me through what needed to be done and provided the estimate. it was the NEXT morning at 7AM when they arrived at my home. There was 7 other associates (various days/times) including Mike that worked to Re Plumb the ENTIRE house. These guys worked hard, used drop clothes INSIDE my home to minimize the dirt and debris, cleaned up EACH day before leaving, and were the friendliest of people I have been around. So I needed to change my plumbing / electrical maintenance appointment to accommodate our tenant schedule and Midway could not do it. No service calls on Fridays when we really could have had them come and do it anytime and nothing before 9:30 AM in the morning. So, I told the phone person then we would need to cancel the contract. Without hesitation, or trying to offer an alternative, he just said okay and that AP would be in touch with me for a refund. Lastly when he said, "is there anything else I can do for you", I said, "You haven't DONE anything for me", and I hung up the phone. Know the Owner for decades, have assisted him many times, but this time around needed Midway Services to come out on a brand new Trane which was installed as (?????) had backed out of the contract for no apparent reason! Midway handles it all with Honesty, Integrity, and with the highest Level of Professionalism! You can expect honest and direct answers; no hidden made up phony baloney will be found here! Very professional company and the technician that came out was wonderful. The last company I had a contract with for over 3 years could not follow very simple instructions for me and I was nervous seeking out another company. But Midway proved to be extremely well organized, from scheduling the appointment to the tech that came out. Hooray for Midway Services! I had Midway completely remodel my bathroom shower and what a beautiful job they performed. Roger Vest worked with me on the design and he was involved in the entire project. He told me the approximate schedule of each step and was always available for my questions.
