Spicy beef, seafood pancake and the lunch special soondubu and bbq chicken.

We have eaten here many times over the years. Food is always delicious. We love the variety of offerings and lunch specials. The team is always super friendly- even during busy times. The restaurant itself is always tidy and welcoming. A great place to share a meal!

This is probably one of my favorite Korean spots I've tried in Fremont. First of all, the pajeon was genuinely the one of the best vegetable pancakes I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, still soft on the inside, and just really well balanced. It had that pan seared flavor to it. I would come back for that alone. I judge a place heavily by their banchan, and this place's banchan was GOOD. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, and I dug right in. For my main, I got the manduguk (dumpling soup), which was exactly what I wanted - super comforting, homey, and still really flavorful. The egg mixed into the broth gave it a bit of an egg drop soup vibe, which I loved, and the seaweed and green onion were the perfect additions without overpowering anything. Service was kind and the atmosphere was really nice - very uncrowded and relaxed on a weekday. Overall, this felt like one of those reliable, feel-good spots. Just solid, comforting food done well. I'll definitely be back!

My husband and I came here around 12 pm on a Thursday and it was surprisingly busy. We appeared to come in right as other parties had ordered. There was a little bit of a wait for us to get our food but they seemed to move pretty quickly after that wave. We ordered the kalbi lunch box, spicy pork lunch box, and the seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was top tier and perfectly crispy on the outside while fluffy on the inside. We really enjoyed the lunch boxes as well. The meats had great flavor and felt like a good deal around $18 each. We were both unable to finish our boxes, probably since we kept eating the pancake, and were able to take home about half of each one. Highly recommend the galbi. The spicy pork was also really good and had a nice grilled flavor on the meat. If you get the lunch boxes, banchan is included in the box and is not refillable. We will definitely be back here. I have my eye on the sundubu combos as well as the naengmyeon combos that are available in the summer only.

    Tteokbokki

We came in around 7 right before the evening rush and the waitlist, which I am so happy about. The service was great, I didn't get his name but he was really personable and funny!! The food was amazing , I was undergoing a cold and really wanted some soup and it did not disappoint. The star of the show was definitely the galbi, the flavor was out of this world amazing. And of course I really enjoyed the cold noodles & the tteokbokki. Definitely looking forward to coming back again.

We went here for lunch on a rainy day. It felt so good to have tofu hot pot soup. They had a lunch menu with good selections and prices , but no tofu hot pot soup. So we ordered from the regular menu . Each order came with 6 side dishes and they were refillable . We enjoyed the side dishes as much as the main meal . We asked for two rounds of refills . If you order the lunch menu item then you don't get any refills on the side dishes . The tofu broths were very tasty with seafood inside ( squid, clams and shrimps ) . One of us ordered the beef tofu hot pot soup, mild . We tried the hot soup before and it was too spicy for us . Good quality of food . Great service and a big parking lot just outside the front door. I usually tried to arrive at the restaurant by 11:30 am or else the tables could be all taken and I would need to wait for the next round . Miga restaurant has been in Fremont for many years . It is one of the classic and authentic Korean restaurants. Love to come here from time to time .

Food: one word, AMAZING. From banchan to tofu soup, everything tasted like I had in Korea. The flavors are spot on and portion is good. Their bibimpap is highly recommended! Service: one of the warmest I've had in Bay Area for sure. The guy was very welcoming, attentive and helpful! Makes the overall dining experience better. Ambiance: I love how the name of the restaurant and "delicious" in Korean is corresponded. Overall it's casual but I hope the kitchen vacuum is better so we don't get too stuffed by the smell.

I love finding a good hole in the wall and Miga is exactly that: tucked away in the side of a plaza, super delicious and authentic. The service was great. The food was fire and the lunch special prices are so affordable! About ~$18 for the spicy pork combo that I got, and it was enough food to take home leftovers! Seafood pancake was huge too. Loved it and will definitely come back

Side dishes are ready but they won't bring it out until the main dishes are ready to serve

I used to think Miga Korean Restaurant was a hidden gem for our family. We have been regular customers for quite some time, usually visiting during busy dinner hours. Because of that, we always understood that food and side dish refills might take a bit longer, which felt reasonable given how crowded it gets. However, I recently had a very different experience during a weekday lunch when I dined alone. The restaurant was empty, and I was the only customer there. I noticed that rice and side dishes were already prepared at the counter, but they were not brought out until the main dish was ready. While I understand that some Korean restaurants manage side dishes carefully since they are included with the meal, it still felt unnecessarily restrictive. What stood out more was that after finishing my initial side dishes, I was not offered any refills. Even when I tried to get attention, it felt like I was being overlooked. If side dishes are limited to one serving, it would be much better to communicate that clearly instead of leaving customers guessing. Another thing that felt off was the sudden attentiveness when I was ready to pay. The service became noticeably more responsive at that point, which did not feel genuine. I still appreciate the restaurant for what it used to be for us, but this experience during a quiet lunch left a disappointing impression. I hope they can improve consistency in service and communication moving forward

Been wanting to try for a while now & saw its good reviews on beli. Came in on a busy Friday & there was plenty of parking and server was very friendly and nice. I'm a huge fan of Korean food and saw the good reviews so we ordered a seafood pajeon + spicy squid. We waited over 20 minutes for our food and got the seafood pancake and the bigger pieces were almost liquidy/raw from the mixture on the inside. Thankfully the server took it back and cooked it a bit more. The flavor on the spicy squid was amazing and very tasty and all of the side dishes were great quality as well. Just had to wave down the workers for waters/napkins bc it was so hectic. Think we just came on a busy/off day. The workers were all super kind and there was one server running around the busy restaurant. Would like to try again in future

Food here is so good, perfect portions and decent price as well. I remember that their seafood soup was ok, seafood pancake is pretty good but wish it was more crispy, and soon tofu was really good. Came again yesterday and my soon tofu was wayyyyyy too salty. Banchan is pretty good and you can get seconds, I just thought the kimchi was too sour. Rice texture is really good, galbi flavor and char is great (just overpriced imo) We waited 30 mins for banchan to come out before food even came, we ordered about 40 minutes after opening. You have to ask for things like more napkins but the utensils are available on the table. The ambiance is more of a family or friends kind of place, and it fills up within two hours of opening here (on holidays)

Came here yesterday for lunch with a friend, party of 2, and really enjoyed the meal! I got the bulgogi and tofu soup combo with the dumpling tofu soup, and we also shared a korean seafood pancake appetizer. They also serve Korean side dishes like kimchi, fishcakes, veggies, etc. Total was around $54 per person, but I had a ton of leftovers that was like 2 more meals for me. So you can definitely just order 1 dish and feel pretty full. Pros: - Delicious food, exactly what you would expect. No surprises, you come for good reliable Korean food and that's exactly what you will get. - Very kind servers who kept our hot waters refilled and checked in enough times - Decent sitting space, I would say this place is best for parties of 2-4 - Easy parking lot out front - The tofu soup has spiciness levels, the "medium" is like shin ramen so I got mild. The tofu soup was my favorite and it hit the spot. - LOVE that they give you a full egg to dump into your tofu soup! Eggs are expensive these days Cons: - Bulgogi was a little dry, but still delicious.

First time trying this place and the food tasted authentic. My dad and I tried the seafood pancake and the spicy beef tofu soup combo with galbi. It was enough for 2 people for a late lunch! The side dishes are my favorite part whenever I eat Korean food. They gave around 8 different ban chan and each was 10/10. They seemed to only have 2 people working on the floor but they were fast to accommodate the early dinner rush.

Wow might just be one of my new favorite Korean spots in Fremont! The food here was truly the definitely of comfort. From the EXCELLENT banchan, spicy beef ramen, extra spicy seafood tofu soup, soybean stew, and grilled mackerel, everything was perfect! The spicy beef ramen was probably my favorite item. So simple yet so good! Beef flavor shines through and is complimented by the spice. The extra spicy seafood tofu soup has tons of seafood, and I loved how well the savory soybean stew and mackerel went together. I have no complaints about the food! Price wise, this place is pretty expensive for the portions. But the quality is there and the service is also really great. Place feels homey and comfortable. Can't wait to be back soon!

The restaurant is not ayce which is actually what we were looking for. Sometimes you just want to order different stuff without subject yourself to overeating. The problem is the food is so so but for the price it's slightly less quality than you'd expect. We ordered both the combo 1 and a spicy squid dish. The combo 1 has a bbq galbi (LA galbi), a bbq dish (with chicken, pork and bulgogi), tofu soup and a cheesy corn dish. None of them are bad per se but the amount of food doesn't feel like a good enough deal for the price. The combo is a better deal than ordering the dish individually but the the amount of galbi is just too little. The same is true for the spicy squid dish, just too few pieces to justify the price. The tofu soup doesn't come with an egg. Banchan however has a good number of varieties. This is also the only Korean restaurant I know that charges $3 for a bowl of rice. The service is good and the place is larger than expected. There are bbq tables but I don't think those have been used for a while. The location is the tiny plaza where the main focus is the McDonald's. There is however a fairly popular coffee place next door.
