proud to say that this chain originates in corona for the money, it is very difficult to beat their bean and cheese burrito, which will fill most people up for under 2 dollars the place has a salsa bar that includes fresh onions, pickled jalapenos, 2 varieties of salsa, and fresh cilantro this place is by far the best of all mexican fast food chains if only for their bean and cheese burritos. I've been eating Miguel's since I was in my mother womb. Hands down the best Mexican food around.

I ordered a garbage burrito and could barely find ANY beef inside, it was literally 95% beans.......$7 for .25 cents worth of beans.......highway robbery!!!!! Never again!...good job at loosing a customer that lives 2 blocks away. read more

As far as fast food goes, Miguel's Jr. Is your best bet if you're in the area and got hankering for Mexican. I frequent this restaurant more than I'd like to admit. There hardly is ever a moment of the day, from when they open to when they close, that you don't see a line at Miguel's. Impressively, they keep it moving so you're in and out before you know it. They are quick and the food is almost always delicious. I say almost because every so often it seems like quality was compromised for quantity. For this reason, I give them 4 stars. Nevertheless, for as busy as it always is there, they pump out some good eats. You pay a little more than your typical fast food restaurants but not by much. read more

I've been holding back for a while now because I really love the Miguel's establishments, but I can not hold my tongue anymore. Every time I get a bean and cheese burrito the cheese always, and I mean always, ends up on one side of the burritos instead of spreading it throughout the burrito. I end up eating a half & half. Half bean, half cheese burrito. I actually put it to the test and requested that they spread the cheese throughout the burrito and it came out perfect. Why can't they just do it right every time? Must I ask every time I eat there? The other complaint is the tortilla. It's a 50/50 shot that I will have my beans oozing out of the other end of the burrito. Seriously, what kind of tortillas do they use? I've never bought tortillas that do that. It's obviously nothing that will stop me from returning, but it would be nice if they can make a few adjustments. Thanks for reading. read more

Miguel's always hits the spot. The food is always decent and reasonably priced. I prefer this over their bigger restaurants since it's basically the same food and no tip is necessary. I always get the tacos extra crispy. When in the area try them out you probably won't be disappointed. read more

This is my favorite local Mexican chain, the burritos are my favorite. I love the garbage burritos , they are so delicious . Make sure you get double wrapped and the tortillas tend to fall apart easily. The red sauce is easily the best!! It is good better than a lot of other Mexican restaurants hot sauces. read more

I don't even pay attention to the price because the food is so good. It's not too much anyway, but more than Del Taco or somewhere like that. But...you get what you pay for. Ask anybody that has spent time in Corona and they know about this place. I like to get a bean, rice, and cheese burrito w/ extra cheese or the large nachos with jalapenos I would have given 5 stars but sometimes they short me on the salsas at the drive thru and that really ticks me off. Went there recently and me and my boyfriend got burritos. when we opened them the tortilla was so powdery and dry that our burritos ripped open which made and extreme mess. Then once we started to eat it was stone cold and very watery for some reason. Probably wont go back... we really only went there because we got a gift card. read more

Miguel's Jr is okay. I do not like their cheese quesadillas. They are way too cheesy and the cheese is not good. I also don't care for their beans either. I do like their taquitos. The chicken inside the fried shell is delicious. The customer service is really good. The employees are very attentive. I don't not highly recommend this place. :-( read more

2 stars for the food and i'm being generous about that and 2 stars for the service. Got a Chile Verde dinner and 1 chicken taco from Miguel's Jr. to go yesterday and this was the last time i went there....same experience with their Chile Verde dinner 6 months ago. If they did put any chile verde sauce on it and it didn't taste like they did, it sure was not there when i got home. They use the cheapest plastic take-out containers, no dividers, so everything runs together and i ended up with a gooey mess of a few/very few pieces of pork, rice and beans with melted cheese on top.. Not one slice of tomato, lettuce anything. The chicken in the taco is just boiled chicken - no flavor/spices whatsoever. Any fast-food restaurant does better then they do and considering the quantity and quality one gets for the money, they are not that cheap. A lot of people reviewing seem to have nostalgic memories and Miguel Jr. seems to live on that - they certainly don't seem to care and take no pride what the food looks and tastes like, once they made the sale, especially their take-out meals. In the future, will drive to Super Mex in Riverside. Yes, I will pay $ 2.50 more for their Chile Verde dinner, but will get 2 x the food in proper take out containers with also pico de gallo and guacamole in the dinner trays, plus a good-size salsa container and a bag of fresh-made chips on the side, plus several wrapped tortillas. Enough for 2 meals, so effectively a lot cheaper then Miguel's Jr. read more

I absolutely love this place and make sure I stop in every time I come to corona. Well, that had all changed after today. I myself work in the service industry so I understand and completely forgive able when things happen like cold food. I stopped by today and ordered a BRC. As I drive away, I attempted to munch on my burrito and the beans are barely luke warm and the cheese wasn't even melted. I could have been mad and turned around to make a complaint like most do, but instead I decided to give them a courtesy call just to let them know to check the beans to ensure another guest doesn't encounter the same thing. The person on the phone who supposedly was the manager laughed, never apologized, and made me feel like an inconvenience. As a manager, she should have taken this feedback seriously as ready to eat food must be held at a certain temperature to be considered safe. Hopefully no one gets sick from this place today!!!! Customer service usually is great, but after today I will never be back. read more

Horrible service at this location... eating area was dirty... bathroom was disgusting. I grew up in corona and have been eating Miguels for 35 yrs. I normally eat at the Norco and South Corona locations. I Went there to have dinner with my daughter. Food arrived and there was a mistake with my burrito. So no big deal.. I brought it to Alex the mgr and informed him and he said he would fix it right away. So.... 30 minutes later, still no burrito and my daughter is done with her dinner and now we have to go. I asked Alex for a refund since we couldn't wait any longer. He did not care that I was waiting at all and started giving me the refund.. I looked over at the back of the counter and saw a burrito sitting there so I asked him "is that my fixed burrito.?" He said Yes.. so then I became upset and asked why he didn't tell me and that I've been sitting here just 6 feet away waiting for at least 30 minutes..!!. He still didn't care and just gave me a refund. Honestly that really left a bad impression on me and was really disappointing. I wish the Miguels family would take things like this seriously because I guarantee that I'm not the only person that Alex has done this to. read more

The refried beans and hot sauce are what makes this place special. Beans are cooked with lard I believe. Bean rice and cheese burrito is their signature item. Shredded beef tacos are decent but taquitos are dry. read more
