Hi guys! This awesome tea spot was at the Boba Festival in San José this year and they were serving a delicious tea that I did not get the name of. Does anyone know it? I'm in desperate need to order this tea again. Please help a girl out 🙏🏼

Absolutely stupid experience with the Pleasant Hill Vitality Bowls location and corporate customer…read moreservice. We placed a Mother's Day order for pickup Sunday morning. My husband arrived around 8:10 AM, after the store's posted opening time of 8:00 AM, only to find the business completely closed with no communication whatsoever. No call. No email. No cancellation notice. Nothing. What followed was somehow worse. I called the store multiple times throughout the day and left several voicemails that were never returned. I also emailed both the location and corporate customer service and received no response. Corporate didn't answer their phones either. All of this over a $35 order that the business happily charged for but never fulfilled. Today, I went into the store in person to ask for a refund and was met with attitude and defensiveness from the manager instead of accountability or even a simple apology. I was told they "do answer their phones" despite my multiple unanswered calls and voicemails. I was then told they could not issue a refund because it had been "more than two days," even though the delay was entirely caused by their complete lack of response and failure to handle the issue. The store being unexpectedly closed is frustrating enough. Ignoring customers afterward and then treating them poorly when they ask for their money back is unacceptable. I'm still waiting to hear from the "other manager" or "boss" who is supposedly able to process my refund. Who apparently already had my information but was "too busy" to respond to me sooner. Give me a break. At this point, it's not even about the $35. It's about the complete lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service.

If one things for sure, by far the best boba shop I've been too that exceeds my expectations. 1. Drinks: This shop has a unique quality to them. Probably the best black milk tea I've had, aka their classic milk tea. 10/10 first timers must try. Great thing about it, you can adjust how sweet your drinks can be. Their taro is also different than most shops. They use real taro instead of the sugary powder other shops have. If you're adventurous and wanna try something different, go for it. 2. Service: the staff is very friendly and they answered all my questions I had. They were very welcoming and I was pleased with their service the many times I've been here. 3. Interior/Exterior. The store is kinda off in a corner, kinda hard to easily spot when you're in the Plaza, but it's next to Safeway and the Taqueria. But inside is really big and spacious. Alot of tables and room. But some nights. It gets so packed, it's hard to find seating. I'm assuming they're most busy around night time than during the day. Overall Quality, I'm in love. read more

When I come to the lab milk tea it is look okay to just play game with friend and going date . I order the Popcorn chicken #3 Pearl Milk Tea and #1 Milkcow. The popcorn chicken tasted so the nasty it either really burnt, too cold, or even raw chicken piece . I could be so sick . I put away the chicken in trash . What a waste a five dollars. The flavor taste too much garlic so ew. The Pearl Milk Tea was so gross the boba on the inside was still no cook done. The tea is much water taste and disgust . Also the Milkcow just tasted like sugar and milk how uncreatively I could do that my home . It is no worth $4.34. This is the last time I will go here if anyone ask me to come back it a hard no . Place is in busy shopping center, parking is fine, poor visibility but nice size store. Service is lacking. Though the cashier was very friendly the time it took for my friend and I to get our drinks was beyond acceptable. There was only one person in line ahead of us and the store wasn't busy. It took over 10 minutes to get our two drinks. The guy ahead of us was complaining as he only had a 15 minute break from the local business and he wasn't going to be able to get drink his drink because it took so long. I had the taro, which was really bad, sorry it had chunks in it and wasn't sweet. I got jelly in mind so I can't speak to the quality of their tapioca bobas. But, given the slow service and bad drink experience, combined with prices that aren't anything special, I don't think I will be coming back. read more

I come here almost everyday , here is the reason why I love this place so much , #1 their price are good , $4.35 you get large cup of milk tea when I say large it's really is a large , their large is bigger than the usual one #2 their staff are super friendly and helpful , every time I walked in I felt welcoming #3 they opened until 2:00AM everyday which is a plus for student like me #4 they have a lot different board games #5 Free wifi and a lot parking spot # 6 their popcorn chicken and takoyaki was awesome this is my new favorite place to stay :) Ps. I've been here one time and never again. It's a bunch of young people working while socializing amongst themselves. I ordered the taro which took more than 15 minutes to come out (come on, 15 minutes for a boba drink!?!) and it was disgusting. It's like it wasn't mixed well so had pieces of chewy hard stuff come through the straw. and the boba wasn't fresh so I threw it out. the place also hadn't been cleaned for a while it seemed by looking around the floors and tables. Not worth your time or money. Maybe it's for the teens who want to stay out late and have no other late night options? Not for me. read more

This is my first time try out this boba place in pleasant hill , I was shocked when I walked in , they have a lot of space in here , it's hard to find , this place locate next to Thai and Safeway , I ordered apple tonic which is a bomb , never had this kind of drink before at the other boba place , also the staff are super friendly they offered me a roasted milk tea for sample but I like my apple tonics more , will come back and try the mango tonic~ ps. My favorite boba place in town! I came here almost everyday. I've tried almost everything that's on the menu and to be honest, they are all good! Jasmine milk tea with boba, egg pudding and grass jelly is my favorite combination. Their large size cup is huge! I have never saw this large size cup of milk tea before. I am happy that they are now selling food also, and what's more they have Takoyaki. I do not have to go to Japan town or some Japanese restaurant to get Takoyaki anymore. read more

I would give them 5 stars because their drinks and popcorn chicken are the best but it was a super hot day and they were out of water cups so I offered to buy a milk tea at $5 but just wanted water and ice in it and the girl behind the counter said I'm not allowed to do that- what! Waited 15 minutes for 2 drinks with only two customers before me. One cup had some red bean residue on it that made my hand all sticky. Gross. Three stars for the friendly cashier who took my order and cleanliness of the place. As a recommendation, maybe you should have a towel or something to wipe the cups before giving it to customers like they do in Shared Tea in San Ramon. The roasted milk tea is a too watery.. Although we have experienced a few episodes of upset stomachs after visiting here, we continue to frequent this establishment 1-2 times weekly due to its proximity to our home. The customer service is satisfactory. However, the board games and other activities are the primary draw for my children. Last time I came here they must've been having drain issues and the whole place smelled like sewer or a back up toilet. I couldn't even order our drinks without gagging. I came from Hong Kong to visit a friend living in San Leandro. I thought Hong Kong has one of the best milk tea but after I tried the Mango Tea i instantly fell in love with it. Beyond the great service, the location itself is always well maintained. The staff clearly put in extra effort to decorate for different holidays throughout the year, which is such a nice touch and makes the space feel welcoming every time I walk in. The shu mai and shrimp dumplings were great. The sesame balls were extraordinary. They were hot, crispy, and sweet, with no greasy after flavor, which many have. I will be getting them every time I come in for a tea, as now I'm addicted. I've only met two people here, who I think might be the owners, and they are both extremely polite. I understand places get busy and mistakes happen, but no one checked on my order or apologized for the mix-up even after I had ask the girl why did the officers get there drinks before us.
