This place is the most disorganized repair shop out there. More concerned with making money. Works for the insurance company. Ships all motor work to outside source that they work for. They work for everybody but the client. They will call you repeatedly with a deadline but they just move when it arrives. When I called them they said they'd call back but never did. I have never left a bad review for any business, but this is a special case. What started off as a reasonable experince deteriorated to the owner "Jim" yelling at me on phone and instructing me to never call back. This is after my insurance paid $21k + for over inflated, padded repair charges. They had my truck for 6 weeks, which in of itself is not an issue. They gave me a delivery date which came and passed. They told me I could take my vehicle without windshield wipers functioning. They said I could bring it back when parts arrive, I declined. I guess they fired my estimator midway through process which probably gummed the works. That being said, after vehicle was delivered (nice that they did deliver it) the sun rose the following day and I noticed cracked damaged parts that they missed. Brought it back to "jim" who said they would fix it. A week passed and I did not get any call backs, despite leaving 3 messages. Finally did get "jim" to answer on a friday at 5:00pm... This is a qoute "how dare you call me on a friday at 5pm, I told you I would get to it when I get time, why did you call your adjuster?, I will sell the repair to your insurance, DONT CALL ME BACK!" I had him on speaker phone in front of several people. Apparently, when they get paid and deliver vehicle, they no longer care about the customer.... Strangest exchange I have ever had in my life, he was pretty much belligerent on phone. The panic in his voice when I told him I was in communication with my adjuster was also quite curious. The office folks were friendly, the techs seemed knowledgable but the so-called owner "Jim"... Something is not right with that guy. There are plenty of other shops in Redding. I would avoid Miller collision center at all costs... Funny thing they gave me a lifetime guarantee on repairs (and I had $21k in damage).. That little certificate is not fit to wipe my backside, as if I would EVER go back to that place... read more

Amazing staff. And very quality work. They take care of you and always make sure you have transport while your car is at the shop. My insurance did not cover rental car so they took me home when i droped off my vechicle to be repaired and came and gave me a ride back to the shop when the repair was done. They did the job fast and were always helpful when I had any questions. Tottaly recomend their business. read more

I wouldn't recommend this collision center to anybody. I left my car with them for a week with the understanding my trunk latch needed to be replaced, that it was the main reason I even called my insurance to have my car repaired; was because my cars trunk flew OPEN on the freeway. You would think collision specialist "Subaru certified" center of Northern California would understand the severity of this issue. I picked my car up last week, to my surprise they did not even tamper with my trunk latch and I am once again. Stuck with a car where the trunk does not latch. I have called four separate times now to have my car re-evaluated, and to speak to the manager, JIM, who has now adamantly avoided me for the past week, to figure out my lingering issues. So no, I wouldn't recommend this shop, their half ass work, nor would I recommend giving them ten stars, like they hassled me and asked me to. :) I will be calling the better business bureau. read more

They definitely give you the run around and make sure they take their sweet time and tell you times your car will be available and then love to change it in you last minute! I got rear ended and went to Millers to get a estimate on the damage on my rear bumper. They were pretty nice and respectful at first when they gave me a visual estimate. They explained to me the whole process of what was going to happen and how it going to be done and they were very professional about that. Then we scheduled a appointment with them to get the bumper fixed. But I really wasn't wanting to get my bumper fixed right away because the estimate they gave was worth more than half of my car. They were getting really pushy and trying to get me to have them fix it so they could have the 2500$ they quoted me at. So the day of the appointment comes and I go in and tell them I don't want to get my car repaired I just wanted more than a visual estimate and wanted to know the extent of the damages underneath the bumper because I got hit pretty hard. I gave them permission to just take the bumper off and I just wanted a new valid estimate. I dropped my car off at 9 and then I drove back by the shop to see if they took it in and starting working on it and they took the car in at approximately 10 then 2 o clock comes around so I call them and ask if my cart is ready for pickup and jennifer said no but we are about to take the bumper off. So I call back around 4 and they said they had just took the bumper off and there is no major damages just the renforment bar needs to be and replaced and the bumper of course so I say ok thank you may I come by and pick up the car and she says no because the technicians left and I will have to pick it up tomorrow because it's a liability if I take the car home without the bumper on. So very frustrated I say ok and hang up. The next afternoon I call them and say I want to pick up my car have it and ask if it's ready. But they say they are not going to but the car back together until I pay 182$ for the disasembly and reassembly of the bumper and I ask them shouldn't the insurance pay for that and jennifer said no since I was not going to have them do the repairs right away I would have to pay for them to release the car keep in my jennifer was very rude and unkind during this whole situation. So then I talked to the owner john and he said the same thing and I said I shouldn't have pay for a "free" estimate and he just makes up some stupid excuses and I say ok whatever I'm coming down there to pickup my car and have it ready. I get there and give them there nearly 200$ for the supposed "free" estimate ans then one of the technicians come in and john asks if he can put the car back together and then he asks how long the guy says an hour and me I'm already furious and just want my damn car back. Then I say to them I can take my car home right now and put my bumper back on for free then john says oh yes we can do that even though jennifer said I couldn't. So he says I can do that I just have to pay the 100$ disassembly and I say ok just get my car ready for me. So that was the last thing miller did to me they scammed me out of a 100$ for a free estimate. They were very pushy torwards me trying to get me to give them the 2500$ to fix my car and they were so rude and unprofessional over the phone when I was just trying to get my car back. I will never go back to millers and I wouldn't recomend them to anyone they aren't a real body shop they are just a bunch of scammers trying to get money out of people. read more

So after pulling my car from this shop for pour customer service I had been working on my car myself minor cosmetic damage little bit of welding to do. While replacing my bumper I see they have not only lost bolts but parts also like WTF did you do to my car. After being charged $140 for a FREE estimate. Not even deserving of one star. My daughter chose this shop to repair her 2012 Nissan. After 13 days, I went with her to get the "completed" car. Jim walked around the car with us. The replaced front fender, had a crease in the wheel radius. VERY obvious! I can't believe the body man & painter couldn't notice that! Then the fender & door no longer align properly! Apparently Progressive Ins would only allow USED parts. They scratched the window tint when they replaced the door skin. And the front wheel was supposed to be fixed or replaced because it was scraped. NOPE! Not touched. So, Jim apologized for the sub-standard work. He said they would take care of it all. Make it right. Since they would need the car back for two more days, he offered her a loaner car. I heard this! Now he denies offering a loaner, for her inconvenience. I have nothing but positive reviews for Miller Collision Center. I ran over a rock (closer to boulder size) and ripped loose several plastic/rubber parts on the right rear quarter panel as well as a number of scratches and a small dent. They had the replacement parts very quickly, they did the work very quickly and I thought the price was fair. They were more than willing to only fix what I wanted fixed and not add more to the job. They also let me use their company vehicle for an hour or so while they were doing the repairs. That was definitely above and beyond. read more

About a month ago i took my truck to miller collision to get a quote, the manager/owner (Jim) helped me, took pictures and proceded to tell me I would have my quote by email on Monday morning (this was on Saturday). Wednesday rolled around and I still didn't have it, so I called and the nice desk lady told me I would have it the next day or on Friday. The weekend passed so I called again, got another date, that date passed so i called AGAIN (this time not as friendly) the owner told me he would stay late and get it done.. Guess what? No call back. Another week passed and I decided to call today. He tells me he lost the pictures he took and that he still didn't have the quote. Seriously!? I'm a manager myself and if it was my business id be getting ahold of my customers to make it right!! I told him I was about to go somewhere else and he says "that's a good idea" are you kidding me!? I will never go back to miller collision and I would never recommend it considering the HORRIBLE service from the OWNER!! read more

I was recommended by my mechanic, who had "heard' great things about the service. Unfortunately, this was NOT the case with my experience. My parked, vehicle was hit in a business parking lot on August 23, 2016. The "at fault" party handled my case extremely well. They supplied me with a rental. However, Miller Collision Center, gave me a date & time to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at the shop, only to be told it would not be ready until the next day, which was Saturday, September 3, 2016, the beginning of the Labor Day Holiday weekend. The rental driver had to take me back to get the rental back so that I could get home. What would have been better..... call me, let me know that it would not be ready, so that I could go home, instead of waiting around until 5pm, just to be told it wasn't ready. Molly delivered my vehicle to my home on Saturday, which I appreciated. However, the back hatch molding was not glued down and had a piece of the broken tail light inside. I immediately called Jim; he said he would pick the car up on Tuesday, at my office and repair it. He did and relayed that one of the glass hatch lift pieces must have broken when the parts were put back together and he would take care of it, which he did. Today, September 20, 2016, I noticed that the back hatch molding is separating again. I called Jim on his cell to relay this. He said I would have to bring the car in for repair and wait while it was being repaired. I asked if someone could come pick it up, as I am working and cannot just leave and wait. I reminded him that this was a problem THEY created and since they guarantee their work, he should also provide a person to pick my car up and repair it on THEIR time, NOT mine. TRULY, I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO MILLER Collision Center and I made my mechanic aware. He was extremely apologetic and will no longer refer anyone to them. -Thena Lyons read more
