Absolutely incredible! The food here is bursting with authentic flavors. Every single dish was cooked to absolute perfection, and the portions were incredibly generous. The side dishes were fresh, varied, and the perfect complement to the main courses. The service was good the staff was warm, attentive, explained each dish we was wondering how is look like I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. I came back here like million time and food always tastes the same really good!

I love the food at millions There is a lot to choose from and it was my 1st time trying something new which was the pork's feet and I love it because I can wrap it and add in some vegetables that they gave us with it. The service was great and understanding our orders for how many people.

Still good Korean food. Potato salad is the best. Enjoyed the spicy chilled noodles too. Spicy wings were a bit meh too much sauce and too much batter

Yang Ye Park and husband Sung Yong with their 5 children grew up in Jeonlado, a region of Korea's countryside known for cooking up delicious traditional cuisine. The family's recipes are based on this foundation, but make their own spin on the flavors. They previously were in the restaurant industry and decided they wanted to open their own restaurant. Thus, Million Restaurant was opened in 1989 in a hole-in-the-wall spot on Sheridan St. and continues to be popular, but Yang Ye Park has since retired, Sung Yong has passed away, and daughter Diana Park and the rest of the kids have taken over. On 4/11/22, the Paik Family opened Million Kapiolani, a bigger, more elegant space with private room options not available at the Sheridan St hole-in-the-wall location. The Paik Family also opened Woori Sohn Mandoo near Beretania and Punahou streets in lower Makiki in April 2024. Specializing in housemade mandoo, they sell them in takeout frozen quantities, as well as various bentos. Million Restaurant offers an extensive menu of delicious Korean bbq and noodle dishes in a casual atmosphere. The menu includes: * Soup: pollack, kim chee, beef intestine, Korean miso, chicken, short rib, ox tail, beef tendon. * Noodles: chilled soup, spicy sauce, house. * Grilled/Fried: spicy pork, kalbi, bulgogi, chicken, fish, oxtail. * Pan Broiled: pork belly, fish. * Sides: rice cake, mandoo, kim chee pancake, pig feet, egg battered beef/fish, chicken wings, cold tofu. * Yakiniku sets: seasoned meats, seafood & veggies that you can grill your own. * Lunch specials (11a to 3p only): meat jun, kalbi, bulgogi, pork/chicken cutlet, mundoo, fish, hot stone pot, buckwheat noodles. * Special plates: similar menu of lunch specials during non-lunch hours. Most meals served with shredded cabbage with dressing, rice, seaweed soup and complimentary banchan. Banchan includes: cucumber kim chee, fish cake, won bok kim chee, bean sprouts, potato salad, taegu, seaweed, and more. Additional servings of banchan are complimentary upon request. All banchan are tasty and can be an easy meal just with rice! We are usually there during lunch, so I always order my favorite lunch special of kalbi plate. Love their long lunch hours that end at 3p. The kalbi is freshly grilled in the back kitchen and is served piping hot and has the perfect kalbi taste after being marinated in Millions' special sauce. Hubby's choice is usually meat jun and bbq chicken combo, which is also grilled in the kitchen, served piping hot, and is so savory and flavorful. Portions are generous, so there are always leftovers for another meal. Excellent customer service provided by the Paik Family, who have been in the restaurant business their lifetime and are very attentive and friendly. A loud welcome greeting is happily shouted as you enter, and they quickly guide you to a vacant table, bring out the banchan and menus, take your orders, and bring out water, hot tea, rice, and soup. As your orders are quickly prepared and served, they ensure that you are adequately provided for, replenish your water, and bring out your bill for efficient processing. As you leave, they loudly thank you for your patronage and then say goodbye. What a great dining experience! Hours of operation are Sun to Thur 11a to 10p, and Fri/Sat 11a to 10:30p. Millions is housed in a warehouse-like complex with other businesses. Nothing fancy, so no ambiance, as you're here for the food. It is almost retro, as mimimum renovations have been made, as you'll see enormous smoke suction piping from the ceiling to the tables to eliminate excess smoke while grilling. While unaesthetic, it serves its purpose. Tables are appropriately placed for dining in. The interior space is clean and bright. You can enter via its front entrance on Sheridan St or the back entrance from the parking lot. There are a number of free parking stalls assigned to Millions in the private lot in the back of the restaurant. Be sure to read the signs, as the private lot is shared with other businesses, and parking may be limited during the peak lunch and dinner times. If you are parked in another business' space, your car may be towed. There is also metered and free street parking. Unless we're entertaining, the Millions on Sheridan St does its job for us! Savory and delicious food, as well as excellent customer service puts this restaurant on our lunch rotation list. Thank you to the Paik Family for their hard work in their Korean cuisine businesses in all these years with many more to come! Support local!

It's one of the favorite go to places for Korean lunch specials because they have variety of meats and fishes choice like meat Jun, chicken, kalbi, bulgogi, mandoo, mackerel, salmon, corbina, fish Jun and some combination during lunch time. They even sell frozen Woori Sohn mandoo here. The owner works here or somehow related to here. If you come early, they make in the morning some grab and go chop chae (meatless). Somehow I love the Hawai'i Banchan Company's. On the menu is the full order with beef. The Ban Chan were good too, but there were some I like more than others. Recently I had their spicy pork and it wasn't too spicy even if you may be fooled by the red color! It was just right! The thinly sliced marinated pork belly was tasty, tender and delicious stir fried with onions. It's one of the better one I've tried! I would get this again but just can't take home to share with my mom since she doesn't eat spicy foods. My absolutely favorite is the Kalbi Jjim! Just loved the taste here or at their Milllion2 where I first had it. It's just on the pricier side but worth it. I've tried other places but I personally like Millions! They use the big bone short ribs in a sweet and savory broth. I can taste the rice wine -mirin? It's a dish you will be thinking about it for awhile afterwards! Treat yourself to a kalbi Jjim! Parking in the designated area in the back lot or metered parking in front.

Million was my first introduction to Korean Yakiniku oh so many years ago in the last century. I was definitely a fan at that time and it has been a while since I've gone back to the original. Too bad it wasn't what I remembered. Still at the same location along Sheridan St, near Kapiolani Blvd., and next to Hyung Je. There's parking in the back of the building, entering from Makaloa St. The inside still feels and looks exactly the same as 25+ years ago. Small, dank, dim-lighted, with the long, red colored booths, dark carpet (at least looks newer), and grill smoke all around (less with the overhead vents). Service is the same. You have the older, friendly mama-san that always smiles and is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family. But you have the cold faced, middle aged one that always seems bothered or annoyed when you ask her for things or if you need an extra minute to order. The menu is the same as the one on Kapiolani sans the Wagyu meats. The prices seem to be exactly the same between the two places, which I would think the smaller Sheridan location would be a touch less, but you still get a TON of food! Be that as it may. It was a decent experience. The Banchan was excellent. Loved each one: the mashed potato salad, Kim chee, bean sprout, bean curd, and Korean spinach. Fresh, tasty, and flavorful. Let's start off with the bad (yes, bad) dishes. The Beef Tendon soup had zero flavor. No salt or any seasoning was added. Tendon was tough (no flavor got in). It was just tendon and glass noodle with scallion on top. That's it. Pass. Or ask for salt, black pepper, chili powder, sesame oil, and maybe some soy sauce and MSG. The Mool Naengmyeon suffered from very light flavor as well. Not AS bad as the soup as it had some broth flavor, but ate overall bland. The Jok-Bal was okay. This was "steamed" Sliced Pig's Feet (not braised or boiled?) per the menu. Meat had no taste and was more toothsome than I'd like. It came with raw garlic slices, lettuce, Ssamjang, and dried radish Kimchee for some ready. Where's the little salty shrimp sauce? The variety of add ons wasn't enough balance out the tasteless and tough meat. The Bibimbap was so-so. You do get a huge portion. The steel bowl is filled with bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, cabbage, beef, an over cooked pan fried egg, and etc. with multiple small bowls of rice on the side and a bottle of bibimbap sauce. The main thing that stood out was the oiliness from the beef and too much (not the best quality) sesame oil. We went with the Set A that comes with seasoned kalbi, beef outskirt steak, brisket, Bulgogi, and shrimp. Everything was pretty good. The biggest issue was our table. 1 grill didn't work, and the other does not get hot enough to sear the raw meat to a nice char even on high. I was envious of the sizzling and smoke from the other tables. We basically just slow cooked everything. It was still good, but missing the char and smokiness loses the experience of Korean BBQ. The best part of the meal was the Seafood and Green Onion Pancake. Came out hot, crispy, tasty, fragrant, and delicious. Squid was tender and the rest of the seafood was cooked nicely. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere and intimate and homey feel of Million. The food was acceptable (except the tasteless soup). It definitely could've been better prepared, and the grill could've worked properly for a much better and authentic experience. Even though, the experience wasn't up to par, I feel more comfortable and prefer here than the other location.

I heard a lot about Million Restaurant but never been here before, finally decided to give it a try and was really impressed. I always assumed it was more of a takeout spot, but it turns out they have a fairly large and comfortable dine-in area. Can't really tell from the outside. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the Kalbi and Min Jun combo, and it was packed with great all-around flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. The portions were generous, and the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Definitely a solid spot worth revisiting. Glad I finally checked it out! Will definitely be back.

Million restaurant is a very good Korean restaurant. The owners are Korean and the cooks are Korean. Everything we ordered was tasty and delicious. The Kim Chee in their bonchon had more heat than at other Korean restaurants I've been to. The Galbi was tasty and marinaded perfectly. The meat was tender, not chewy with alot of ligaments running throughout the ribs. The japchae was also very good. We all liked the meat Jun which went very well with the accompanying sauce. Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Million Restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Korean cuisine, give Millions a try.

    Mandu Guksu
    Raymond K.

My first time here, although we've been to the Kapiolani location several times. I had been craving mandu guksu, but it wasn't available at the place I went to yesterday. I thought for sure Million Restaurant would have it, since they sell frozen mandu in bulk. It was early afternoon when I arrived. This location appeared clean and spacious. I asked if I could order mandu guksu. The gentleman said yes, and asked if it was to go. I said I would be eating in, so he prepared a table. As usual, the banchan came first - not too much, not too little. The soup arrived a few minutes later. I liked how big and tasty the mandu were. I ate everything and enjoyed it, including the banchan. Service was cordial and prompt.

Came here for the meat jun. several yelp reviews said this was the place to go. Absolutely The food is delicious! I can't put it into words how good it was. There's street meter parking or some parking spots for the restaurant in the back. Definitely a foodies spot.

After a few days of American dining, our family stopped by this establishment to get our Korean food fix. We ordered the kimchi stew, bibimbap, grilled fish and braised beef. Out of the two, the kimchi stew and bibimbap were the winners. The fish was overcooked/burnt, the braised beef overly sweet. The servers were not kind, more annoyed that we asked for some more side dishes and water. In addition, the parking lot was extremely small/inconvenient. Furthermore, the ambiance was outdated and had very poor ventilation.

4.5 ONO yakiniku food!! Waitress Zoe was great! Super friendly & quick!! We ordered the yakiniku C- sub the brisket for pork belly and an order of seafood pancake. Yakiniku came with 2 rice, seaweed soup, banchan, seasoned lettuce salad. One of their banchan dish was a jelly like kimchee side. Not sure what the name was but the sauce was soooo DELICIOUS!! The Kalbi & chicken was well seasoned- so so GOOD!! The seafood pancake although it was $23 it still was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!! We dipped it in the sauce from the jelly & bruhhh...AH-MAZING!!! Everything was really GREAT!! Found this place on yelp while looking for dinner after pearl city high schools graduation. Glad we came!! We love a puka in da wall place!! Definitely will be back!

Awesome seafood kimchi pancake! If going, get it. You will not be disappointed. Had the soft tofu soup which is also very good.

The guava bar was delicious and flavorful and just crumbles in your mouth! Definitely one of the better guava bars I've tried. Love how crumbly it is. The salmon belly was delicious OMFG. It looks so simple and straightforward but that sht is so flavorful. It is crispy and yet soft on the inside. The salmon belly is cut into bite-sized pieces so I didn't have to worry about using a knife to cut it. I usually try salmon belly where it is usually seasoned lightly to bring out the natural flavor of the salmon, but Guava Smoked's salmon belly is just grilled in a way that makes the salmon sweet/crispy and still get traces of the salmon taste as well. It's definitely not your traditional Japanese-style way of cooking salmon belly but really just their own. I'd go back and get this again. Another thing too. I'd get this with beer. This would hit very hard with alcohol but because I don't drink I need a kombucha. The grilled salmon belly would go perfect with it. Cheers! Uncle was very helpful and kind when serving and if you dine-in he brings it to your table.

Their parking lot is also pretty decent size, so we had no trouble finding a spot. The banchans were good! One of the sides was poke, which we've never seen at a Korean restaurant before. It was unexpected, but so fresh and delicious. We ordered the cold noodles, spicy pork bulgogi, and seafood pancake. Everything was really good, and we'd honestly rank those dishes above most of the Korean restaurants we've been to. The seafood pancake was packed with seafood flavor, and they definitely didn't skimp on the squid. The spicy pork bulgogi came with a bowl of rice and had the right amount of spicy. The cold noodles totally hit the spot and had just the right amount of toppings in every bite. I was left very satisfied and we even had leftovers of the pork and pancake to take home. Service was friendly, and everything arrived in a timely manner. We'll definitely be back soon to try the AYCE and the soups!

I like that they open at 10am and that they serve delicious banchan. I came in one weekday and was seated at one of the regular tables. I guess they assumed I wasn't going to get the AYCE, even though it's pretty affordable for weekday lunch (like $28). Id like to come back to try the ayce sometime. I decided on the cold noodle and kalbi combo for $24. The cold noodles by themselves are only $14, so I thought there would be at least a couple pieces of kalbi in the combo. Nope. Apparently one piece of kalbi is $10. It was served hot, but it was served on a hot plate with onions and the plate itself wasn't hot. Why serve it on a hot plate? Very confusing. The cold noodles were refreshing, but you can get pretty good cold noodles at any Korean restaurant I think. I was a little disappointed in the quantity of food for the combo. Or I wish they had an actual lunch special, maybe I should have just got the ayce at this point right? But I wanted the cold noodles.... Oh well. It doesn't seem like they changed the interior all that much. It was pretty nice inside to begin with and there is a big parking lot. The workers come by when you ring the table side bell. Lol, otherwise they kind of just drop off the food and leave you alone. I was surprised there were like 3 other couples eating from the Ala carte menu at 10:30. I would possibly come back to try their other soups, but I wouldn't get suckered into getting the combos.
