How much for lunch with Labor Day?

I would budget around $30/adult for a holiday lunch at Milpitas Buffet, and include some extra money for drinks, tax and gratuity.

    Do they have alcohol?

No - they don't sell alcohol

When are crab legs available at your buffet?

    Dinner time after 3:15PM

    ¿Cuánto cobran x persona?

Monday thru Saturdays at dinner and all day on Sundays or on Holidays.

Do they have a senior price?

    10% off for seniors.

Do they charge more on holidays?

Yes on holidays they have an all day price for both lunch and dinner

Do they only offer the crab legs during dinner time? Or is it also available during lunch time?

How can we make a reservation for a large party 50+ people? I tried calling but the phone line is always busy

The line is always busy. The best thing to do is come early. People will be scattered b/c they will not have a table large enough for a party of 50. The restaurant can definitely accommodate a lot more people than 100.

Do your buffet offer free meal on birthday?

Yes, with proof of ID and 5 paying adults.

What are stuffs that only serve for dinner?

Milpitas Buffet Finally open after Covid https://youtu.be/LdjdgMP_R00

Do you have sashimi in lunch menu?

Yes, but the sashimi and sushi is very limited at this restaurant. They also have a small selection of cooked vegetables.

My favorite is the assortment of meat on the left side of the buffet. There's fried food and noodles that I like too. I always order a bowl of wonton hot soup at the soup bar. There are a lot of tables packed together in this restaurant, which makes it hard to get food if you sit farther. There's not a lot of space for walking. The environment is familial and friendly due to the high crowds. Overall, there's a large array of food, a lot of seating, and great discounts on certain days. I recommend this spot if you're looking for a buffet in East San Jose.

Service was okay, they will get their job done, water filled and dirty dishes bussed. The day we went, it wasnt too crowded so its a great thing. We also noticed people celebrating their birthdays, so id say that their ambiance is vibrant. There are not a lot of buffet restaurants in the Bay, so having this buffet in San Jose is a great treat. Its all you can eat!!! So dont expect an Omokase style of food. The sushi they serve is equivalent to the sushi served by lower tier Japanese restaurants in the bay! And the chinese section similar. So complaining because of their price and food quality is non-sense. It is ALL YOU CANT EAT! Now, lets just wish that they consistently pass their health inspection. They seem to have a trend of failing due to "infestation".

I don't remember much about the place so I got no positive or negative experiences I can compare to this visit. I have been to many similar buffets all over Northern California so my expectations are not too high here. My first attack was the sushi bar. Very good sushi selection for lunch. Comparable Tomi and World Gourmet Buffet in Fremont. No complaints. Made my way to the hot foods. Some familiar and some different items. First time seeing curry beef. The stir fry rice noodle they had was bland so I put the curry over it. It was good, I got a second helping. They had a pork ribs soup with either wintermelon or radish, couldn't tell what it was but it gave the soup some sweetness to it. If you're Asian you might have had it at home. It is light and soothing. Different than the usual hot and sour soup which they had but I skipped. Those were the two items I wanted to talk about in my review as no other Asian buffet had these. There are other typical items, aren't much different from other places so I'll keep this short. Must finish your meal with soft serve ice cream! It's comparable to McDonald's just doesn't have the strong vanilla flavor McDonald's has. I got a second cone for the road. I will come back one more time with my dad as he loves buffet like I do.

Maybe avoid the cook oysters, my brother and I both had one and got sick from it. My mother ate the same food except the oysters and she was fine. The one thing I liked was that food stayed decently warm. Service was nice

And the brisket. I forgot what number that was. They also offered to change our grill twice. We only needed it changed once. My favorite seems to be going downhill…read more This is specifically for the Fremont location, which I visited about once a month: . Generally servers seem to be way distracted, I am not talking about checking by once 10 minutes, I am talking about after 10 minutes asking any employee where is my server and I need to order the next one and then can't find my server for 5 more minutes. And this is for EVERY single time of my recent visits, so it is not a particular server. It is very likely something happening in internal organization, not motivated? Too many tables? . Tonight after getting to be the breaking point of angry, one dude (I think it was a busboy) made a high pitch sound directly into my ears when I walked out of the restroom and passed by him. I baffled a bit of what was happening and was sure that he did it as a revenge for something, it must have been that I politely asked him several times that I needed to order something, I wasn't unhappy at him but my server. It was absolutely a misconduct that manager might just brush it off as unintended but the kid should be fired on the ground. So next time I would immediately give him the same treatment of screaming into his ears if he does that again. I am greatly disappointed that the chain has deteriorated this much, but it is what it is. Management should take note.
