Milwaukee sail loft was delicious and fun! I ordered the lemon pepper mahi mahi which came with a delicious red wine butter which I can't recommend enough. The sides were crazy good too! The flourless chocolate cake is a can't miss, seriously take it to go for later if you're too full. The vibes were fantastic, especially right on the water it was gorgeous! But the highlight of the night was far and away our server, Sophia! Even though she looked so busy and had a bunch of tables we were so well taken care of. One of my friends had an allergy and she took it so seriously. Give her a raise immediately! Thank you milwaukee sail loft I will definitely be back again.

I recently visited the Sail Loft with my mother before a concert for a light bite and some cocktails. We didn't have a great deal of time so we sat at the bar. A lot of the crowd seemed to be doing the same thing we were. The bar area is light and bright with a nice view - more casual than I expected with a fairly tacky mounted shark for whatever reason. There is also outdoor seating. Our drinks came pretty quickly and while my mom's was good, my batch cocktail was extremely watery. When the bartender came back I asked her for a glass to get some of the ice out and she offered to remake it, which I gladly accepted and it was night and day better. Our crab dip was good, with some spice to it. The crab was more a hint than actual pieces and the artichoke pieces were quite large, so the balance was off. The chips they came with were good and homemade. The mushrooms were served cold, which was surprising and I would not call it a bruschetta, since they came separate from the crackers and the cheese crostini. On their own, they would become quite boring, but when everything was combined into a bite, with the crab dip, it became a nicely balanced bite. The portions were generous. This is a place I'm glad I tried, but I'm not overly compelled to come back for a meal. The location is great, so maybe another round of drinks on the river one day.

Came here with a group of co-workers. Wasn't clear as to what door was acceptable to use or not if walking up from the side and we ended up coming in the back door and being semi-told off by a server for not using the right door and then getting irritated as we tried to figure out what direction to go to get to where we were instructed by her. The server we ended up with was confused and overwhelmed and initially reversed drinks of. Few of those who were in my group. He was overwhelmed and there was only a couple tables in the pace beside us but we did get the drinks sorted out ourselves as he was flustered. Food came and it was actually really good and for that I will give the 4 stars but service was 2 stars at best. Sat a long time before seeing refills when needed. I'd recommend trying this but diner beware service can be shaky and make sure you use the street side door to come in.

Good food, good drinks, good view and good service. Had the Camilari which was quite tasty. The Friday Fish Fry (beer battered) was slighty bready but, good. The drinks were done like any other place. The infused vodka drinks were good. The pineapple jalapeño drink was also good Our server Matt, was fun and attentive. Made the visit enjoyable. Enjoyed the visit.

Sail Loft offers an ideal waterfront setting, making it a good choice for a special occasion. We were there celebrating a birthday. The location and outdoor patio are very appealing. However, the experience was somewhat mixed. The happy hour wasn't clearly advertised, so we had to ask the bartenders, who, unfortunately, were not particularly friendly and never smiled. The batch cocktails were also disappointing, tasting noticeably watered down and bland. The lobster roll, served cold with an overwhelming amount of celery, was not it for me. On the brighter side, I did enjoy the mahi-mahi fish tacos, which were generously sauced--something I would likely order again. However, the entrees didn't come with fries, and the old bay fries available for an extra charge were forgettable, certainly not the kind you'd savor every last one. I'd recommend Sail Loft more for its atmosphere and location than for the food or cocktails.

Food good Service fast, thank you Lilian! Sunset dinner over Milwaukee harbor scenic We enjoyed the tuna steak with grilled asparagus and green beans and almonds We also enjoyed the Maryland crab cakes with old bay fries and Brussel sprouts with bacon chips Serving portion size appropriate for price. Only set back was the Brussel sprouts were a little tough. Eatable but just not perfectly cooked.

Today, my sister and I decided to try Sail loft. They were featured on one of the downtown dining experiences this week in Milwaukee. When we walked in the atmosphere was very beach shore like which we liked. Our host of sat us down. Our waitress, came over immediately and greeted us and brought us two waters. We then looked over the menu which they had a four course dinner or three course lunch I believe.. So we started out with soup. However, they were out of clam chowder, they were also out of mushroom, bruschetta, or anything with mushrooms. So I decided to go with a broccoli cheddar soup. It was OK. My main course was lobster mini sliders, which were huge disappointment. You could barely find the lobster and it was dripping in this cream sauce that had way too much tarragon for my liking. My bun was completely soggy.. it just had way more celery and other vegetables in it. I really didn't notice any lobster whatsoever. But again our waitress was very nice and accommodating to us. I don't know if I'll be back... extremely disappointed I had high hopes about this place and was really looking forward to it all week.

Delicious food! Charming, efficient, attentive server "Summer". We recently moved to the neighborhood and will definitely become "Regulars" at the Sail Loft!

I came here 30 minutes a head of time. I don't gamble when a friend offers a river cruise after 5 o'clock I did run into a little traffic. parking was a breeze most of the parking spots are 2 hours up till 6. 30 minutes I called Ron to let him know I arrived. And I was going in for an early beer and walk around the wind was coming from the east. So it was definitely cooler at the Milwaukee bay. I had a lakefront brewery riverwest stein they gave me the thumbs up to take it outside. They have plenty of seating outside along with a mini wild flower garden at the point to the. There are two sets of challenging cornhole boards because of the wind factor 10/2023 Ambiance 5 Service 5 Location 5 Value standard pricing for the location 5

We will for sure come back here. Had a late lunch early dinner. Quinoa salad, fish tacos and Scottish Salmon. I have alpha gal syndrome (allergy to mammal) and they worked wonderfully with me. Definite you need to try this place.

Great place! Loved the location on the water, and our server was awesome. Had the Bomb burger, which was excellent. And a really good Bloody Mary. Look forward to coming back!

They take reservations online. Paid parking on the street is easy to find on weekdays. The service was good. Clam chowder seemed home made and was good. Lobster roll and crab cakes weren't bad. Drink list has a good variety.

Strawberry daiquiri- apparently it was really good. DIL had two!

Last minute stop in for dinner on Mothers Day with my hunny and his daughter. We had the best waiter, Chris. He was very friendly and gave great suggestions as well as gave me the secrets to the Sunset Margarita. We had the crab dip to start and it was delicious! I had the French onion soup, it was delicious! Nice and thick broth, full of onions cooked to perfect tenderness as well as a couple big, crispy croutons covered with a think hunk of oowie-goowie cheese The Jerk Chicken had good smog meat and seasoning. It was a tad bit salty for me, but most everything will be since I try to stay away from so much salt. He had the clam chowder and lobster raviolis. He couldn't stop raving about how good they were the whole way back home. DIL had the chowder as well with the lobster roll. She said it was really good, but wished for more-chunkier chunks of lobster. All in all, we were really impressed and really enjoyed our visit. Even the young lady bartending reached out to us across the room to make sure we enjoyed our drinks and appetizers. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back. Great customer service is hard to come by, lately. So we really appreciate when a business goes out of their way to make sure their customers are happy.

For drinks, we decided to get the cranberry kiss. Surprisingly, both of our dishes were pretty filling! The seafood Pappardelle, had lobster, scallops, shrimp, and octopus. It was on the heavier side, but the noodles that they paired with it, was absolutely amazing. The Branzino was nicely grilled, but wasn't dry on the inside. From the happy hour menu, I also ordered the Halibut Fish Fry and the Shrimp Cocktail. The Shrimp Cocktail had a sweet and chili cocktail vinaigrette, which I really enjoyed. From the dinner menu, I had the Kale Cashew Caesar, Lobster Pot Pie, and the Ora King Salmon. To my surprise, the star of the show was the Kale Cashew Caesar, which staff recommended. What made this dish so special was the generous mound of shaved Gran Moravia piled on top, complemented by lemon breadcrumbs. The combination and texture was so fun to eat. The Lobster Pot Pie is offered at market price ($55 when I went). They give you generous chunks of butter-poached lobster tails, seasonal vegetables, lobster cream in their truffle puff pastry. The Ora King Salmon was also delicious. Salmon was cooked perfectly--light and moist. I enjoyed the black garlic gnocchi and the apple gastrique that came with this dish.
