Called in a carryout order for two chicken bacon ranch salads and a prime cut mac&cheese. Upon picking up the order there were no breadsticks included with the salads. Went back in to grab them and was told salads don't come with breadsticks. This is odd because the online menu, menu in the store itself, and menu on yelp all state salads come with a breadstick and your choice of dressing. We were given breadsticks anyway, but they made it feel like they were doing me a favor. Get home and the salads are missing the egg and the croutons which are supposed to be on the salad. Paid $43 for those two salads and Mac & cheese and was made to feel like I was in the wrong asking for items which are clearly stated to accompany the meal. What a horrible experience to have for a carry out order. I definitely will never dine in or go back. read more

In town for 2 days from Michigan, I'm staying at the Fairfield across the street. I ordered a large Prime Pizza, it was delicious. Not a slab of grease as most places have, great flavors, bar is fully stocked w most any mixer you'd like. Place was clean, restroom was very tidy as well. Staff all said " Hello " my drink was refilled prompt without having to ask. My large pizza, a draft beer and soda w tip was 32 bucks, plus left enough over for midnight snack. My company has a new property near by and we always stay at the Fairfield, I'll definitely keep these guys in my phone for future trips. Pizza is always good. Probably the best chain in Kansas City. I usually build my own with pepperoni and jalapeños. My wife likes the Jumbo Combo or the Papa Minsky's. Their salads are really good. The service use to be really slow if you called in but it's gotten better over the last couple years. This location is nice if you want a few beers and watch the big game. They also have a party area for big groups or if you need to reserve an area for a party. read more

We placed our order on line for two small pizza,2 orders of Jumbo Wings,& Cheese bones..... we are no strangers to Minsky's and usually know what we are getting and willing to pay a an expensive price for good quality that cost around $70.00 for this order. We couldn't haveBeen any more disappointed..... the cheese bones were simply tossed in the container all together so it was very hard to separate them, the hamburger, onion, mushroom pizza had little of any hamburger and never did find any Onions or mushrooms mostly cheese and sauce. I had called to check previously if they received our online order so I knew when to pick it up and was told 15-20 min as they were not busy. You would think since they we not busy every thing would be great...... I'll think twice before spending this much and getting so little from a business that skimps on what is expected to be so much better. read more

We ate here with a group of about 20 for a late lunch or early dinner on a Saturday. Was really pleased with the service and the atmosphere. Our waiter was great and all of the staff very helpful. There is plenty of group seating here and we were able to call ahead and speak to a manager. As sat in back and were able to push together a bunch of tables. I liked that they have a full bar and the beer selection was great. I did not like the lack of parking and our food took a REALLY long time to arrive. Like seriously 10 or 15 mins longer than you'd expect. The food here is great. It's pizza for the most part, but we had the southwest and Greek salads and they were excellent. All of the pizza that we ordered arrived hot and was excellent. They even have gluten free and vegetarian pizzas. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. New Years Eve. My wife ordered pizza online an hour in advance. Waited for an hour and 15 minutes while people walked in, ordered and received pizza in front of me. Asked and was told "it's in the oven". Waited another 30 minutes and girl ran back into kitchen and I could see she was working up the order. Got pizza home and it was horrible. Sausage was barely present. No sauce under the cheese! I have enjoyed pizza from Minsky's in the past, but I'm done. This location has lousy service. Lies to you. My first time at this location and it was a winner! I arrived first so I grabbed a table. I was shown to a table by a lady who was fast and efficient but not really friendly or inviting. This was rectified quickly by our server Dylan. He was on point! My glass never went dry and it was a busy Friday night. Mad props! The food was so good. We each ordered a different pizza and the were all excellent. Highlight was the boneless wings. Garlic Romano wings were delicious. Great experience overall!! read more

Very disappointed in this location. We've tried this place three times over the last year. Once as eat-in and they burnt the pizza with a large party and had to wait a long time for a replacement. I love Minskys Pizza. The Tostada pizza has got to be my favorite. All their pizzas are good.

This location has COVID friendly indoor seating as well as takeout and delivery. We dined on a Sunday evening. All employees were wearing masks. I witnessed good cleaning practices of surfaces. The pizza was great as usual. We also had fresh salads and an order of wings to go. My son raves about the wings. Our server was Montana and she's fantastic! We order from the Shawnee location frequently and usually pick it up. Pizza is always delicious but we have learned not to order the cheesy breadsticks. They have been missing from an order on two occasions and one time we received raw dough. We now do delivery and have had great experiences with our delivery driver Anna W. She knocked quietly on the door because we have a funny sign about the dogs barking and then gave me dog biscuits for my dogs. Same with the last delivery. She is friendly and delivery was prompt. We will use the delivery option from now on based on how pleasant Anna has been. We now order the Prime Cut and the Louie and they are tasty. Ordered the Kelceroni and it did not have cupping pepperoni so will stick with a regular pepperoni. read more

Late Friday night the wife and I decided to get wings and a pizza. Minsky's never disappoints me. We got a small order of wings and a small meaty pizza. We waited a good deal, to the point I finished my first beer. We got the wings and had not finished one very meaty wing before our pizza arrived. This should be an easy problem for staff to avoid doing but I understand orders that go in all at once can be fixed all at once. The food as always was hot, fresh and very good. They have a vast selection of toppings, they're all fresh, the pizzas always come out perfect, the service is fantastic, and the delivery is almost always faster than the 45 minute estimate. Can't eat a whole pizza? The calzone is a great option (and is still usually more than you can eat). Personal favorite? Buffalo chicken pizza, minus the carrots, and add a double dose of cream cheese...add ranch for some dipping and you've got the perfect pie. For the people who aren't in the know like Brian R...if it's a Friday or Saturday night or you're stopping in on THE NIGHT BEFORE THANKSGIVING, chances are you'll have to wait an hour or slightly more. If you're concerned about the wait; stop in at a Casey's general store and grab a slice there; but leaving a 1 star review because you're too stupid to figure out that a good food place is going to be busy the night before a major holiday is wholly unacceptable. Waited 20 minutes to get a box, 20 minutes to get a beer, in fact another waitress had to come over because our waitress was on the "phone". No one asked us how our meal was and we had to physically go to the bar to request items. Ridiculous. After speaking to the manager Austin, it is clear that this store lacks management. When told about the service he exclaimed, "Well you already bashed me! You didn't allow me to fix anything." A discount from our bill doesn't excuse the horrible service. Not my favorite pizza. We had the thin crust and there was not enough sauce. Generally the sauce was more chunky and I prefer a smoother sauce. Cheese sticks were not great- the cheese was coming off the bread and it wasn't staying together. The crust was more dry too. read more

I love minskys.... in the village. I have tried this one about 3 times and not once have I had a good experience. Super disappointed... my fiancé is from buffalo ny so he knows good wings. The picture is attached are the wings we got tonight burnt... and soggy. Two words that do not go together for wings. The manger said I'll make you new ones and to come pick them up. But I picked them up on the way home from work and I didn't want to drive back. He said he wouldn't deliver them ....? It was maybe three miles out of his delivery route.
