Make your own-medium, beef, sausage, and mushrooms

I ordered online on a busy football filled Sunday. They were running a little behind but it was fine because it gave me time to watch the final part of a game. The people there are super friendly. And they do have a fair amount of seating. We ordered a few different things. They have multiple sizes from baby to large. They have specialty pizzas or you can make your own. Plus sandwiches, salads, and pasta. We started with the cheese sticks and these are a must! It's old school Pizza Hut vibes. The marinara was delicious with lots of Parmesan. I would eat these by themselves. We went with three different pizzas. We got a baby taco pizza. All of the toppings were super fresh and for it being a small pizza, it was loaded with toppings. We also did two medium pizzas and made our own combos. One had pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. Again all the toppings were fresh. I loved the pan crust. And the marinara didn't give me heartburn. The other medium was a pineapple and Canadian bacon, we added jalapeños to half. I echo what I said about the other pizzas. Everything was delicious and this is going to be my new go to when craving just a regular delicious pizza.

Good pizza, cooked perfectly! Tasty zesty sauce. Throwback family pizza style from the 70' & 80's with a tomato oregano sauce. Crispy crust. Very nice see service! Decor is a mix of modern, rustic, & vintage. Lots of parking and spacious seating. Great for a family night. They have individual slices on weekdays only.

Glory Days Pizza - Shawnee Mission Parkway has been on my mind after seeing some recent posts, and realizing I haven't been in a while. Decided to remedy that with an all meat plus jalapeno! They are so generous with the toppings (and cheese), and their thin crust is one of my favorites. Thin without without being a cracker, which I also like cracker style crust. They're located on Shawnee Mission Parkway near Johnny's and Savers, it's convenient from 35 and 435.

We were greeted by staff as soon as we entered the restaurant. The cashier was friendly as she explained the menu and answered questions about the different sizes of pizza. We decided to order breadsticks and a specialty pizza. The breadsticks were absolutely delicious and the server provided marinara sauce as well. However, the pizza was the star of the show. There was enough pizza and breadsticks to feed four people and everyone was excited for more! This place is charming with friendly staff and yummy eats. We will definitely be visiting again, perhaps for their yummy lunch special?

The staff was really nice and helpful. They helped us get a better deal. The cheese sticks were good. The pizza was yummy. I'd give it a 4.5 or so, but the service and overall atmosphere was a 5! In addition to pizza, they also have a huge menu offering wings, sandwiches, pasta, and more.

I ordered a reuben sandwich and fries. Both were soggy and undesirable. I gave them to my chickens.

Some restaurants serve great food. Others make you feel like you've gone home…read more I've been chasing the perfect Cubano ever since I left Florida. I didn't grow up eating them--my family didn't have much money--but I discovered them later while exploring little neighborhood spots around Tampa and Ybor City. Somewhere along the way, the Cubano became my sandwich. So when I ordered a Cubano, a bag of chips, and a Mexican Coke from Thompson Bros Cubanos, I expected a good lunch. Instead, I got a taste of home. The sandwich was everything a Cubano should be. The pork was tender, the ham and Swiss were perfectly balanced, the mustard and pickles added just the right bite, and most importantly, the bread was authentic. If you've ever had a real Tampa Cubano, you know the bread is what makes it. Crisp on the outside, soft inside, and sturdy enough to hold everything together without getting in the way. Talking with owner Clint Thompson made the experience even better. He grew up in Tampa and has his Cuban bread shipped from La Segunda Bakery in Ybor City--the same bakery that's been making Cuban bread since 1915. That isn't marketing; it's respect for the tradition. Clint greeted me like an old friend, and we spent time talking about Florida, food, and his plans to open a full Florida-inspired restaurant. After hearing his vision, I can honestly say it's one of the restaurants I'm most excited to see become a reality. If you've never had an authentic Tampa-style Cubano, this is the place to start. And if you're someone who misses Florida the way I do, don't be surprised if the first bite transports you back there. This wasn't just one of the best sandwiches I've had in Kansas City--it reminded me why I fell in love with Cubanos in the first place.

The rice and beans were some of the best I've had, and the Cuban was top notch. I really liked the bread, it was toasty but not dry. Brisket was unwrapped near our table and was dripping juices - spice rub and doneness was right on. The meat was so tender and flavorful that I didn't really need P&F's BBQ Sauce- which was also very good and a bit different from traditional KC style sauce. Pork Burnt ends aren't my favorite but these were tasty, very well spiced and were complimented well by the P&F sauce. While I thought the brisket was the star of the show, the smoked and fried chicken wings were a close second to the brisket and seemed very popular with the crowd at Discourse. When chicken is smoked well, it carries the smoky taste throughout tender and juicy meat and these were smoked well. Can't forget Discourse Brewing, I tried their Used 8 track Dortmunder Lager. I like German style lagers and pilsners and this choice well complimented P&Fs BBQ. Before finishing for the evening I had a Platinum Label "I'm a Dinosaur" Helles - it was light and not too hoppy. I'd have both again. Wednesday is Trivia Night at Discourse and while I didn't stay for it, the place was packed an hour before trivia started. All in all a great evening. If you like BBQ, Beer or trivia or want to hit a trifecta - try Discourse Brewing on a Wednesday night!

Really good craft BBQ that is sorely needed in KC. Great things ahead and this is a 4+ review,…read moreleaving that final star for room to grow into. The brisket is really good, I didn't have a chance with ribs(pictures look fantastic) or burnt ends to give a more full review. The room to grow is the smoke. I wished for a stronger and more complex profile. The street/cheesy corn was incredibly refreshing.
