Friendly staff, great ambiance and delicious food. It's pricey, I paid 40- something for chilaquiles loaded, a breakfast plate, latte and hibiscus tea(which was very bitter). The only problem was how long our food took to arrive. We waited 45 minutes, watching other people get their burrito before we were served. Mind you I left a tip over 25%. Usually when you tip good you get "better service" lol. No one came to check on us once. So I asked the staff how much longer? She said it's coming out, and it did. 7 minutes later, meaning they forgot about our order. When things like this happen, a free pastry or an apology usually make up for it.. lol. But no, we didn't get anything just some extra sausages because my boyfriend wanted extra bacon but they brought us sausage. I wouldn't come here again, unless I REALLY craved the chilaquiles. Since I stayed across the street at a motel, this place was just a hop across the street. The service was great. During both visits to here, the staff was kind and quick. My husband and I split some of the baked goods. He loved one of the baked goods with almonds. I think everything was just a tad bit under sweetened but it was all fresh. Some of the stuff we were interested in was out so definitely try to get here early for first dibs. I had coffee a couple of times and it was well made and delicious. I definitely have a sweet tooth so again I wish these were slightly sweeter upon being made. I did add a little sugar and it was definitely better. The best thing I had here was the challah French toast breakfast. It was perfectly soft, seasoned, and sooo good. I'm still craving it two months later. The scrambled eggs with the fresh avocado was perfectly made and the bacon was not too crispy and not too soggy. I ended up eating this meal twice while staying here. There is 2 tables inside and about 5 tables outside. It's first come first serve was lucky too find a table right away. Then everything went downhill it took over 40 minutes to get our order. Which was chilaquiles. When I finally got my food the food was cold the tortilla chips taste like Doritos chips. Hardly any sauce on the chilaquiles my egg was shivering cold. This guy is our first time staying in the Burbank area and we had limited time . This place was close to our hotel , so we decided to give it a try. I am soooo happy we did ! The lady helping us was in the process of getting the baked goods from the racks and putting them in the display cases , but that didn't stop her from being attentive to us at all. She was so pleasant and gave us excellent recommendations. My husband had the egg sandwich ( which is a little different than what he is used to because of the lettuce and tomato) but he loved it . He also had a chai latte , blueberry muffin and their fresh squeezed orange juice . I had the breakfast plate and substituted my French toast for the cornflake version , scrambled eggs with cheese , sausage, and a vanilla cappuccino. EVERYTHING was so fresh and delicious! It came with salsas. Expensive for empanadas at $3.50 each... Everything else seemed competitive to other local bakeries in Burbank. Also, they had an eggless iced rugelach that was sold per piece versus by the pound. Cakes by the slice or cake was available too. Cute ambiance, but customers made messy tables. Spacious seating. Friendly and speedy service. And a couple hours later... The vegetarian empanada was made with potato-jalapeños-cheese. I had it with red sauce. It was okay like 3-stars. The beef empanadas was not ground meat like picadillo. I broke the empanada open to add green sauce. It was stringy and gelatinous. The smell was sweet like sugary. I tried to taste it. We found ourselves here right at opening, which was a good thing, because it filled up very quickly. All the pastries looked so good, but I opted for just a bite; the rugelach for only .75 each. It was filled with fig, so it was much less sweet than a cinnamon roll would be. It was perfectly moist and soft. It paired very well with my Americano. I also ordered the Juevos Rancheros, which was a delicious filling meal. The potatoes were very well seasoned and the sauce on the eggs was the just the right amount of spicy. The eggs were cooked well and the yoke was able to ooze all over. My mom ordered the french toast without powdered sugar. She said it had good flavor, but the middle of one of the pieces looked raw and doughy and wasn't cooked well enough. That was a big turn off for her. We were on the way to a dinner party and saw that this bakery was nearby and decided to stop for a dessert. We got a triple chocolate cake and it was SO good! Unfortunately we did not get a picture of it however we attached a picture of the cake display. From what we remember they had a vanilla sprinkle, lemon, triple chocolate, carrot and coconut cakes. The lady in front of us ordered a custom dulce de leche cake, yum! If I would have known about this place before hand I would have ordered dulce de leche. This little bakery has everything you need. I really wanted to like it but it was just ok. Their chilaquiles are just chips and loaded with salsa, a sunny side up egg, sour cream, and spices, not even mixed together. After eating the top to just have chips. I tried the lemon raspberry cake and the lemon custard tasted very "eggy". I went with a chocolate cake but if put in the fridge it becomes a giant browny! I am writing to agree with the other one-star reviews. My experience was similar to theirs. I too tried Miracle Bakery based on the five-star reviews. I too found this place disappointing on multiple fronts. The food was bland and far below average by the standards of the area. One could find much better food in nearby Downtown Burbank and Empire Center. An even bigger problem was that the service was also far below average. The lady at the cashier had good customer service skills, but the barista did not. He is the owner, Martin. He put on a different face for different groups of customers: smiles and warm greetings for la raza, nuetral expression for gringos like myself, and a rude stinky face for everyone else. I watched him deal with customers from diverse backgrounds and he seemed to be the very opposite of the friendly and helpful baristas that I usually encountered in other places. With his demeanor, I do not think he should be in a position to deal with the public. Overall, my experience there was not fantastic, to say the least. Great cafe to enjoy for your Sunday morning! My boyfriend and I went after we landed at Burbank airport. To my surprise, the place was empty at 9 a.m. on Sunday! We ordered the Burrito bowl, Chilaquiles, and the egg and muffin. We all ordered iced Cafe de Ollas. So good! I would definitely go back as it was perfectly sweet and cinnamony. The food was great! I ordered the burrito bowl which came with chicken. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the Chilaquiles he enjoyed them. However, the longer you take to eat it the more soggy the tortilla get. Next time we will ask if its possible for less salsa to prevent this since we like a more crunchy tortilla. Hispanic Heritage Month Review (9/15-10/15) Martin and Eva (and now baby Luna) opened this Bakery/Food Emporium in 2017 though i didn't get hip tp its jive until a couple of years ago. The set up is an interesting one: a first class French bakery serving savory foods from the US (French Toast here is very special), Mexico and farther South. For example the Tamales they offered last year were wrapped in a Banana leaf and featured filling totally different from the Mexican variety. Miracle also serves a full variety of coffee and espresso drinks. Eva lords over the Bakery and she and her minions produce some of the finest cakes, pastries, baked donuts, French style croissants in the Northeast LA area, I have also seen Babka. Muffins, Biscuits in a couple of flavors. I have ordered cakes here for birthdays to wild acclaim from family and friends. Today i order a couple of the new item on the menu: crispy tortilla'd tacos. the selection today featured ground, seasoned beef, cheese, lettuce which reminded me of taco night produced by my Mom. You don't see many crispy tacos of late and though the fillings were good it really is the shell which is special. Most of the time the tacos are premade and flipped into the fryer when an order is placed making the whole thing very greasy. The shell here is crispy, tasty and i think made in the oven though it could have been fried carefully so as not to let the fryer oil soak in too deeply. So the eating experience is crunchy, non greasy with the smoothness of the meat and condiments. BTW: the green Chile Chilaquiles are insanely good: flavors combines to ping and pang in your mouth and tickle your taste buds. The bowl is chock full of crispy chips, a piquant green chili, radishes and chicken, beef or tofu if you prefer. A primo product! We found this place on Postmates, and after a few great meals at home, we decided it was time to check out Miracle Bakery in person! What I really love about this place, is they offer Vegan and GF options, I LOVE Huevos Rancheros but have since given up eggs and love their option Aguacates Rancheros. The real star of the last visit was the Churro Donut! Side note ( and I am being kind here because I like this place) we were a bit disappointed because they forgot about our order and we waited 40 minutes for our breakfast as we watched several people after us eat their food and leave, but stuff happens and they were apologetic. Located in a random plaza off the 5 fwy, you can hardly notice this small bakery, but the food and service is incredible!! A co-worker once brought me their tacos and I knew I had to have it again. Needed to put a face to these delicious tacos you know? Walked in for lunch today and ordered the crispy barbacoa tacos and it did not disappoint once again. It was sprinkled lightly with red onions and cilantro with a side of green sauce. The barbacoa is seriously AMAZING. I noticed they have a lot of regulars coming through and they all know the owner by name. I really like how it has a nice, homey feel to it. They also sell cakes, baked goods, and coffee! Just checked out this new place in Burbank and glad I did. Had the breakfast burrito and a cafe mocha. The burrito was fantastic - hot with tasty, fresh, non-greasy ingredients, and the cafe mocha was delicious - not over-sweet and the balance between the espresso and the mocha was perfect. Grabbed some baked goods to bring home - a brioche, a mini lemon cake, a mini pumpkin cake, and a whole wheat carrot muffin. TASTY!!! So happy this placed opened and is close by my work! They just opened I believe about a month ago. It's a very cute, charming, and inviting place to relax and unwind. It's in a corner of a residential street on San Fernando Road. I got their very-limited (I think just 5 or 6 served that day) HAM AND PESTO SANDWICH on focaccia bread, COCONUT RASPBERRY GLUTEN FREE BUNDT CAKE, AND CAPPUCCINO. All very delicious!! The sandwich wasn't dry and the tomatoes were fresh and juicy. The pesto itself was flavorful. But be mindful they are mainly a bakery, not a deli, so call ahead to make sure they still have sandwiches available. They do have more selections (monte cristo and veggie sandwiches) on the weekends (Friday-Sunday). The bundt cake was yummy with fresh raspberries inside and not too sweet. The glaze itself was also made from raspberries and strawberries. You can definitely taste the coconut flavor. I would've liked to have more fresh raspberries though since it was so good! The cappuccino with almondmilk was perfect-not too bitter, not too sweet, and fresh! I didn't even put any sugar in it. The service was excellent. I didn't get his name but he answered all my questions about the pastries and checked up on me a few times to see if I needed anything. Super-friendly and helpful. Five-star service. The burrito was outstanding! It was a nice and hot, soft tortilla, STUFFED with egg, chorizo, some veggies and cheese and came with a side of fresh chips and salsa. The thing I really liked was that unlike so many burritos out there, this tasted very healthy and clean and balanced the flavorful ingredients very well with the veggies and eggs. A fantastic post-workout breakfast. Of course it was my cheat day so I needed something sweet. I have to watch my gluten intake so I was freaking out when I saw that they have gluten-free donuts. What a cute cozy shop! I fell in love with the ambiance and a great smile on the girl who took my order as I walked in. That must be the owner's love to their store what I felt. I got chocolate ganesh, tres de leche, apple pie, chocolate croissant and carrot muffin. My favorite was chocolate croissant and chocolate ganesh! Croissant was really flaky outside, it was made it to the perfection! Everything else was good as well. I gave a half of my chocolate croissant to my co-worker.
