First time customer. Brought a suit and dress shirt to have dry cleaned. Noticed a stain on the white shirt when we got it back. We had to point it out. Came back two days later to pick it up. There was a second stain.. Owner claims it was a food stain. Nothing was consumed in the time we got married at city hall while the shirt was on. Let alone did we have anything to drink. The response was "sorry this was the best I could do". Oh so now my husband has to wear this shirt again. Thanks. With a permanent "food stain" that isn't a food stain. Owner did not offer refund or discount. We simply walked away and told them we'd never be back. read more

Unfortunately after coming to this location several times I have come to find out that all that glitters is not necessarily gold. I tried overlooking the frequent "black tax" I was hit with when going to this location. (Black tax is defined as a higher price that POC have to pay for due to their ethnicity). Several times I was quoted one price only to arrive and pay nearly double. Now its gotten to the point where I dropped off an item to have repaired and waited nearly a month to have it finished incorrectly and more crooked then my teeth twice. Now one of my favorite clothing items is ruined and I had the unpleasant experience of literally paying to have it ruined. Unfortunately I will never again return to this location which is a shame since it was previously my go to dry cleaners. Overall this place is now NOT a great place to go if you're of African decent. While other places may or may not be overly enthused about your business this location will take your money but not finish the job that was requested. There are a lot of other dry cleaners in The City which I would recommend going to versus coming to Miracle Cleaners. As you can see from my other reviews I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area...However! The owner is rude. After she recently took my clothes in, she told me almost a week later that she busted a part in her Italian made dry cleaning machinery and would need another week still in order to clean my clothes. When she delivered the news she didn't apologize but just said "it was too bad". My wife hates to pick up clothes at the store because the owner acts all put out, like she is doing us a big favor. She has a negative attitude and complains about everything and everybody, especially her "stupid son". I spend on average of $125 per week here and am pretty sure I am one of their top ten customers. I never have been given any discount for large volume of business and loyalty. I just found another dry cleaner on Portola Avenue that gives me 20% off if I drop my clothes before 9AM. Although it's more distant from my house, they are getting my business from now on. read more

First time customer here at miracle cleaners and I am quite upset. I picked up my dry cleaning today in a rush and didn't really look it over as it was only 1 item (Burberry Polo). Once I started packing for my trip, removing the plastic bag and cloth hanger I noticed that my polo was very distressed and discolored in areas. First time using this dry cleaners and it was horrible. I had four 49er jerseys dry cleaned and my new jersey was damaged. It looked ut was just washed normally and numbers faded. The stripes on the sleeve are all cracked bad. The numbers on a different jersey were completely falling off. I take my jerseys to the dry cleaners to make sure they stay in great shape but after today I have to buy new ones. read more

I just picked up 2 dress shirts that had been washed (not dry cleaned). They wrote our last name on the collar with PERMANENT MARKER! Since they put 2 shirts together right after, one left a mark on the back of other shirt's collar (outside). We just could not believe it! I wish I checked them when I picked them up, but who would think they would write on the shirt with permanent parker??? I am bringing them back there tomorrow. Miracle Cleaners took my dry cleaning virginity! Up till now, I've never taken anything to be dry cleaned because all the clothes I own are too cheap to warrant being professionally cleaned. That's still true! But I purchased a beautiful used wool coat for my mom and it was really stinky when it was delivered. I grew up in the area, and for as long as I can remember, Miracle Cleaners had almost become imprinted in my mind with its cool name and mysterious mascot. I finally got a chance to check it out for myself and I happily took the coat in to be cleaned. It cost $10.75 and took 4 -5 days. Any traces of dirt and stink were gone. I have 3 peacoats from forever 21 that I cherrish: Blue, Purple, Black. Since I wear them all the time, I always get stains, so I've been looking around for a good dry cleaning place to clean them. The first dry cleaners I went to was in the Lombard area, and most stains were still in on the peacoat! And it was pretty expensive. I was hoping Miracle cleaners would be different, but no: When I picked up my peacoats, the same stains were STILL there! Especially one on the sleeve where I had dropped marinara sauce. About 20% of it was gone, but the rest remained. Not only was the stain an issue, the fabric got puffy. Kind of like a poodle dog. I'm still on the hunt for a good dry cleaner place. Other dry cleaners use iron-on bar codes to keep track of my shirts. For a while, Miracle Cleaners was attaching a small label with my name on it as an identifier, which was fine. What is not fine is that they have started using Magic Marker again on the collars of my shirts to identify them. Firstly, THAT is what the monogram is for. I don't want my shirts ruined because the Magic Marker bleeds through the fabric and shows on the outside. This drives me crazy. They do a great job getting shirts clean and folding them. They never lose or break anything. But the Magic Marker has got to go. If they can't change this policy, I am going to switch to another cleaners. I mean, join the 21st Century! read more

At risk of sounding redundant -- so often have I been to an establishment that raises my hopes high by the mere sighting of its awning ... but not today. My friends spilled *something* on drapes doing *something* we weren't supposed to be doing. This would have been all well and good, had the drapes not been ancient and dusty. With a few hours to spare, we dropped our now-pungent-odoured curtains off at the closest place possible ... and wrung our hands in wait. 16 hours later, I picked them up again, spotless and once-again-fuzzy -- a day earlier than scheduled. An extra star to the fact that the woman took "extra-special care" cleaning them and prioritised ours, because she heard us talking about how f'ed we would be if they were ruined. I bought a bag online and it came to my house smelling fishy. Yes, actually fishy. I'm too lazy to return things AND I thought it would be easy to get it dry cleaned. Not so. No one dry cleans bags, apparently. No one, but this wonderful place. I came in and asked so hopefully if they'd clean my bag and instead of a "NO" which I expected, I was answered with a nice "no guarantees, but yes". Its true what you yelpers say.. Miracle Cleaners performs Miracles!! Last week I brought a white blouse to them that had greasy tomato sauce stains on it from a fun night at Boulevard Cafe. When I got home I sprayed oxy clean on the blouse only to discover that the tag said dry clean only. Dammit! I took it to Miracle Cleaners after finding them on Yelp. They not only got the stain completely out without a trace but they also hemmed my trousers and pressed them to perfection for only $15 total. I am so happy! Some clothes still had stains on them, while one button up shirt somehow gathered new stains on the white sleeve? All clothes were still damp when picked up, and two of the sweaters were stretched out. Wouldn't recommend even when in a tight bind. read more

I'm one of those people that don't make the time to take dry clean only clothes to the dry cleaners in a very timely manner! I wait til I accumulate several garments to justify the journey, probably not a good idea, because soon I have a bag(s) of clothing/coats , that when stacked altogether are the size of Rhode Island! .."I mean, REALLY MABEL, you have to take 15 coats to the dry cleaners TODAY!?" "YES, of course!" I say, in a huffy tone! (sigh) Anyway, even when I bring in 25-30 items, Stacey calmly looks thru everything, gets it all organized and processed and what not and tells me "You pick up on such and such day?!" And I'm thinking, wow!! 2 day turnaround on ALL this STUFF??? And the prices are very reasonable and unlike some unfortunate souls that go to OTHER dry cleaners, I have never had an item lost or shrunk or burned, etc... So...if you need a great dry cleaner, I highly recommend this place!!! Oh and they don't have a parking lot, it's street parking and can be dicey...you can either take your dirties over via the K-line which stops practically at the front door OR if you're driving, just park in the Walgreen's across the street for a few min while you drop off your dirty duds! I'm partial to cleaners who operate their own plant onsite, which Miracle does, as things are just less likely to go wrong that way. I take all of my stuff here, and I'm amazed at how fresh and neatly pressed it always comes out. We used to go here on a regular basis because they did a good job and the prices were reasonable. But the quality has gone down since the Great Recession. Maybe they've started skimping on changing the chemicals as often to save on expenses but our clothes just don't smell as crisp and clean as they used to, and on top of that they've raised their prices.
